DWP 14: Crystal Chicken
Arriving at the place where the Demon Beast was, the Black Spirit led Jing Yang towards the place where the horde of Crystal Chickens were looking for food.
“Devil's Coming there are five stages. You should know about this. From the first Demon Beast to the King Stage, then the Emperor Stage Demon Beast, the Earth Stage Demon Beast, the Sky Stage Demon Beast and the last one was the God Stage Demon Beast.” The Black Spirit made a protector so that the Crystal Chicken was unaware of Jing Yang's existence.
“Each stage has three levels namely level one, level two and level three.” The Spirit of the Black One added.
"King, Emperor, Earth, Sky and God. In each stage there are three levels namely level one, level two and level three. I remember it, Guru.” Jing Yang responded to the words of the Black Spirit while counting with his finger.
”But, Teacher. I was curious about the difference in the strength of the Demon Beasts who were at the same stage, but the levels were different. Can a lower level Demon Beast defeat a higher one, Master?” Jing Yang asked out of curiosity. For a child her age, Jing Yang was still in the process of growth. However, he still needs the attention and affection of parents. And Jing Yang's surrogate parents were none other than the spirit of the Dragon Goddess or the Black Spirit who was now his teacher.
“I like humans who have traits like you. I'm starting to like your innocence, son of man.” The Spirit of the Black One walked over and pulled Jing Yang's hand to sit on the red colored stone, “Alright I'll explain to you about it too.”
Jing Yang gulped out of curiosity. His eyes looked very enthusiastic and his spirit began to burn.
“For Demon Beasts who are at the same stage but different levels, then the higher level will be stronger.” The Spirit of the Black flicked his finger. Not how long the Green-Hairy Wolf had fallen in front of Jing Yang.
“I'll show you the difference. The Green-Hairy Wolf is a meat-eating animal, while the Crystal Chicken is a worm-eating animal. Who do you think won?” The Black Spirit smiled faintly when he saw Jing Yang's face being attracted by her explanation.
“Sure Green Hairy Wolf will win, Master. Meat-eating animals are the strongest.” Jing Yang replied quickly and smiled widely as he looked at the beautiful face of the Black Spirit.
“Let's see and prove what you say. It does not mean strong. You have to remember that. Sometimes you can fight something that can't be defeated by cooperation. And to do cooperation, you must have a friend,” said the Spirit of the Black.
“Hmm..” Jing Yang muttered softly as he nodded slowly.
“No need many friends. Although a little, as long as they are loyal and accept your shortcomings, then that is enough.” The Black Spirit flicked his finger back. Right after the Black Spirit flicked his finger, the Green Feathered Wolf immediately walked up to the horde of Crystal Chickens.
Jing Yang paid close attention to the fight between the Green Hairy Wolves against the horde of Crystal Chickens.
“The Green Hairy Wolf is at the Emperor Stage of Level One, as well as the Crystal Chicken. These two Demonic Beasts were at the same stage and level.” The Black Spirit explained while observing the fight that had taken place between the Green Hairy Wolf against the horde of Crystal Chickens.
“But meat-eating animals like the Green-Hairy Wolf will definitely win easily against that horde of chickens,” said Jing Yang.
“Look, who among these two Demonic Beasts will survive at the end,” reply the Spirit of the Black One.
The Green Hairy Wolf had managed to injure several Crystal Chickens, but after exchanging attacks for ten minutes, the Crystal Chicken formed a defensive formation.
Seeing that, Jing Yang was shocked. There are seen Crystal Chickens alternately attacking Green Hairy Wolves using spurs. The wounds of the Green-Hairy Wolf were severe, although the Demon Beast was stronger than the Crystal Chicken, but the cooperation of the Crystal Chicken could defeat the Green-Hairy Wolf easily.
Jing Yang gulped in disbelief when he saw the stomach of the Green-Hairy Wolf being torn apart. He shook his head three times before standing up.
“Teacher, cooperation is great,” said Jing Yang excited.
The Black Spirit chuckled at Jing Yang's innocence. Not long after he snapped his finger back to stop the fight.
Basically, the Black Spirit could not cook, even as long as she became the Dragon Goddess, the beautiful woman had no culinary knowledge.
“I can't cook, and Master can't cook either. But the grilled meat that Master burned tasted so good” Jing Yang looked at the face of the Black Spirit who was shocked to hear his words.
“Really? Does the grilled meat I make taste good?” The Black Spirit twinkled his eyes looking at Jing Yang.
“Enak, Teacher. I felt something flowing in my body. And sometimes I feel that there is something great inside my body,” Jing Yang replied as he closed his eyes and recalled the time he ate grilled meat.
The Spirit of the Black One let out a long sigh after hearing Jing Yang's last words, “That is the efficacy of the flesh of that Demon Beast, son of man,” Inner Spirit of the Black One. Then he looked at Jing Yang who looked very appreciative of him. Even during her time as a spirit, the Dragon Goddess had never thought of nurturing a human child.
The Spirit of the Black is the name he gave to himself for having become an immortal spirit. After she did not become the Dragon Goddess anymore. The beautiful woman looked at Jing Yang's face which was also staring at her with her two plain eyeballs.
The Black Spirit smiled at him. Then he went back to explaining to Jing Yang about the Spirit Beast and Demon.
“There are two out of three other creatures besides the Demon Beast. You should also remember this.” The Spirit of the Black One looked at Jing Yang as he explained, ”Beings that have lived from the days of the Gods, they are not Demonic Beasts. The two beasts were Spirit Beasts and Demons. Their world is also different.”
Jing Yang nodded slowly, “What's the difference between the two creatures, Teacher?” Then Jing Yang looked at the face of the Black Spirit who was explaining to him the difference between a Spirit Beast and a Demon.
“Spirit Animals are...” The Black Spirit explained to Jing Yang that the Spirit Beast was a beast that could speak like a human, and surely the power of a Spirit Beast exceeded that of a Tier Three God Stage Demon Beast if a Spirit Beast awakened its entire potential.
“A Level One Demon Emperor Stage Beast alone is already like this, I can't imagine if I saw the power of a Spirit Beast or a Tier Three God Stage Demon Beast.” Jing Yang scrunched his forehead after saying so.
The Black Spirit laughed amusedly at Jing Yang's expression, “Then from that you don't have to imagine it, you'll even get dizzy yourself. You only have to grow strong to fight directly against the two creatures,” said the Spirit of the Black One.
“True also words, Guru.” Jing Yang scratched his head while smiling awkwardly.
Then the Black Spirit again explained about the Demon to Jing Yang.
“Just like a Spirit Beast that can speak, a Demon can also speak. However there was a huge difference between a Spirit Beast and a Demon. You could say this is the advantage of Demon.” The Black Spirit stopped his words as it looked at Jing Yang's face which looked extremely curious.
“What's the difference, Guru?” Jing Yang immediately asked out of curiosity. Meanwhile the Black Spirit chuckled at hearing it.
“Siluman can change form or become human or demon.” Jing Yang's face was shocked to hear the words of the Black Spirit.
“Just like humans, Spirit Beasts and Demons are also good and some are evil. All back to themselves.” The Spirit of the Black One added while standing up.
“Now is your time to fight against the Crystal Chicken. After that I will teach you how to absorb the core of the Demon Gem that is in the body of the Demon Beast,”, The Black Spirit told Jing Yang.
“Good, Master.” Jing Yang replied as he stood on a red rock and walked up to the Black Spirit that was walking in front of him.
