DWP 251 - Battle of Rongma VIII

Jing Yang regulated his breath flow as the Qi that Yue Wang gave him disappeared. Realizing that he had already exceeded his limits, Jing Yang smiled. He did not expect himself to be able to kill ten thousand troops of the Ma Empire, but along with that Jing Yang recalled the words of the King of Hell that his future figure would be more vile than this.

“In the end I was just a more rotten gymnast than Mao Gang.” Jing Yang stared at Yong Xiang's lifeless body.

Then Jing Yang turned his eyes to Xue Bingyue's fight against Kai Xuexuan. The fight was both balanced because both Xue Bingyue and Kai Xuexuan both used snow and ice as their attacks.

It was not easy for Kai Xuexuan to maintain the balance of his attack plot after seeing for himself how Fan Bao and Yong Xiang died in Jing Yang's hands. The deaths of the two dealt a crushing blow to Kai Xuexuan who was now facing off against Xue Bingyue.

Xue Bingyue's ability exceeded Kai Xuexuan's expectations. At first Kai Xuexuan thought he could kill Xue Bingyue, but after making the exchange of attacks Kai Xuexuan finally realized that Xue Bingyue had an assortment of attacks that he had never seen before.

“I didn't think I found a beautiful ice diamond in this place. If only this situation had benefited me, I would have taken you away from here.” Kai Xuexuan smiled wryly when he found out Xue Bingyue had a special body condition.

Kai Xuexuan knew this when the chill coming out from Xue Bingyue's body was so unnatural that Xue Bingyue's ability was equivalent to her even surpassing her.

“What are you saying? I'm not interested in you!” Xue Bingyue played the Snow Sword Suxue with a beautiful gesture. Each of his slashes was powerful and gave a crushing attack to Kai Xuexuan who manipulated his body aura into ice forming a defense.

Xue Bingyue smashed every ice defense Kai Xuexuan had before finally, a blizzard blew her body backwards. The situation of Xue Bingyue herself was arguably difficult to defeat Kai Xuexuan because she felt like she was dealing with herself.

‘He can crush my ice defense easily.’ Kai Xuexuan finally chose to keep his distance, but Xue Bingyue shortened their distance while launching a scythe-shaped slash.

Kai Xuexuan flicked his finger the instant the ice wall appeared before him protecting himself from Xue Bingyue's sword slash. Furthermore Kai Xuexuan manipulated the aura of his body creating an ice spear and moving it in the air.

Xue Bingyue fended off the ice spear thrust with her sword before replying with a deadly sharp slash. His slash hit Kai Xuexuan's chest, although not deep but gave a special effect to their fight.

The attack made Kai Xuexuan's defense weaken as Xue Bingyue increasingly aggressively launched her attack. Xue Bingyue's movement after movement left Kai Xuexuan stunned, but her sense of envy disappeared upon learning how painful it was to be hit by a sword slash with such a beautiful and graceful move.

“Dance Snow Fairy!”

This time Xue Bingyue went into Kai Xuexuan's ice defense even deeper. Other than being more dangerous as Kai Xuexuan's ice weapon flew in the air, Xue Bingyue realized there were hundreds of needles that Kai Xuexuan had prepared as a surprise attack.

Xue Bingyue played her sword quickly. After releasing a single slash that shattered Kai Xuexuan's ice spear and ice sword, as quickly as possible Xue Bingyue moved back by twisting her body creating a snow vortex that threw down Kai Xuexuan's sharp needles.

Xue Bingyue noticed Kai Xuexuan's thinly smiling countenance. And a little while later he realized that there were about five needles stuck in his body.

“The ice poison will make it difficult for you to control the aura of body-” Kai Xuexuan did not finish his words and his mouth gaping to see the five ice needles stuck in Xue Bingyue's body burning.

“This ability?” Xue Bingyue herself had only realized that her body aura was beginning to develop. Perhaps it was because he had passed the Fire Torture Method, that he was able to unleash the fire element from the aura of his body unconsciously.

“This is impossible! An ice practitioner can use fire?!” Kai Xuexuan reflexively kept his distance as the ground before him froze.

Xue Bingyue herself did not give up the opportunity to let go when the slash to Kai Xuexuan who had just cornered her.

“That's it, I understand. So what about the Sword Spirit? Didn't you resurrect him?” Xue Bingyue guessed Jing Yang's actions.

I want to learn that in order to control this troublesome inner power.” Jing Yang realized Qi was more efficient at controlling his strength and creating a move.

Jing Yang himself assumed that he could only use Hell's Gluttony and Echoes twice using his inner power. However with Qi, he was very confident that he could use Gluttony or Hell Echoes as much as five times or even more.

“I've guessed it. And look, he seems to be very wary of you.” Xue Bingyue smiled faintly before disappearing from Jing Yang's sight and moving into a paraded place so close to Kai Xuexuan.

“I'm like seeing Yueyue practice.” Jing Yang himself took the fight between Xue Bingyue and Kai Xuexuan seriously. Every now and then he noticed how Kong Taiha had been pushed from various directions as the man faced off against Tao Qiaoli, Hua Ying, Mei Hua, Qiao Xi, Chu Yui and Bai Xianlin.

You could say Kong Taiha's condition was very bad because it was attacked from various directions. Moreover, Chu Yui and Bai Xianlin were only helping from afar.

For the first time Jing Yang felt frightened when he saw the people closest to him following his orders to kill others. It was as if he was looking at the shadow of his past and it made Jing Yang's body repeatedly tremble.

Jing Yang hid those feelings when he saw Xue Bingyue manage to corner Kai Xuexuan. Xue Bingyue's attacks grew sharper and sharper, while Kai Xuexuan's monotonous attacks seemed meaningless before Xue Bingyue.

In a short time Xue Bingyue managed to destroy Kai Xuexuan's ice defense and made the man move quickly away from him.

Xue Bingyue poured her profound energy into the Suxue Snow Sword before finally a large sharp thorn began to appear skyward in pursuit of Kai Xuexuan.

“This little girl is dangerous!” Kai Xuexuan cursed from seeing Xue Bingyue's beautiful and sweet appearance but it was very different from the fight that the young girl had fought.

There was no gap for Kai Xuexuan to escape when Jing Yang had already confronted him. It was easy enough for Jing Yang to intimidate a frightened person with her.

“Don't act like a loser! Escape? Is this the thing that the swordsman of the Single Demon Lantern did after an all-out fight?!” Jing Yang pointed the Gravity Sword at Kai Xuexuan.

“You have won! Aren't you compassionate?!” Kai Xuexuan put on a deteriorating look on his face when he saw Xue Bingyue behind him. Now he had no room to escape after Jing Yang confronted him from the front and Xue Bingyue confronted him from behind.

“Considerate? People like you talk about compassion! No kidding! You have taken away someone's happiness and harassed my people! Death is something you deserve!” Jing Yang stared coldly at Kai Xuexuan and made Kai Xuexuan break out in a cold sweat.

“Yangyang, can I finish him?” Xue Bingyue herself could already see Kai Xuexuan had run out of sense against her.

“You've held it well, Yueyue. The rest leave it to me, you don't have to dirty your hands to kill this fucking asshole!” Jing Yang flicked his sword before shortening his distance to Kai Xuexuan.

Seeing that Xue Bingyue let out a long sigh, “You always act at will. At least I want to show you my skills.”

Jing Yang laughed softly, “You've grown Yueyue. Honestly, you exceeded my expectations.”

Kai Xuexuan exclaimed in annoyance that before the thirteen-year-old boy he was completely helpless.

Jing Yang released a single slash that Kai Xuexuan held back with an ice sword. The two stared intently at each other before Kai Xuexuan finally realized that Jing Yang's sword slash contained absolutely no inner power or bodily aura.

“It's easy-"

“Easy? By knowing the condition of my body, you will still not be able to defeat me. I'll straighten your mind out.” Jing Yang released slash after slash at Kai Xuexuan.

Although Kai Xuexuan was able to fend him off, Kai Xuexuan realized that something was different from Jing Yang's swordplay.

‘This is weird? He was exhausted of his inner strength and aura, yet was still able to fight like this? I can't believe his physical strength is this big?!’ Kai Xuexuan welcomed Jing Yang's sword slash until he forgot about Xue Bingyue's whereabouts.

“Are you not aware?” Jing Yang released a single slash using his power and made Kai Xuexuan take a hit back touching the ground.

“What do you mean?!” Kai Xuexuan looked at the low-flying Jing Yang and stood before him.

“I completely crossed the limit of my ability..” Jing Yang felt himself having a hard time recovering his inner strength due to the fight he was doing.

“Your opponent is not just me. That's what I wanted to tell you.” Jing Yang smiled faintly as Kai Xuexuan's eyes widened and turned his head back.

Xue Bingyue closed her eyes and released a large amount of coldness freezing Kai Xuexuan's body.

Jing Yang unblinkingly released a single slash that took Kai Xuexuan's life.

“Yangyang, you owe me. You took the life of my enemy.” Xue Bingyue pouted as Jing Yang cut off Kai Xuexuan's head.

“There are still many enemies stronger than him.” Jing Yang sheathed the Gravity Sword and walked over to Xue Bingyue who was sheathing the Suxue Snow Sword.

“With this, the Ma Empire will think twice about attacking the Jiang Empire.” Jing Yang smiled faintly at Xue Bingyue.

Xue Bingyue replied with a smile. Xue Bingyue had never expected Jing Yang to be this far-sighted.

The two turned their gazes to stare at the final fight in Rongma.

“It looks like the battle is over.” Xue Bingyue saw clearly Kong Taiha was pressed and her body was wrapped with a number of wounds.
