Chapter 68 - The Passage of Sam

Eve and her two older cousins rushed to the hospital to save Samuel's life, where they were very anxious and called for a doctor to be treated as soon as possible. 

Eve is very scared, even her body is also exposed to the blood of two men who both fight for her love. But Julian's fate was so unfortunate, he died at the hands of Alex who did not feel any guilt. The poor man's body would be cleaned and then carried to the morgue. 

Several nurses and doctors began pushing the gurney toward the operating room, while the three could only wait outside while praying for Samuel's health. Eve rubbed her face violently, she was very panicked and did not feel any tears running down both cheeks. 

"It's my fault, they shouldn't have fought. Julian died because of me too, it's hard to forgive myself. Please heal Sam, "the inner Eve prayed.

Tears continued to flow, moving from his seat and peering at the window, looking at the doctor and some nurses who were handling Samuel. He felt a hand over his shoulder, immediately turning his head to look at the man. "Is this what you want?" he was still injured and in shock.

"Sorry Eve, we don't mean to make them wretch. Just teach a lesson!" sahut Niki, who sighed. 

"Lesson? Brother Alex killed Julian right in front of my eyes."

"But he just wants to save Samuel, if that psychopath isn't shot? Sam's life is in danger." Obviously Niko. "You're angry at your sister?" 

"Don't touch me" Eve immediately left the place and headed for the park, she didn't expect it to hurt her so much. Two could not forgive himself if Samuel also caught up with Julian. 

Niko and Niki stared at Eve's departure with tearful gazes. "Is Eve gonna hate us?"

"We'll try to explain it" Niki replied in a soft tone.

Eve looks at the flower-filled garden, first meeting Julian. There was a shadow of the man haunting her and making her even more guilty. For quite a while he was there, seeking fresh air to calm a tangled mind.  

"I've been here a long time, I'd better see Sam's progress." 

Eve walked to Samuel's ward, which had just been operated on and had been moved. Seeing all the family and Lili already present with a feeling of sadness, they were disappointed with the twins N and Alex who returned to make the family angry.

Al and El slapped their children so hard that their voices sounded so loud. The three returning men made them very angry, especially Al and El as parents of twins N and Alex.

"Dad didn't expect, you guys are still being tough like this. Risking the lives of others, and now one of them is gone. Don't you think a little bit, huh? Look at that woman!" el snaps, who is very angry, and appoints Lili as Samuel's birth mother. 

The three men stared in the direction indicated by El, seeing a wounded and crying mother knowing the fate of her unconscious son. 

"Sorry, Dad." Said Niko who did not dare to look at the face of the father who was very angry.

"I'm sorry?" El slaps her twin son again, causing Anna's heart to ache.

"Stop, you've had enough to torture my son." Anna stopped her husband from beating Niko and Niki.

"Let me teach them a lesson, always act as they please." Amuk El raised his hand.

"That's enough! It's a hospital," Nathan's circus as grandfather.

Nathan pointed out the five fingers, gesturing for no one to refute his words. "The three of you will be Grandpa's law, to live to a remote island once this matter is over."

"Good, Cake." Twins N and Alex spoke in unison and were forced to accept punishment.

"Can I go inside?" chirps Eve who looked at everyone, wanted to ascertain how Samuel was.

"May, just go in!" replied Lili who agreed, she did not blame anyone. Proud of her son who can fight for love.

Eve opened the door after taking a deep breath, there was doubt in her heart to enter in due to guilt. The weak body lying on top of the gurney with bandages wrapped in wounds on the arms as well as the stomach, was extremely helpless. Walking over with tears, feeling something was lacking if the man did not bother him. 

Eve held Samuel by the hand, her unconscious condition made her very anxious. "You're a very stupid man, fighting to get a girl like me. I don't even love you, but you always prove your love. Get up for me.. Aren't you tired of lying there?" the weeping wept, she quickly wiped her tears. "Look, you're making me cry." 

Eve continued to stare at the pale-looking shady face, but a small, loud voice jolted her and saw a tool next to Samuel that had only a straight line. "No. This is impossible, Sam.Sam!" the one who invited everyone into the room.

Lili immediately approached her son, crying with a hiccup when the heart detector or EGK shows a straight line, she could not stand until his body fell and fainted and was greeted by Anna. Before long the doctor came and some sisters, they asked the family out of the room to do a good job. Everyone was in a panic, because of Samuel's condition. 

The doctor immediately acts by using a pacemaker, hoping if the patient goes through a dangerous critical period. However, there are no signals or signs that make the patient safe. After making every effort, they finally gave up and were disappointed in the result.

"Patients are gone, Doc." 

"Hem." The doctor immediately came out of the room and confronted everyone.

Eve immediately wiped her tears and went to the woman wearing the white suit. "What's Sam's condition? He saved?" his insistence is hopeful.

The doctor shook his head, as there was no hope. "Sorry, the patient is gone."

Eve laughed as her tears trickled down, her heart becoming sick upon hearing the thing she was afraid of happening. "It's not my birthday, so don't surprise me."

"The patient is dead."

"You lied!" exasperated, Eve squealed, looking at the doctor with an angry look.

Lea immediately hugged her daughter in order to accept the reality that was happening at this time. "Sam is gone" he whispered.

"That's impossible, it's not my birthday. So, don't fuck me!" Eve laughed in between her cries, staring at everyone. "I'll prove it if Samuel's alive!" He immediately entered the room and walked cautiously, laughing at the man lying helplessly.

"Hey you, wake up! Don't worry everyone, Sam.WAKE UP!" Eve shouted, still unable to accept the death of the man that made her so lost. "Don't joke!"

Everyone was very saddened by Eve's condition, they tried to stop the girl's actions.
