This girl is blind.
Enough of the way he walked, and his eyes were constantly closed. I already know, and I wonder why this girl is on this deserted bridge, and this brat.
"If there's someone here, please answer me."
He still asks like that. I was still looking at the end of the bridge, watching as I clasped my hands.
She, that girl started walking towards me while pointing her cane. I just waited, but the girl didn't know she was actually walking toward the biggest hole on the bridge.
'Sial'
"Shut up there!"
I screamed from the end of the bridge.
The girl stopped immediately. He seems a bit surprised.
"Eh? It turns out there are people."
He looked back and forth, but I was a few meters in front of him. Shut up and still waiting.
"Shut up there, I'll go to your place."
I walked towards the girl. I was just trying to help her, there's no way I'd leave a blind girl here.
But I'm astonished. How did he get to the middle of the bridge. Though this bridge has been rickety and many holes in some parts.
"Eh? B-well, t-thank you."
He answered nervously.
He gently pummeled his wooden stick onto the bridge. I walked slowly towards him, he still looked back and forth.
"I'm in front of you."
He gasps. "Oh.... Uhh... Mm.... Oh so, hahaha....."
He laughed while scratching his head.
I'm sure his head isn't itchy.
And I've arrived. I'm still looking at this girl. A normal girl, not an ordinary girl. If she was an ordinary girl, there was no way she would sit on this old, almost broken bridge.
White clothes anyway.
I still imagine he is actually a ghost.
"What are you doing here?"
He gasped again.
"I? I'm looking at the stars."
Huh uh?
"Seeing.... The star?"
The girl nodded in spirit. "Yes, if I see it at dawn the stars are more obvious."
I don't know if he's kidding or anything, but I'll try.
"Ohh... Where is the brightest star now?"
Without hesitation he pointed towards the right.
"Western. I actually did see the brightest star."
I'm speechless. He's correct.
"So don't-don't be a star-lover, too, Dad?"
'Sister?'
I found an awkwardness.
"Yes, I love stars too. Can you explain some constellations here?"
He was silent, then he nodded quickly.
"Yes! So, in the Northeast there's Cygnus, in the south there's Cassiopeia, and southwest there's Ursa Major and Ursa Minor."
I'm speechless.
"You know a lot."
I stroked his head. The girl smiled happily.
"Of course I know all, it's all because I'm a star!"
Huh uh?
"W-what?"
The girl nodded. "Yes, I'm a star. My name is Ankaa the brightest star of the constellation Phoenix."
"........"
I'm speechless.
This girl, she suddenly said that she was a star.
"My name is Sergio, greetings."
This is all I can do.
I don't get it. He introduced himself as a star? I don't understand, but the events I've just experienced don't make sense either.
The girl, Ankaa smiled after hearing my name.
"I don't think I can see my sister. Brother is too dark."
"Dark?"
Ankaa nodded. "Yes, it's too dark. The power of the other brother is dangerous."
I'm appalled.
Again, Ankaa nodded. "Even I know about the two guard sisters. My advice brother don't use that power too often."
"I don't want to use this power either."
Who would use this power.
"Good, and one more. Brother don't trust two of brother's guards too much."
"Religently"
"And one man! Don't trust that guy!" Ankaa.
"What do you mean?"
I asked confused.
"Yes that's karen-"
I waited for Ankaa to continue her words, but Ankaa only showed a complicated face. After that Ankaa's facial expression returned to normal again.
Ankaa gave a rough sigh. "The point is like that. Believe in my words."
I'm nodding.
Then Ankaa walked towards me. After he came before me, he suddenly pulled my head in front of his face.
I'm appalled.
"Ankaa, what does this mean?"
"Shut up."
One word. Just one word from him had left me unable to move.
I bowed a little because of our different height. Ankaa was only as tall as my chest, so I had to bend forward.
Suddenly Ankaa kissed me on my forehead.
"....."
"Now, I can calm down."
Ankaa stayed away, but I still stayed in the position before.
I'm not sure if he's blind.
"Sister, is sister daydreaming?"
I stood up straight. "No-no, just surprised. By the way what you just did."
Ankaa smiled. "So you'll know."
I could only be silent at the answer.
"I think I should go."
Ankaa said while looking towards the east.
"Oh. What's.... We'll see each other again?"
Ankaa looks at me. I'm not sure she's looking at me, because her eyes are closed, but I think so.
"Surely."
"I'm glad to hear it."
Yeah, I'm glad to hear that. I don't know why.
"Then I'll see you, Ankaa."
"Yes." Yeah."
I turned around, leaving before Ankaa. The sun is up, I have to go home quickly if I don't want to be late for school.
But there's one I don't realize.
"Hm... He was a kid."
Ankaa, slowly her appearance changed. Her hair that was previously black turned bright red, her height changed. But the biggest change was in his eyes.
Slowly, Ankaa opened her eyes. Her eyes are so beautiful. His eyes are orange mixed with blue, his eyes display a beautiful color gradation.
"Sergio, we'll meet soon."
