DWP 44: Peach Flower Palace
A few days had passed, the journey of Jing Yang, Ye Xiaoya along with Mei Hua, Qiu Mei and Yi Yue could be said to be walking without any meaningful obstacles. Several times they met the Beast-controlled Beast Beast Party who were rioting in small towns. However Jing Yang, Mei Hua and Qiu Mei could handle it easily. Because of what they were facing the Beast Stage Fighter.
Even after six days after Jing Yang and Ye Xiaoya left Xuedong City, they had finally reached a resident settlement living under the mountain peak of the residence of the Peach Flower Palace.
Indeed the residence of the Peach Flower Palace was on top of the mountain. The Peach Flower Palace was a white sect whose members were all female. In the past, the Peach Flower Palace had such strong ties to Moon Snow Island that they were willing to accommodate female warriors from Moon Snow Island.
Arriving at the crosswalk. Jing Yang looked at the grim-looking faces of the villagers, as well as the shipowners who looked reluctant to sail. After Mei Hua and Qiu Mei asked the residents who lived around the crossing it turned out that in the river there were Level Three Earth Demon Beasts, Iron Saw Fish and Golden Horned Crocodiles. The two Demonic Beasts had only inhabited the river a few hours ago.
“Yang, can you take care of it?” Ye Xiaoya swallowed the beef, then asked Jing Yang who was standing beside Mei Hua and Qiu Mei.
“Can, Teacher. The two of them will be my training companions to control the aura when walking on water.” Jing Yang looked enthusiastic and moved at a speed that was heading towards the waters of the river.
Mei Hua and Qiu Mei looked at each other. They were both curious about Jing Yang's identity. Other than being younger than them, Jing Yang also looked to have a higher tier than them. So Mei Hua and Qiu Mei chose to ask Ye Xiaoya.
“Senior Ye Xiaoya, is Jing Yang capable of fighting those two Demonic Beasts?” Mei Hua asked as she looked at Jing Yang who started walking on the water.
“Two of you just look..” Ye Xiaoya replied as she observed Jing Yang.
‘He is my grandson. I want to say hello, has he forgotten me?’ Yi Yue watched Jing Yang with teary eyes.
Jing Yang started running on the water and released a huge murderous aura. All the villagers were looking at Jing Yang from the edge. When the river waves started to rise, all the villagers were terrified. Some of them actually insulted Jing Yang for allegedly deliberately looking for trouble with the two freshwater lords
The river looked like it had split for a moment when the Iron Saw Fish and the Golden Horned Crocodile appeared simultaneously attacking Jing Yang. There was a huge roar and energy from the two Demonic Beasts.
Jing Yang began to take the sword he had stored in the Ring of Gods. When his right hand grasped the Gravity Sword, Jing Yang started playing it and attacked the Iron Saw Fish first.
Jing Yang's sword clashed with the fish's head that was shaped like a saw. Jing Yang and the Iron Saw Fish began to exchange attacks. The sound of the attack was both very loud and echoed to the corners of the village that lived near the river that was commonly used to cross. The river was a shortcut to the Peach Flower Palace.
The Iron Sawfish swam and jumped from the water. The waves generated from the Iron Saw Fish made Jing Yang jump backwards to avoid the Iron Saw Fish attack.
Meanwhile the Golden Horned Crocodile who had been silent began to open his mouth and release dense water balls from his mouth. The explosion in the river occurred as Jing Yang played his sword to fend off the attack launched by the Golden Horned Crocodile.
The villagers, Mei Hua, Qiu Mei and Yi Yue clucked in awe at Jing Yang's fight. Jing Yang's swordplay and his every move were mesmerizing and made all pairs of eyes directed at every jump and attack Jing Yang launched.
“Strade Technique In A Glove.” Jing Yang sheathed his sword slowly as the Iron Saw Fish was about to pierce his body, “Gravity Explosion!”
Jing Yang's slash was extremely fast and cut the Iron Saw Fish's body into two pieces. The river water split open and made quite a big wave as the river water suddenly overflowed regarding everyone who saw Jing Yang fight.
“Next your turn, Golden Horned Crocodile..” Jing Yang said softly, with a faint smile and pulled his sword back.
The Golden Horned Crocodile began to launch the same attack as before. The explosions from the balls continued to avoid Jing Yang with his agile movements.
Jing Yang quickly drenched his aura and inner power into his blade. The Jing Yang Sword was surrounded by an extremely gripping aura and was filled with sword energy.
“Gravity Sword Technique: Six Crossroads!”
Jing Yang instantly slashed his sword to cleave the Golden Horned Crocodile along with the river on which it stood. The Golden Horned Crocodile's body had yet to dive back into the river his body had been split into two parts, while the impact of Jing Yang's sword slash made the river split into six pieces of sword slash.
All the villagers were silent for a long time. Even Mei Hua, Qiu Mei and Yi Yue were unceasingly made to clack in awe with Jing Yang's swordplay.
Because the Peach Flower Palace was close. Ye Xiaoya immediately continued her journey towards the Peach Flower Palace. Before crossing the river by boat, Ye Xiaoya told the locals to take part of the Iron Sawfish or the Golden Horned Crocodile.
Ye Xiaoya could have flown through the river, but he had his own habits. In addition there were Mei Hua, Qiu Mei and Yi Yue who walked with him, so Ye Xiaoya chose to row the boat quickly, without paying or borrowing the boats belonging to the villagers. Jing Yang walked across by walking on the water. In his right hand were two Demon Gems belonging to the Iron Saw Fish and the Golden Horned Crocodile.

A large gate with flower carvings welcomed their arrival. The atmosphere around the residence of the Peach Flower Palace was very calm. Two female warriors guarded the gate with swords neatly sheathed on her waist.
“Junior, you've finally returned. Where are the others?” The woman who was guarding the gate greeted Mei Hua.
Mei Hua's face looked sad. The girl explained as short as she could to the swordsman who asked her. After hearing Mei Hua's story, the two warriors guarding the gate invited Mei Hua, Qiu Mei, Yi Yue and Ye Xiaoya to enter the residence of the Peach Flower Palace, but not with Jing Yang.
According to the rules, only the Sect Chief had the right to determine whether a man was allowed to enter or not into the residence of the Peach Flower Palace.
Mei Hua and Qiu Mei explained to the two female warriors guarding the gate about the identities of Ye Xiaoya and Jing Yang. The two looked surprised by the story of Mei Hua and Qiu Mei.
“Sorry, but rules are rules. Brother Jing Yang please wait outside.” Speak the swordsman who guards the gate.
“You get Miss Yi inside. Me and my students will be waiting here.” Ye Xiaoya said to Mei Hua, while taking something out of her pocket, ”Give this to Elder Xue Lihua and Sect Chief of Peach Flower Palace.”
Ye Xiaoya gave me a piece of letter paper on Mei Hua. Then he sat under the tree with Jing Yang.
“Junior will pass this on to Elder Xue Lihua.” Mei Hua saluted Ye Xiaoya before entering the residence of the Peach Flower Palace. Qiu Mei also saluted Ye Xiaoya before following Mei Hua from behind and being followed by Yi Yue.
