CHAPTER 1
A man in a fancy suit is shaking the hand of an old man who is the guardian of marriage for his daughter. The man closed his eyes before uttering the marriage pledge. He realized, in a moment he would assume responsibility for a woman who was lying weakly in the room.
Once again the eyes of the man glanced at the beautiful woman who was deep in her long sleep. For two months, the woman had not opened her eyes due to her coma. There is a pity that slices the heart when he sees the tools that are still attached to the body of his future wife.
“Hopefully when you open your eyes later, you do not regret marrying me. Sorry,” the inner man with his nanar gaze.
“Can we start the pledge?” ask the middle-aged man appointed to certify the loveless marriage.
The groom nodded. He let out a heavy sigh and began that sacred vow of marriage.
“Rafael Arya Hartono's. Will you marry Alisha Mandalika, and promise to accompany her for life.”
“I Rafael Arya Hartono, willing to marry Alisha Mandalika and promise to accompany her for the rest of my life.”
“Good. Since the bride is ill and cannot make promises, she can be replaced with her father.”
Alisha's father nodded and followed the middle-aged man's words. The hands of the two men were still shaking each other over the body of a beautiful woman named Alisha who was lying weakly on the hospital bed.
After the brief marriage pledge, everyone was asked to go out by the doctor for the peace of the patient. Not with Rafael. The man still wants to be in Alisha's still room. He approaches his wife, then grabs Alisha's hand and pairs their wedding ring.
“Come to Alisha Rafael. You know your last name is the dream of all the girls in this town, except for her who's gone out of that pain. Even if I don't love you, I'll never let you go, because losing it hurts so much. Get to know Alisha!” rafael said with slightly shaking lips. Rafael then brought his face closer to Alisha's. The calm Paras ayu did not respond until Rafael hesitantly landed his first kiss on Alisha's forehead.
The doctors and nurses who witnessed the scene were unable to hold back their tears. Between haru and sad, they both dissolve in that historic moment. For the first time they see a man marrying a comatose woman.
After peeping his wife's forehead, Raphael turned his body. His serious face made the doctors and sisters bow their heads.
“Do whatever it takes to keep him alive. Remember, now he is also your boss!” rafael said with a flat expression. She then stepped out of the ICU room where her wedding took place.
After Rafael came out, his assistant immediately walked over and stood beside the man. Meanwhile, Rudy Mandala who is now Rafael's in-laws approached and patted him on the shoulder.
“I have my daughter. Please love him with all your heart!” said the in-law.
“I can't promise to love her, but I promise I won't let her go for life! Promise also to stay alive until your daughter is healed!”
The in-law simply nodded with a smile, nor could he promise to stay alive until his daughter woke up. In fact, the doctor could not predict when the only princess would be conscious. All she feared was one, when the beautiful woman opened her eyes, Alisha could not accept all of this.
