The person in the tree just looked at me while continuing to point arrows at me.
"Who are you and why are you trying to enter the land of Elves?"
I was a little surprised when I heard that the person who shot the arrow towards me was from the land of the fairies and that the land of the fairies was even in the first place.
"My name is Leo Walter. I lived in this forest for the past few days and I ran out of water, so I came to look. I heard water flowing in that direction, so I continued in that direction. "I know the elves live here and I'm sorry. If you can let me get some water or if you want to trade so I can get some water then I'll leave immediately."
We kept staring at each other for a few minutes before they finally stopped pulling the bowstring. They then do a flip out of the tree and as soon as they touch the ground, they roll forward to reduce the damage.
"The other person is on his way to talk to you and watch you when you get water. If you're lucky, we might just allow you to trade with us."
I nodded my head because I didn't want to say anything to anger this elf and become an enemy of the fairy. After all, this would be the first whole city I would meet. If I can get a good relationship with them, they might even help me with training or something.
After a few minutes I imagined what the possibility of friendship with the elves would bring, someone finally came. That person was a male elf with leafy green eyes and blond hair that braided towards the middle of their back.
"I'm sorry, man, I'm here to keep an eye on you and make sure you don't do anything stupid. Now, go on."
He immediately turned around and started walking in a direction some distance away from where the water was. We spent a few minutes walking well before finally getting to an area that had a single giant tree. This tree is so big, that its base is as thick as an entire skyscraper.
When we got close enough, he made a sharp turn to the right that led to a small tree with a door on it.
"Please log in here and we'll confirm everything you have about you and determine if we'll keep you alive to find out where we are."
Just hearing that sent a cold feeling down my spine that scared me of my life. I entered quickly through the door and once I did, it closed behind me. Through the door is a room that has a person sitting on a chair with several tables, and a hammock leaves strange like things on the side of the room.
The person sitting on the chair reading the book, closed it as soon as the door was closed and stood up.
"You're finally here. Goody. Now cut it out and put everything you have and have on your right at that table." He pointed towards a table with his book.
"Do you have uhh, room to undress and get a spare set of-"
"No, no. Now do as I say and quickly put everything on the table."
I took a quick breath and did what the man asked. All the time I was angry about the fact how I just got my clothes and now I have to strip. Plus, my luck doesn't seem to do anything.
But don't think about it now.
After stripping, I put everything on the table he mentioned earlier and stood a little further with him while trying to keep the courtesy. The elf slowly walked to the table slowly while also pulling out the golden-lensed glasses and slowly putting them on her face.
As soon as he saw the arrow, his eyes widened.
"Human ... Where did you get this?" He said while pulling an arrow out of the tube.
"His father? I got it from uhh ... Friends?"
The elf let out a long sigh as she slowly walked towards me.
"Not a fucking arrow .." He is now a foot away. "I mean ENCHANTMENT ON THE ARROW ?!" He screamed at the top of his lungs.
"That? I-I did that. Wh why? Is there something wrong with that?"
"It wouldn't be wrong if it was due to the fact that dazzling is very difficult to do and you have a lot of double blown arrows!"
"Listen, I know nothing about enchanting other than how to do mana marks and just add a certain amount of mana into the arrows. So can you explain more about enchanting if you can?"
He once again sighed deeply before rubbing his nose.
"As everyone knows, well, except for you, enchanting takes years of experience and even that is something that does not really give good a spell unless you have lived for centuries. This arrow that you say" you "charm is a basic charm for us elf elves who are long-lived but for humans to make something like this they must have lived hundreds of years!"
"So I can make some arrows like that is something that seems impossible?"
"Yes that." He turned to where he had originally sat and pulled the arrow from beside him somehow.
He then came back to me and handed it to me.
"Satisfy this."
"Like not right"
"YES NOW."
I jumped back a little because he was screaming. As soon as it started working, I started throwing two spells at the arrow. As I did so, the elf just stood up while watching me in astonishment.
"That's ... It's amazing to make it simpler. You have cast two enchanting spells in such a fast time ... No-, Leo, are you willing to work with the elves? Your potential is amazing when it comes to dazzling and I feel like we could create a reciprocal working relationship? "
