Summer Night's Dream

Summer Night's Dream
Episode 19 - Flower

"Ughs...Lisa you are really! Don't do anything like this again!" Nara sat on the living room couch with friends of other program participants plus Chul Goo who crossed her arms in front of her chest with an annoyed face.

"I'm sorry, okay? I overslept. But at least I didn't fall asleep in a dangerous place. And again fortunately I was alone in the motel," Lisa shrugged her shoulders in self-defense. A story landed on Lisa's head. Tell me from Chul Goo. He was very upset at how haphazard the Singaporean girl was.

Last night, Lisa went out drinking as usual. But he seems to be drinking too much alcohol and getting drunk. He himself did not remember the exact story, but he fainted at one of the motels near the pub he visited. And thankfully he looked fine, without the slightest scuff and without any sign of anything happening, when it was built up 2 hours ago. Later, he found many missed calls from all the participants as well as Chul Goo. In short, Chul Goo finally picked up the lady at the motel and took her home.

Nara recalled when Chul Goo called her earlier. He is still in Sokcho, enjoying lunch with Ji-Ho and Park Kyung. Chul Goo asks if Nara knows where Lisa is, and of course Nara doesn't know anything at the time. Then Chul Goo tells her that Lisa is missing and that everyone is looking for her in places she might go. After hearing that, of course he could not calm down, Nara was also worried. Although he feels bad for Ji-Ho and Park Kyung, he feels he must return to Seoul as soon as possible to help his friends find Lisa. At first he thinks of using the train or bus to get home, but Ji-Ho doesn't let him and offers a ride home. That's how the date ended.

"Yes!!" Lisa glared at Chul Goo and then threw a sharp glare. He stroked his head that Chul Goo had just clipped.

"What?" everyone could hear clearly how upset Chul Goo was at the moment from his voice. Lisa became shriveled and did not answer. He switched to just pursing his lips and making his shoulders fall down, he knew he was wrong.

"You don't know how worried Chul Goo was" Nara said, calming as she stroked Lisa's hair. He wanted to code Lisa not to get angry at Chul Goo and Chul Goo did it out of worry.

"of course! My responsibility is at stake here," Chul Goo rolled his eyes in a frenzy. After that his eyes moved looking at the silent Lisa while looking at the floor below him. The guilty face of the girl began to look and made Chul Goo soften. He sighed softly and continued, "How about we order chicken?" He tried to melt the atmosphere by shifting the topic to a chicken meal together.

"Good too! Call!! Call!!" Nara clapped her hands excitedly then smiled towards Chul Goo. He knew Chul Goo would not be able to get angry for a long time and nag.

The others also cheered in agreement. So Nara stood up from her seat and walked towards the kitchen to order chicken. After ending his call and just waiting for the chicken to come, he returned to the living room where everyone had gathered. He landed his body on the sofa and suddenly realized that someone was missing. "Chul Goo where?" he looked around but could not find the face of baby face Chul Goo everywhere.

"He's out. He said he wanted to call people at his house to tell them he was going to be late for home" Lisa replied.

Nara nodded. A second later he got up and decided to join Chul Goo outside. It's possible that Chul Goo is still in shock after everything that happened today. That man has full responsibility for the people in this house, so if anything happens to Lisa, she'll be the one to blame.

"You are here apparently," Nara walked gontai approaching Chul Goo who sat on a park bench with a chin. Just as Nara landed her butt next to Chul Goo, she wrapped her arm around the man's shoulder. Then he tightened his arm circle like he was strangling while pulling his victim closer.

"Yes! Yep! What the hell are you doing? Aakk! Aakk! Release!!" Chul Goo rebelled while patting Nara's arm, trying to break free. Nara chuckled for a moment and then let go of her giggling. Then he folded his hands on the table in front of them and put his head on the hand with his face facing Chul Goo. "You okay?"

"Umm..before, until you almost made me die suffocating" said Chul Goo sarcastically.

Nara chuckled again. If Chul Goo could reply to him with sarcastic words, it meant that he was fine. Nara maintained her position, again paying attention to Chul Goo. The man next to her brushed his black hair back with his fingers while smiling faintly, not enough to display his dimples on the right cheek.

"OK, how long do you want to admire me like that?" chul Goo turned to look at Nara. Slowly, he landed his head on the table with his face facing Nara.

Nara raised her head, suddenly feeling misbehaved with Chul Goo's eyes looking straight into her eyes. "Don't be too confident. I don't admire you,"

"Thank you.." instantly, the word came out of Chul Goo's mouth.

"Hm? What's for?"

"To this day, thank you for helping me find Lisa. It seems that I ruined your meeting with someone," Chul Goo said that sentence slowly and carefully while judging Nara's expression.

"Oh.that's.." Nara's response stopped for a moment because her phone was shaking. He glanced at the phone lying next to him and saw an incoming message plastered on the screen. "Wait a minute" Nara said as she picked up her phone and read the incoming message.

“You're home? I was in the area around it, and you left something in my car, so I wanted to return it,"

“Really? Then forgive me for trouble,” he typed in reply.

“It's okay. I want to meet you too. I'm in front of the house now. I'm just in or how?”

Nara is flabbergasted to read Ji-Ho's new message, and hurriedly types in a reply before the person has time to do as he says in his message. “No need.you can wait in the car. I'm out now”

"What's wrong? Who sent you the message?" Chul Goo looked at the curious Nara with raised eyebrows. But Nara just retorted with a sling, trying to say nobody and nothing important.

"I.um.mau go buy something at the minimart near here. You want to drop something?" asked Nara with a strange gurgle while standing from the park bench.

The thought of telling Chul Goo about Ji-Ho crossed Nara's brain, but she was still confused where to start and what to say. What are he and Ji-Ho in? Should he tell Chul Goo how he and Ji-Ho met? Should he tell Chul Goo about his date today? Should he tell Chul Goo that Ji-Ho has already expressed her feelings and said she likes? But what if Ji-Ho's feelings suddenly change when she tells Chul Goo? Chul Goo will definitely find him crazy and too hallucinating if an idol likes him.

Nara clucked slowly. Never mind, he's dizzy enough. Maybe he will tell Chul Goo later, when everything is clear. As she can be sure of Ji-Ho's feelings for her. When her feelings for Ji-Ho are clear.

"You want me to be with you?" chul Goo's question made Nara aware of her daydream.

"No.no need," Nara waved her hand and started walking unsteadily towards the fence. "I'll be right back" he shouted as he opened the fence and closed it back down quickly. As he turns around, across the street is Ji-Ho's car. He also approached the car.

Nara opened the passenger door and jumped in. "Hi," he said towards Ji-Ho with a big smile engraved on his face. And Ji-Ho does the same.

"So, I forgot what?" the light in the dimly lit car makes Nara have to rely on her sense of touch. He moved his hand, fumbling around his stool to check if any of his belongings were left behind. But himself actually there is no picture of what he forgot, because this morning he only brought a few things. Just his wallet, little camera, cell phone, and his cell phone charge.

"You left this," Ji-Ho grabbed something in the back seat and thrust it in front of Nara. The daisy flower she gave me earlier.

Nara takes the flower from Ji-Ho's grasp and brings it closer to her face to breathe its scent again, again admiring Ji-Ho's gift. A smile again expands on Nara's tapered face, remembering the meaning of daisy, love and patience. Does that mean Ji-Ho will be patient until Nara is out of her doubts?

"I'm glad you like it" Ji-Ho said, relieved as she slammed her shoulder against the seatback. Now he makes his position so that his body faces where Nara sits.

"Who wouldn't like it?" joking Nara makes Ji-Ho smile thinly.

"By the way..." Nara suddenly remembers something she wanted to say to Ji-Ho. He flipped his body until now their sitting position face to face. Although in a dim light, he can still see the narrowed eyes of Ji-Ho staring at him. "Sorry I ruined the date,"

"What's? Who said you ruined it?" ji-ho's narrow eyes are now widened, shocked to hear Nara's apology. Then he advanced his body so that their distance shortened, "You didn't break it. It was a great day to be with you," he explained with a warm smile. He moved back to his starting position when he saw Nara gulp, misbehaving.

Nara held her neck, which felt choked because her heart was beating so fast. She wants to hold her chest, but she is embarrassed that Ji-Ho realizes that her chest is pounding. "But we have to go home fast because of me" he said with a heavy breath.

Ji-Ho chuckles softly, then raises her hand and lands her palm on the top of Nara's head. He stroked the head gently. "Just calm down, not your fault. But, if you really feel guilty, how about a second date?"
