Ch. 25 - The Nature of the Curse
Yuki lowered her head in guilt, she had indeed risen in rank to a 3-star silver level. It was just that he had not been able to stabilize the mana energy in his large body, he felt Ling as his master would be disappointed in him. Since Ling had given him a very fast level increase, yet he could be late after being granted that power, Yuki and his group simply bowed their heads to Ling.
Ling Chen was certainly quite upset, he did not particularly like the name boredom, but he understood, the inner disciple was no match for those outer disciples, therefore as his punishment, as well, Ling told them to, "You guys will punish for your delay."
Yuki and his subordinates did not refute, they were ready to accept any punishment from the master, "We are ready to accept the punishment of the master!" Yuki said while looking down and closed his eyes.
"You must cook something delicious now, but in large quantities, and also for the next week you will be in charge of washing all the clothes of all the groups I mean myself." Ling gave the punishment he thought was good enough, he then stood up from his chair and left.
Meanwhile, the group of illusions only smiled faintly with flushed cheeks, Yuki even fantasized about her being the lover of Ling.
A few hours later, the time was now in the middle of the night, but at the Ling residence now still looks crowded with many lights that turn on, and also they were all drinking wine in the Ling residence, but Ling's subordinates did not expect that the master was so strong to drink, Ling was the most visible to drink wine, Ling was the most, ling's subordinates were very surprised to see Ling's drinking skill.
"Three more." Said Ling while thrusting his glass.
"But sir, you've been drinking a lot." Said one of the ladies from the wizard group.
"Huh, please." Ling revealed that adorable face, making the female figure of the wizard group become stunned and involuntarily smiled as she poured the beer back into Ling's glass
Estes immediately stopped her after the lady from the wizard group wanted to re-pour the beer into Ling's glass.
"Quite, this will harm the health of the master, it is better that we carry the master to his room, because upon seeing that master Ling has been drunk from earlier, look, this red cheek." Estes pinched Ling's cheek which looked flushed.
But Estes came back to her senses, she had just taken the cheek from her master, and not long after Estes had pinched Ling's cheek, Ling was standing, her face now looking terrible to Estes, Estes suspected Ling would hit her with her hand, but something unexpected appeared, Ling instead.
Ling grumbled with bulging cheeks, he looked angry, only Ling now looked like a child in everyone's eyes.
"You're this, naughty, I don't want to be friends with you." Ling turned his red face away, he looked like a child who was sulking, especially the way he spoke also changed drastically from before, every time he spoke, he said, his tongue continued to slip and finally made laughter from all of Ling's subordinates.
Ling who heard the laughter from everyone was crying like a child, making some male subordinates laugh at Ling even louder.
Unlike the male subordinates, the women looked at Ling with a feeling of liking, they began to surround Ling, only when a hand came blocking them.
"Stop, I'll take Mr. Ling away to his room, meanwhile you guys clean up the trash and get some rest." One who was none other than the servant of Undead Ling, namely Levi.
"And also you who laugh at me, sir, tomorrow you will face me." Levi glanced at the men laughing at Ling earlier, he also gave a sinister look and also an intimidating aura.
"Sir Levi." Ling hugged Levi from behind suddenly, then he put his head on Levi's shoulder with a smile and closed his eyes, shortly after, a snoring voice suddenly sounded from Ling.
Twenty minutes later. Levi just finished putting Ling in his bed, Levi used all his energy just to hold Ling, in fact he was very difficult to bring Ling from the first floor to the third floor, he said, make Levi have to use all his strength to successfully bring Ling.
'Huh, Mr. Ling is very heavy, even though he looks like a normal human being, but his body has a weight that is beyond reasonable.' Inner Levi while enveloping his master, he then sat for a while under the floor and then stood back up after his breathing improved.
Levi then walked out of Ling's room, intending to head to the living room and do some energy gathering.
When morning arrived, Ling woke up with a head that felt dizzy, he then sat on his mattress while holding his head that still felt dizzy.
'Ukh, my head is so dizzy.' Inner Ling while massaging that head with her right hand.
Not long after the sound of a walking table was heard by Ling's ears that had a distant auditory radar, actually Ling could only hear with a far scope when he activated it, but because he was quite dizzy due to alcohol, his body finally activated the power in Ling's body.
Not long after, the sound of knocking was heard clearly from Ling's room door.
"Sir Ling, are you awake?" From his voice, Ling could tell that it was Yuki's voice.
Ling then inhaled fresh air in his room inside, the goal was to reduce the dizziness in his head, after which Ling also answered the words of Yuki.
"I'm up, come in." Said Ling in a pose that was sitting on her mattress while confirming her blanket to cover half her body again.
Yuki also opened the door slowly, slowly entering with the dining table he was pushing.
Yuki then stopped pushing the dining table right next to Ling's bed, he then opened some food cover, on the table was now seen a chicken then with a white water beside it.
"Before Mr. Ling, you must drink this ginger, this ginger is useful to reduce dizziness due to drinking too much alcohol." Yuki smiled as she poured ginger water from the teapot into a glass, she then picked it up and handed the glass containing ginger water to Ling.
Ling stared at the glass that Yuki had thrust at him for a while, Ling only found out there was a plant called ginger, but Ling was not too suspicious, because Yuki had also done a writing contract with her.
Slowly Ling drank it and then he felt this ginger water makes his body warm, and also Ling stared at the ginger drink carefully, he felt this ginger plant, which is called ginger, the efficacy and taste are the same as the plant named sawol in life once, it's just that in this world the nickname of this plant is different, that's what Ling thought.
