The next few weeks passed slowly and quickly at once. It felt so fast when the elves taught me things when my adaptable brain absorbed everything he could. Then it felt very slow when the "school" day ended and I was left in my own room.
Through school, I began to learn the right enchanting compared to what I was originally able to do by dazzling my arrows. The proper procedure for dazzling is to draw a circle using mana and fill the entire circle with a few sentences in the ancient language of "asking" circle where to get into a particular item you want to enchant and perform a specific task.
The ancient language they spoke and showed me was something they thought was impossible to translate. There are only a few words and phrases that they know that barely make them truly enchanting.
However, as soon as they told me some of the few words they knew, my adaptation came about and gave me the ability to know all the Ancient Languages. I made sure to keep that secret.
the other 3 classes (Land, Nature, and Magic 101) also passed quickly but were not as exciting as the enchanting ones. At Archery, they tried to teach me a few things called "Advanced" but those were really just some of the basic things I learned years ago when I first learned them on earth.
Nature meditates a lot near plants and tries to harmonize with those I just found very stupid ... But there are skills for that!
Finally for magic 101 I learned many spells that were all combined into one single thing. {Basic Witch}.
With basic magic skills, if I tried to do something very basic with mana like cast a fire spell, then it would work as if I was casting that spell. While it may seem overpowered as if it is magic to make any spell, it is not.
The highest spells I could cast at the current level of Basic Magic were water balls, flames (a slightly better version of the spark), rock fragments, and gusts. If I supply the extra mana to his spell, it becomes a bigger and stronger version.
Moreover, I do my basic training every day and can increase my physical stats and become more familiar with the elves until they allow me to explore their forest kingdom!
Most of their houses and belongings are at the top of trees and the walkway passes through their base. The original elf who spoke to me about enchanting me spoke to me a lot and I found out that her name was Gael.
Now that all the elves know me, they are not as racist as before, I can get to know them better. Gael cares deeply about the hidden kingdom of elves and promises himself that he will do anything he can for it which explains the reason why he is so rude to begin with.
Same thing with almost all the other fairies I met as well. They only care so much about their culture that they are rude at first.
One day while I was studying extras and some random exercises in my room, someone knocked on the door.
Wake up, I open the door and find that Mrs. Bitchy Elf standing there is still very proud and everything.
"May I help you?" I asked very gently
"No. I'm just here to tell you that because of your incredible learning speed, you only have one day left in our school. After that, we'd like your help with Leo's charm item."
I raised my eyebrows at the fact that he called me by my real name. Almost all the other elves called me by my usual name because I helped /work with them the last few weeks, except Mrs. Bitchy himself.
"I'll help if it's within my capabilities." I bowed a little to show respect.
Madam Bitchy replied with a short bow and turned around and left.
Now that I am no longer learning/exercising, I feel like doing something else rather than continuing what I did back.
I left my room and started walking to the archery practice area and pulled my bow from my inventory all the way there. Once there, I took some arrows placed in the basket and put them in my place.
Walking across the room, I stood a few feet away from the pair of ox eyes and entered into a regular standing position. Counting backwards slowly in my mind while keeping my eyes closed, I prepared myself to make a quick shot at each one. Once I reached 1 in my head, I opened my eyes and quickly pulled out an arrow.
I quickly fired it at the target furthest to the left before quickly pulling out another arrow and firing it at the next one in the line.
I continued to do this until I reached the last one and after I did I pointed my bow to the ground and observed my work. Most of them hit the target right in the middle, but a few arrows missed about a few inches.
As I continued to observe my work, I began to hear the sound of clapping behind me. I quickly drew an arrow as I turned around and pointed it at whoever was clapping.
Clapping behind me was the first fairy I met still in her usual clothes that covered everything with pitch-black silk.
"I see you enjoy taking after Elf Elf. You're almost as adept as a fairy with a bow."
I pointed my bow to the ground.
"The key word is almost Zavar."
He laughed a little at hearing this.
"You know that we Elves live for a very long time compared to Humans. We can hone our skills for centurys while you might only be able to earn a few decades if lucky. You can do this just to show how good your skills really are. "
We stood there in awkward silence for a minute before I spoke again.
"Have you come to hear Zavar's reason? You usually live near the border just in case for people trying to enter the kingdom."
"Ah yes, about that. I want to give you a gift as regret for being rude and welcoming a gift for joining the fairies and not being like other Humans."
Zavar grabbed back and pulled his bow. He saw her for a while before she pushed him towards me.
"This. Take this and let this be proof that you're friends with the elves."
I grabbed my hand to grab it before stopping for a few centimeters.
"This seems like something very culturally important. Is this okay?"
He once again laughed.
"You were right about that. When an Elf gives a bow to someone, it signifies a belief that they will be able to live up to the expectations we have given them. With me giving this bow to you, we hope that you "Will be able to help with the charm that we have been working on for a long time now. Me and all the other fairies hope you don't disappoint."
He kept trying to give me a bow and after pondering for a while, I finally grabbed the bow and slowly took it from his hand. After doing so, a smile grew on his face as he immediately bent down to form a complete 90-degree angle.
"I hope you don't disappoint my friend." He said as he got up before finally turning around and walking into the distance.
[You have earned the title {Friend of the Elves}. You are no longer seen as an enemy or as a racist human being by all elves.]
"Huh, that's weird."
