Ch. 52 [What to Say]

In a large 10-story building, there is a meeting room attended by various races. It was seen that Vampires, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, and other races had gathered to discuss something.

The Gods of Goddesses.

"Yo Agni, once you show up here" said a brownish-blonde god wearing a dark brown Tuxedo. The god Ares has a thin stature, but behind his tuxedo are muscles that make any woman fall in love.

Agni who was currently standing with her hand holding onto a glass of wine only smiled faintly.

Agni and Ares both stared at a woman wearing a dark green robe. His hair was covered by a hanging cloth wrapped around his head, his emerald green eyes staring intently at the God Agni and the God Ares. She is the Goddess of Nature, Nyra.

Goddess Nyra sighed, "I'm good."

"You haven't changed well, it's always grim" Agni said.

And after that Agni got the Death glare from Goddess Nyra.

Agni cleared her throat first before continuing. "Have you given your first blessing to your Ium, Nyra?"

"Still in the process" Nyra replied briefly.

"Hohoho... If you ask Agni, you will respond quickly" Ares said.

"He's more senior than me. I respect him anyway, just like I respect Zeus."

Ares was silent for a while, "Aren't I and Agni both more senior? But, why do you always talk cynically, or even disrespect me?" said Ares with a pretentious look.

A blonde-haired and purple-eyed lady was just rolling her eyes lazily. "Why do I see him again" he lamented.

Ares who heard it slashed his eyes. "Hi Goddess Bishamon, how are you? Are you going to die today?"

Hearing the words of Lord Ares made Goddess Bishamon ride apoplexy. "AHAHH...Me? Die off? It is still too soon tens of thousands of years for me to die, A-R-E-S" said Dewi Bishamon while spelling the name of the god Ares at the end.

"Ah... They started again" Hermes said with a small laugh.

"You see how else, they are both God of War and Goddess of War" said Nyra.

"Hermes, you are a freak today" said the god Agni.

Agni, Nyra, Ares and Bishamon even stopped their quarrels when they heard the words from the mouth of the messenger God.

The four of them - Nyra, Agni, Ares, and Bishamon - looked at each other first. It's like saying what you're going to say just by passing an eye.

"I think the bad news first" said Dewi Bishamon with a little doubt.

"Well, bad news yeah." murmured Ares.

Suddenly the aura in the room became gripping. Feels cold and stuffy. Even the Ium gathered outside the room also felt the heavy pressure exuded by the Goddess Gods.

"E-uh? You-you sure, Hermes?" Ask Agni nervously.

"Hermes, you didn't say it wrong, did you? Tell me that what you said was wrong" Ares said in a dubious tone to the God of Messages.

The god Hermes suddenly felt dizzy. "I know I can't believe it, but the message I got also came from Zeus. Do you doubt the words of the Supreme God!"

Ares was silent when the name of the supreme god was mentioned. Of course, he did not doubt the message conveyed by the god Zeus.

Nyra who heard the remark from Hermes only sighed tiredly. "Next good news. I hope the good news you're telling me is really good, Hermes."

"Calm down, the latest news is very good" said Hermes with enthusiasm.

They all fell silent again after hearing the words of Goddess Bishamon.

They all returned to the focus of the god Hermes.

"I want you here to promise and swear not to divulge anything about what I'm going to tell you today. Are you willing?"

"Before we swear or promise. What if you explain or give us a clue as to what we're going to do?" Ares said in a serious tone.

"Ares right. We know nothing at all. Give us a little hint" Nyra agreed to the words of Lord Ares.

Agni only paid attention to the debate of all of them. He knew what little task the god Hermes was going to do.

"You're right, so this is a message from the god Zeus himself..."

"...We, who are here, have to protect someone."

"Someone?" parrot Goddess Bishamon.

God Agni smiled faintly when she heard it.

"Yes someone" said Hermes. "Someone who if we neglect to protect him will wreak havoc on Egolas and the Earth."

Nyra, Ares, and Bishamon were stunned for a moment. In their minds was, who had such great power?

"Who is he?" Ask Goddess Bishamon.

"He was just a human being who had no magic and mana in his body" Agni said by cutting off Hermes' speech.

Agni just smiled a little. Heard these responses of his friends.

"You... You know him, Agni?" hermes said it was unbelievable.

Agni gave a small ruckus to Hermes. "Yes, and I could have sworn and promised right now if the person I was protecting was him."

Once again those in the room were shocked.

Unable to bear it anymore, God Agni laughed loudly at the expression on their faces.

"Don't put on such a weird face. I dare say that because he is the one I deserve to protect."

"And who are you to protect, Agni?" Ask Ares.

Agni immediately put on a sad face.

"Yeah... Can say... A friend?"
