The Delayed Soul

The Delayed Soul
Chapter 23

Adam Pov

Yesterday's engagement was going well, it felt so tired but I was relieved that our relationship was one step more serious.

because I will never regret having taken a beautiful and smart woman like Tiar, which unlucky man can have the prima donna on campus.

This morning around ten I had to leave for America, because the plane ticket had been booked.

After yesterday's event I had time to enjoy the time left in Indonesia with Tiar, we spent time by traveling around favorite places in childhood, watching and shopping until late at night.

I did it on purpose because either two years or so we won't be able to meet.

"Hello, baby are you ready?" My greeting to my interlocutor from across the phone.

"Dear, we met at the airport because I'm the same Papa and Mama" he said.

After turning off the phone I put the items I would bring back into the car, not much just one big suitcase and a small bag.

An hour later we and our family entered the airport yard, the clock showed at 08:15, I asked my family to enter first into the airport. Meanwhile, I waited for Tiar and his family to arrive at the entrance.

Twenty-five minutes passed by and the latest Alphard car with the same license plate as Tiar entered the airport, with his personal driver alighting and opening the door.

Now everything is complete, there are Papi and Mami are also Tiar's parents, but unfortunately again Kak Widya can not come because she is pregnant young her third child.

"Thank you Aunt Vina for taking Adam's departure" I said after they got out of the car.

"What's wrong Dam, you're a future Auntie's daughter-in-law" Reply Aunt Vina made my face red.

"Are you sure you don't want to come to America?" I asked Tiar as he walked into the airport lobby.

"Related! later if my vacation is there, now want to focus on college here only" he replied.

The clock has shown at 09:30, I have to go inside to wait for the departure schedule.

"Yaudah, don't be naughty here? take good care of me" My message to this little baby.

"Every boss" he answered.

"I go in first yes, you will be careful to go home" I landed a kiss on Tiar's forehead very sincerely.

"Om aunt thank you for believing in Adam, Tiar for Adam, right?" My thoughts are with both of Tiar's parents.

"It's certain that it's my son" replied Om Frans kindly, this time it was far different from his response when he had not approved us.

After the plane Adam boarded managed to take off, we all went out of the airport to go home to each other, but first took the time to stop by the house to eat the mainstay of my family.

After eating I asked Mr. Muh to take me to campus because today there is an important lecture but during the day, my arrival was welcomed by the new Dina also came.

As usual we always go to the cafeteria before entering class, it is incomplete if not eat our subscription Bude Wati chicken noodles, the taste of the chicken noodles is always making a difference on the tongue.

"Bude Chicken Noodles two huh?" My message.

"New look neng? Neng Tiar abis is getting laid, huh?" Bude Wati asked after Dina and I took a seat at the table next to her chicken noodle cart.

"Ah not Bude, just engaged because she wants to go to America" I replied.

"Well, LDR dong? hopefully lasting ya Neng" he said.

"Tau lah Neng is the language of young people today, Bude Wati is not very old" he said.

"Yes deh Bude" I'll do it.

"Hopefully Neng Tiar what Mas-Mas who often eat chicken noodles here? the handsome, stocky, high-white opa-opa looks like Drakor huh Neng?" Bude Wati asked while offering two bowls of chicken noodles that had been cooked before we came.

"Hahahaha" I laughed again, this time Dina laughed along.

"Kok laugh at Neng?" Tanya Bude Wati astonishment.

"Whenever Bude Wati said it looked like a drakor opa-opa, did you watch it often? how did Bude's tumben make him spit?" My toot.

"Bude Mah subscriptions watch Drakor Neng, it's actually another student order that does not so because of the rush to enter, but still just now "The answer is confident.

While chatting and joking with Bude Wati we both enjoyed the chicken noodles that were almost cold.

"Bude Original which person is really good really chicken noodles? cheap again" I asked.

"Bude's parents were originally Boyolali but Bude was born and raised in Medan Neng, used to join the chicken noodle trade as well but in Medan so thank God a little bit can" he replied.

"But the real yummy lo Bude, seger" said Dina.

"Alhamdulillah if many like, in the field of chicken noodles only five to six thousand Neng price, there sell food what is a sweet selling people are also good" said Bude Wati.

"Wah pantesan ya bude sell only eight thousand here, if at home what sale also Bude?" Ask again.

"Yes the sale after coming from here Neng, small in front of the alley entered the contract" he replied.

"Definitely a sellout too, Bude there? oh yes he said in Medan bestseller, but why did Bude move here?" Tanya Dina was no less curious.

"The story is long Neng" he answered briefly.

"Oh.yasah not in the story is also not what Bude" said Dina.

"Can be recruited to open in front of the store Mama, let deket subscription" My suggestion.

"Yes there is a point also tuh Ti, there is still empty land, can add to the turnover of your Mama shop as well loh" Agree Dina.

"Let's talk to me about Mama first ya Bude" I bidar.

"Yes Neng" he answered.

After finishing enjoying Bude Wati's chicken noodles, Dina and I rushed towards the classroom.

We split paths when in the campus corridor, because the majors are different.

Today I have a course Pak Toni, a new math lecturer who was recruited by the University specifically to teach in my class.

Not paying attention to the lecturer I was busy glancing at the seat that used to be worn by Adam, usually if the clock like this we always look at each other and exchange papers, but today the classroom atmosphere feels empty.

After college, I went straight home and did not stop by because the afternoon came home.

After arriving home I went straight to the room, lay down while occasionally staring at the phone screen hoping Adam had contacted.

Adam's estimate of an eighteen-hour journey to America, and now five o'clock in the afternoon means he's only seven hours away.
