It did not take long, the car stopped according to Eve's direction. He had just pulled out one of his feet to get out of the car, but his expensive shoes were hit by mud. "Geez, why is my day so fucking shit?" he was annoyed, glancing at the shoes that were hit by mud.
"That's the usual thing that happens, it's like this. Don't complain too much. Comeondown!" said Eve who opened the car door and got off. He immediately approached the handsome man. "Why are you quiet? Come on!"
"No, you're the one who left. I'll just wait here for you."
"Bas bad, it's just mud and you're complaining." Ledek Eve who laughed, immediately took out a few paper bags containing bread.
"I'll prove it, if I'm a tough guy." Samuel's determination, who took a bottle of mineral water not far from him, doused his expensive mud-covered shoes. Afterwards, he rushes to help Eve to bring her a paper bag, hoping for her mission to succeed.
"Are you sure you want to come with me?" chirped Eve who was looking to the side.
"I'm pretty sure you're my girlfriend."
"Don't regret your decision, Come on!"
Samuel scratched his head because he did not understand what the words meant. Following the girl's steps towards the field containing the children playing.
"Gee, it seems like my arrival was not welcomed." Eve walked after the street child who was playing.
"Sister Eve!" said they were compact and ran over to the cute girl. Hugging Eve was like an older sibling, because of the generous heart that made them stop busking and begging.
Samuel saw Eve's familiarity with the street children who lack affection, his heart seemed to melt seeing the soul of the girl he wanted to take advantage of the soft and noble heart, the motherly side that was so prominent. "I didn't expect Eve Wijaya to feel disgusted with the street children." His inner.
"Hey, why are you quiet. Come here, I'll introduce you to these kids." Pekik Eve who smiled sincerely.
"All right." Samuel stepped up to get closer, brought four bags of paper bags and handed them to Eve.
"Eve hasn't visited in a long time, we miss Brother so much." Say one of the children who look shabby.
Eve smiled as she ruffled the little girl's hair. " I'm sorry, there's something important that can't be left behind."
"Who's that guy with Brother?"
"Call him as brother Sam."
"Hi, Brother Sam." Greet all children who smile sincerely.
"Hi" replied Samuel who was also smiling.
"I don't have anything for you!"
"really?" say the brightly lit children.
Eve nodded and smiled enthusiastically, handing out bread to underprivileged children, and some money that had been put in a small envelope.
While Samuel was silent as a statue, he saw the generosity of the girl who was very different from the woman who had been approaching him. Without him noticing, all the children had left him also a kind girl.
"From now on, you're just quiet, aren't you at home? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to prank you for bringing you here." Eve is a little guilty, considering her former employer doesn't like the slums they go to.
"Did you always share this?" samuel did not answer Eve's words.
"Yes, if I'm not busy. I always come and give them food, clothes, and some money. Know it? Seeing a sincere smile from them, makes us happy. The help we give is nothing, but it means a lot to them, and I love this action." Clearly Eve was smiling beautifully, walking towards the parked car. Samuel nodded his head.
"Don't you take it personally, weren't you disgusted when the boys hugged you?"
"No, because I like kids."
"You're very confident, not necessarily we're married. I don't want to marry a man like you either!" hatch Eve who refused.
"God, your words are so sharp." Samuel's grumpy grunt, the words spewed from Eve's mouth greatly affected him.
"But that's the truth!"
In the car, Samuel helps his girlfriend pair the seatbelt and refocus on driving. Along the way, the atmosphere was silent, it made Eve to open her voice.
"Brah!"
"Yes, what's wrong?" samuel answered, looking back and focusing on the streets.
"Can we go to the playground? There's a carnival there now."
"Why do you want to go there?"
"I haven't been there in a long time, just for a minute!" coax Eve with two sparkling eye beads.
"All right."
Samuel sighed, as they should have been dating in a romantic place, but instead the opposite. The bustling and noisy atmosphere made her unable to bear, a little reluctant to accompany her lover. "Come on, we play there. Must be so exciting!"
"No, you're just." Reject Samuel.
Eve pulls Samuel's hand until they collide, a very close distance away. The two pairs of eyes met and stared at each other for a long time, but Eve quickly moved away from the man who had become her lover.
"If you don't want to come, yes! I'll go alone!" said Eve to eliminate the awkwardness of both.
"All right, I'm coming with you!" samuel also felt awkward.
They soon boarded some rides that were very foreign to Samuel, because he only knew working in the office. There was happiness that he had not had in childhood, making him very happy.
"Hows it? Do you like it?" asked Eve who was smiling beautifully.
"I didn't expect this simple place to make me happy."
"Good, if you enjoy it."
"Did you always come to this place?"
"The carnival is only held once a year, I always come to this place."
"I'd like to take you to some fancy place, but you'd rather have a simple place like this. Why are you different from other rich women? Does your family know about this?"
"Do you think rich people just love fancy places? You wrong. Even my family comes here occasionally, Grandpa Bara who invites us and enjoys the rides."
Samuel was just speechless, spending time with Eve giving life lessons to him. All this time, he only knew the common things that rich people do and forgot the simple things.
"I'm hungry!" said Eve who was holding her stomach, looking at the lover spoiledly.
Samuel is shocked when Eve decides the location, thinking that they are going to eat at a fancy restaurant. But in fact, Eve insisted on eating in a simple place on the side of the road. "We'd better find a restaurant, it's unhygienic here and it's gonna make you sick to your stomach."
Eve sighed, looking at the handsome man next to her with a breathless look. "This place is clean, if you don't want to? You can get out of here!"
Finally Samuel relented, not wanting to leave his beloved.
