Chapter 16 - In the hospital

Niko looked at Eve regretfully, not giving her what she should have gotten. Letting his cousin's sister blow everything away, after feeling calm, then he opened his voice. 

"Have you let out your frustration? Or is there something you want to say?" asked Niko with a sad look. 

"It's over!" ketus Eve who turned her face, did not want to look at the face of the sister who only ignited her emotions. 

Niko sighed and stroked her sister's hair very gently, the smile on her face was very clear, trying to give Eve some understanding. "You can scold me as much, but what about grandpa? We don't have much time. If you're ready, we'll go to the hospital right now."

Clear liquid flowed on both cheeks Eve, a sense of disappointment towards the family who did not think it existed. He quickly wiped away those tears, still turning his face away. 

Unresponsive, Niko decides to start her car and rush to the family hospital. Riding the car at moderate speed, considering he was carrying his younger cousin. 

Along the way, there was no chatter between the two who were silent. 

Arriving at the hospital, the two got down from the car to get into the large building. Eve walked first, not wanting to be side by side with her cousin's sister who was very annoying. Entering the VVIP room and seen an old man who was lying weakly using a breathing apparatus. 

Eve returned the old man's smile and immediately approached him. "Grandfather, I miss you." He said softly as he hugged the grandfather for a few seconds and let go.

"Me too, how are you, honey?" lirih Nathan's grandfather who held his grandson's hand with a look of calm face. 

"I'm good, isn't Grandpa tired of lying in this gurney?"

"Did you forget who Grandpa was? Although this body is old, but the strength of your grandfather is still the same." 

"Hem, I believe that. Get well soon, I'm so lonely at the Mansion."

"Definitely! Come closer, there's something Grandpa wants to tell you." Lirih Nathan's grandfather with a severed breath. 

Everyone was there with a sad look on their face, Nathan's grandfather's declining health made them go to great lengths in healing. 

Eve bowed her body, brought her ears closer to hear the whisper of the grandfather who did not want to be heard by others. "Never show your true identity to anyone, because your skills that can break a secret code make criminals target you, and still look like this, he said, Grandfather has tried to protect your data and no one will be able to hack it, but different stories when the enemy's abilities exceed mine. Eve was silent as a statue, she did not know why the world was so cruel. Considering his family is a respected person and also the owner of the number one Mafia alliance, it seems to be a frightening specter. No one noticed Eve's facial features, and they grieved to forget something very important. 

"And yes, don't say anything I said to anyone else including this family. If you get to tell them? Then the man's life is in danger. It's not that I doubt their abilities, it's just that your safety is more important for now. The enemy this time is very dangerous, even his ability surpasses mine." Connect Nathan's grandfather. 

"Your enemies? I never hurt anyone." Eve replied to the whisper, as if she could not believe it all. Moreover, the strength of his cousin brothers was extraordinary, it could destroy things very easily.

Eve took a few steps back. "I'm like a bomb, I can blow anyone up. Is my enemy dangerous? But who is he?" it looks like he is thinking. 

Alex secretly notices everything, he is very curious about what really happened. "As if there's something to hide, I have to find out everything." That handsome man's inner self that was not far from that place. 

"I'm good" said Eve briefly, her heart irritated everyone. 

"You're a little different, tell Mom," hailed mom Lea who stroked her son's hair. 

"But I don't feel that way, excuse me!" Eve decides to leave the room for the hospital garden. 

Eve sits on a garden chair, a plant that spoils the eye for everyone. Take a deep breath, and take it out slowly. "Do I have to hide? But until when?" his monologue rubbed his face violently. 

Someone patted her shoulder slowly making Eve raise her head, seeing a handsome man smiling at her. "It looks like you're wrong!" he said and turned his gaze towards the blooming flowers. 

"No, can I join you?" said the man who smiled brightly, showing dimples on both cheeks. 

"Hem, it's up to you." Eve is not interested in the man, again lamenting his fate which became the target of criminals. 

"My name is Julian, and you?" the man smiled, sticking out his hand to get acquainted with a cute girl. 

"Even." Her hand shook the man next to her. 

"You look sad, who's sick?"

"My grandfather, and you?" ask Eve to make small talk. 

"I'm a patient at this hospital."

"What are you sick of?"

"I had an accident that left my stomach hurting."

"Hem, hopefully get well soon. I have to go inside!" pamit Eve who rushed away left the poor man. 

Julian stared at Eve's back, smiling at the beautiful girl covered in a very mute look. "I'm pretty sure, if we'll see each other again." He muttered while staring at the beautiful garden with colorful flowers in front of him. 

Dad Abian pulled the hand of the princess just his wayang gaze with full investigation. "Is he your lover? Dad look at you guys pretty close!" 

"Come Dad! I've even just gotten to know the guy, don't worry about me." Eve tried to convince her father. 

"Are you sure?" ask dad Abian. 

"I'm not lying, the man is a patient in this hospital. Never mind, Dad doesn't have to worry about anything." Eve leaves her father to go to the room where Nathan's grandfather is being cared for. 

Abian narrowed his eyes, watching the man who dared to get acquainted before him. "I don't trust the man, even though he looks so innocent. But, the front view can't guarantee everything." He muttered who also left the place.
