Chapter 222: Lightning V Master Training
Bones began to scatter on the dead ground around the Heavenly Tree, the Dark Spirit watching from earlier smiled faintly as he looked at Ling Chen from a distance.

“You are strong. Also I sense you're not using your other abilities, well rather than making small talk you better be prepared.”

Ling Chen had just finished crushing the last Skeleton Bone, he was still adjusting his breath when he saw the Dark Spirit that was already preparing to attack.

Ling Chen's eyes widened seeing Dark Spirit quickly arrive before him, he immediately lowered his head avoiding the Dark Spirit's black hand swing.

The Dark Spirit who had a quick response did not let Ling Chen retreat unharmed, he swung his legs at Ling Chen's newly lowered face beneath him. Ling Chen who noticed it immediately held back the leg using his Katana.

But it was not fast enough and the power that held it back was not very strong, making Ling Chen bounce along with his Katana. Dark Spirit did not stop until there, his tail which had sharp jaws moved quickly biting Ling Chen.

Ling Chen rolled around to avoid it, it was quite difficult that there were rocks that made his body ache. As he felt it was safe enough Ling Chen immediately stood up and stood by, he glanced left-right in search of his Lightning Katana.

While glancing left-right Ling Chen found his Katana stuck on the ground, just as he wanted to move closer to the Katana, Dark Spirit was already nearby, he lifted up and pointed at Ling Chen.

“Katana is good, but it is better to call it the Sword of Lightning without the hilt. Well even so this Sword is quite powerful.”

Dark Spirit touched the Lightning Katana, smiling as he stroked her. He looked at Ling Chen with a smile.

“I take this Sword, now this Sword belongs to me. You must make another Sword.” Katana, called Sword by Dark Spirit, slowly began to be swallowed by the darkness that spread from the hands of Dark Spirit.

Ling Chen could only cluck in annoyance because to make the Lightning Katana throughout it required three hundred mana circles. Quite a large amount is easily taken by the enemy.

“Troubtful Lightning Sensency.” Ling Chen muttered in annoyance, though as soon as his hand started to emit electricity.

Dark Spirit suddenly dashed towards Ling Chen, but that was when the face of Dark Spirit was seen by Ling Chen, his eyes were fiery red and his skin was as red as flesh! He smiled horribly, revealing his sharp teeth and jaw.

Ling Chen raised his hand towards the approaching Dark Spirit, then from his palm came so much electricity that it struck out, attacking wildly but in only one direction, which was the front.

Dark Spirit tried to dodge the Electricity that was snatching but not all that could be avoided by him. Getting his body hit by a small attack while trying to get close to Ling Chen, when it was close enough to him Dark Spirit jumped up and swung his sword very quickly.

“Explosion!”

The kaboom!

“You gave up?”

Ling Chen did not answer it but rather looked at Dark Spirit coldly, his body started to harden then let out electricity, Dark Spirit was not stupid enough to remain motionless, he immediately jumped away.

Ling Chen did not let it go, he pointed his hand at Dark Spirit then a tongue moved swiftly wrapped around Dark Spirit. The surprised Dark Spirit did not have time to react even more so he was in the air, making him unable to dodge.

While capturing the Dark Spirit the tongue fell along with the Dark Spirit, Ling Chen walked forward while smiling triumphantly. He put his Lightning Katana around his neck then asked.

“You gave up?”

Dark Spirit initially did not accept it, but he ended up sighing heavily then accepting his defeat. Who would have thought that man had a tongue in his hand?

The Lightning Master could only smile in satisfaction when his disciple managed to defeat Dark Spirit, he actually thought his disciple would lose but was also surprised to see his student's intelligence make him win.

After seeing his disciple release the Dark Spirit Master Lightning finally walked up to Ling Chen, while Dark Spirit returned to the Heavenly Tree to retrieve his reward.

“You are a great student Chen!” The Lightning Master patted Ling Chen on the shoulder as it reached behind him.

Ling Chen who received the blow was in pain, he did look fine but he actually got a cut on his shoulder. Not too fatal but due to exposure makes it sick when touched.

He stared coldly at the Lightning Master, before turning his attention to the Dark Spirit who had returned.

“This is the gift I promised.” Dark Spirit handed him a box made of wood, inside which was a single Glass Bottle that stored black energy.
Ling Chen accepted it with pleasure, he took it and removed the box into his dimensional ring. After that I just thanked him. He then looked at the Lightning Master who was beside him.

“Master I'm tired, and look at the day has begun to day light up.” Without realizing it, time has gone by quickly.
ㅤ
The Lightning Master closed his eyes folding both his hands on his chest, he then shook his head slowly while glancing at the Dark Spirit who was still not gone.

“Maybe it's good that you also practice Darkness Technique with him.” The Lightning Master pointed at Dark Spirit by turning his lips.

Ling Chen immediately looked at Dark Spirit who was still not gone, “Please teach me!”

“E-eh? T-no no...”

Dark Spirit was lazy enough to train someone, moreover he was a human. But feeling the powerful killing intent of the Lightning Child made him swallow his saliva. He was finally forced to follow the wishes of the Lightning Child.
