Ch. 26 - Testing the ability
Feeling that ginger water really helped him get rid of the dizziness, Ling also drank the ginger water that was in the teapot, now after drinking ginger water, his body became vit again and did not feel dizzy at all.
Ling then began to finish the food on the push table with his mouth, Ling was lazy to eat from his hands, especially when consuming from his hands, Ling did not feel good or not at all the food, but maybe Ling will use it when eating food friends or maybe his lover who is not good at cooking.
After finishing the meal, Ling put the plate back on the push table.
Yuki smiled then lowered his head in respect before leaving Ling and bringing back the push table.
After eating, Ling immediately got out of her bed and walked to the bath to clean her body.
After Ling finished cleaning himself, Ling also put on his inner disciple clothes and then packed other important things, after making sure the items he carried were complete enough, Ling also came down casually.
Arriving at the first floor, Ling's subordinates are now seen directly dropping one knee down and holding his body with the other leg, they are then also seen putting his hand on their chest.
"Good morning sir." Say one of them, followed by the other.
Ling looked at them in surprise, he felt strange, because all the groups were now in front of Ling while giving respect, the complete members except the leader of the wizard group who still needed to rest because of the wound from Levi.
In the midst of the group, Levi came forward and saluted, then he escorted Ling to the dining table.
Ling just put on a smiley face, she then sat down in her chair then ate her food with her mouth.
Meanwhile, the groups immediately disbanded working on their respective tasks after Levi glanced at them and gave a code to return to their respective work.
Ling ate the food while thinking about the attitude of his subordinates which became more rigid to him, he did not know why they were like that but he then did not think about it and immediately finished his meal.
Simultaneously, Levi and a few other members had already finished preparing a horse for Ling.
Ling walked leisurely outside his residence, then as soon as Ling got outside the door, he glanced at his subordinates and Levi who was in the middle of them, they all looked half bent and then left after Ling climbed his horse.
Before Ling walked out of his residence, he told Levi to be in the residence and taught some basic fighting techniques to Ling's subordinates.
Ling planned to go to the Queen Elder's residence to get the next direction, by asking various places and outer disciples who were in the inner disciple area, as well, Ling finally arrived at the residence of the Queen Elder.
But before Ling entered, two fully armed soldiers immediately confronted him.
"Son, what do you need to do with Elder Queen?" Ask one of the two soldiers.
Ling smiled then got off his horse and said, "Before that, introduce my name is Gronth Ling." Said Ling while holding his fist forward.
The two warriors immediately apologized after hearing Ling's name, they had previously gotten a message from the Queen Elder to allow a disciple named Ling to enter his residence.
Arriving inside the Elder Queen's residence, Ling saw quite a number of book books residing in the residence, and also the residence of the Queen Elder was very spacious compared to the Ling residence, it's just that this residence is not storied.
Ling was escorted to a spacious room, where he was told to wait while being served tea by the waiter, while the soldier immediately bailed to call the Queen Elder.
Not long after, the door opened again and looked a familiar figure to Ling, it was not and was none other than the Queen Elder.
Ling immediately stood up and saluted the Queen Elder.
"Greetings to the Queen Elder." Ling held his fist.
The Queen Elder just chuckled lightly then told Ling to follow her. Ling followed the Queen Elder from behind, and then they reached the backyard of the Queen Elder's house, where there was a pond and there was also a hut in the middle of the river.
Queen then took Ling to the hut, Ling followed her from behind while watching her surroundings, she saw behind the house of the Queen Elder was flattened full filled by the pond, she looked, and also there is only one hut that is quite large in the middle of the pool.
Ling sat down simultaneously with the Queen Elder, they then chatted a few words before Ling then reported something to the Queen Elder.
"By the way, where's Kaito?" Ask the Queen Elder to Sai.
"It's actually one of the reasons I came yesterday Elder Queen." Ling replied with a fake smiling face.
Ling then begins to tell the condition of Kaito, and Ling changes the original story of Levi attacking Kaito into a stranger who enters his residence and injures Kaito, Ling also added that the person was a grudge with Leonardo's family.
"Well, I understand, tonight there will probably be some guards I've assigned to guard your residence, whereas, now let's practice, and also because I'm your guide, I'll give you a basic technique." The Queen Elder stood up.
Ling only smiled and nodded slowly, not long after, the Queen Elder raised his hand and a chunk of ice appeared from within the pond to the surface.
The Queen Elder then jumped on the chunk and told Ling to also ride it, now the chunk of ice looks like a competition arena, Ling understood why behind the courtyard of the Queen Elder was an average of just a pond.
Ling jumped up and landed perfectly on the rocking chunk of ice, making the Queen Elder temporarily startled.
'This child is not a genius, but a genius.' Inner Elder Queen.
Ling looked at the Queen Elder, then he asked, "Older, what am I here for? do you want to try to test my abilities?" Ling actually already knew it, but he kept asking to avoid some things that might be unexpected.
"Yes, exactly what you're guessing, I'll try to test your abilities, after which I'll decide to so give you a defense technique, or maybe another technique." After that, the Queen Elder began to put up his horses.
