TBM Chapter 11 - Lowering the Ego
"You think I want to marry a man like you! We only marry contracts until your baby is born!" obviously Juvel by crossing both of his hands.
"I still don't want to!" reject Keiner firmly. If the ends are married, he does not need to bother doing artificial insemination.
"Well, I'll drop your baby!" threaten Juvel.
Juvel stood up, she wanted to leave Keiner's mansion but Keiner prevented her by holding the girl to go up to her room. He has to handcuff Juvel again.
"Take me off!" yelled Juvel who put up a fight but Keiner locked on to his movements.
Keiner kept cuffing one of Juvel's hands at the stake.
"We have to make a covenant!" said Keiner who wants to bind Juvel with the law.
"You forgot it!? I'm a mafia, I'm an outlaw against the law!" sahut Juvel who wants to remind himself.
Keiner looked frustrated, he yelled then left Juvel alone. Keiner headed for his study, he wanted to think.
While the exhausted Juvel finally fell asleep with her handcuffed hands. He swore that he would run away from Keiner's mansion tomorrow if the man didn't want to marry him.
If Juvel marries Keiner and manages to convince his parents, Juvel will be free from the mafia life.
At midnight, Keiner returned to his room. He looked at Juvel who was sleeping restlessly. Sweat flooded the girl's temple which made Keiner approach Juvel.
Keiner finally opened the handcuffs in Juvel's hands and the second clicked that Juvel immediately hugged Keiner.
"Hiks.. I heard that voice again," Juvel cried with tears.
"You're just a nightmare, I've had it a lot" Keiner said.
Conscious juvel, distance herself from Keiner. He hastily wiped his tears. Damnit damnit! Juvel showed his weak side.
"W-why are you here?" jovel asked, switching the conversation.
"Isn't this my room?" ask Keiner back. Keiner distanced himself and sat on the sofa, Keiner did have acute insomnia. He could not sleep for 3 days. If so, he will concern himself with the work. Actually he was also tired of his life but for a purpose, Keiner had to keep it all.
The reason why she should have a baby.
"Sleep again, I'll sit here" Keiner said, trying to close his eyes but he was conscious.
Juvel saw Keiner's strange way of sleeping, she thought that the man had already slept. For that, Juvel took out a pillow that she would attach to Keiner's neck so that the man would be comfortable.
"It's a good-natured mafia man" muttered Juvel who sat beside Keiner then slowly grabbed Keiner's head and placed a pillow around his neck.
Not yet had Juvel put a pillow, Keiner actually dropped his head on Juvel's thigh.
Juvel wanted to scream and scold Keiner but seeing the man who seemed to be asleep on his thigh, he tried to budge. They fall asleep with Juvel sitting down and Keiner making Juvel's thigh a pillow.
The next morning, Keiner woke up first. He was shocked to fall asleep on Juvel's thigh when last night he only teased the girl, apparently Juvel did not fight.
Keiner looked at the sleeping face of Juvel, his hands outstretched to keep the girls' hair away.
"Alright, we'll marry the contract until my baby is born!" said Keiner who lowered his ego. Keiner saw Juvel was not the mobster he had imagined.
