Ch. 2 - System
“Hmm, where is this?”
The figure rose to a cross-legged sitting position with a face full of confusion.
“Am I not supposed to be dead?” The figure scratched his head in wonder.
As the figure was digesting the situation that had happened to him, a panel appeared in the air, more precisely in front of him.
[Demon Lord System: Giving you a second life in this world.].

The figure actually did not know anything about an object floating in front of him, but he could make sure the object did not have killing intent.
“My spirit got into this body? Her name? Exactly with me?” The figure widened his eyes in disbelief.
Ling Chen was a Swordsman, in his previous life he was killed just as he was about to pass the final stage which was the Dragon Swordsman. Maybe it all happened because of the immature foundation of his body.

Ling Chen again scratched his head in astonishment, he then looked around only to find the bloody scene he had seen so often.
“If no one creature named system tells me the previous owner of the body died while fighting, it seems to be true.”
Ling Chen tried to check the health condition of his body and ended in disappointment. His body was indeed weak as expected, but Ling Chen had not expected it to be this severe.

“His body is very weak, how can he be a soldier?” Ling Chen sighed softly before standing up from his position.

The sudden appearance of the system made Ling Chen a little surprised but quickly followed his directions.
“Like this?” Ling Chen extended his hand to a nearby Orc Corpse, a large tongue suddenly came out from his palm, wrapped around the corpse to a small piece before pulling it into Ling Chen's hand.

Ling Chen was stunned to see it, at the same time he could feel his bones, muscles, eyes, ears and others becoming stronger than before.
Ling Chen went back to doing that continuously indiscriminately, consuming Orcs, goblins and even humans. In an instant his thin body now turned into a muscular one.

“Impressive, had there been anything like this in my old life, I would not have needed to do physical exercise.”

Ling Chen summoned the system to show the details of this ability. Explained, this ability called 'Snatcher' can only consume something lifeless.
When consuming corpses using this skill, Ling Chen described gaining strength, speed, knowledge, luck to his endurance.

“Huh... I have much to learn about this world.” Ling Chen again asked the system for help to explain the background of the owner of this body, as well as some things he might not have known.

Ling Chen tried to digest all the information he got, after thirty minutes had passed Ling Chen decided to return to his house first rather than continuously standing outside.

When he had just intended to return to his house, Ling Chen could see the gate open, not long before people with full weapons came out from inside the gate.

Ling Chen remembered something that the system explained, he then tried to flow something called Mana throughout his body to cover up his presence. Ling Chen discovered something named Mana that apparently had a resemblance to the Profound Power in the previous world.
“I have to hide first.” Incidentally not far from where it is, there is a blueberry plant.

The soldiers had already reached the location that should have been the battleground of the Orcs with the Conjuring warriors. But none of the bodies they managed to find, instead they found traces of blood that stained the ground.

The soldiers returned to report the matter he had met to their leader.

“Really? Then what can I do.” The commander of the Elite troops named Ergi did not take the dizzy report.
Instead he told his soldiers to turn a blind eye to this incident. Ergi warned them all if anyone leaked this then he would not hesitate to kill him and his family.

“This kingdom is not bad.” Ling Chen played the bag of money he had stolen.
Ling Chen had entered the kingdom, honestly he felt very strange because this kingdom looked very big but nothing was seen passing by at the gate.
Ling Chen continued to walk to look for his house that was out of nowhere, as he continued to walk more and more bags of money he got.
After continuously walking for no apparent purpose, Ling Chen finally decided to first fill his stomach before returning to continue his journey.
