Episode 26 [Stuck]

Luis gnashing. His hand felt a sense of where he fell asleep that felt moist and hard. Slowly his eyes opened, his blue sapphire netra stared at the dark ceiling of Goa with some bats perched upside down there—you know how bats sleep?

"You're up"

Luis's attention turned to look at Eugene sitting opposite him, he smiled knots, then threw back the firewood on the burning fire.

Luis tried to sit himself down. It was a bit difficult to do that because his body felt a pain.

"How long have I fainted?"

Luis asked briefly. The thing he wanted to know the most was the time wasted because he fainted.

"Two years,"

Flinched, the prince widened his eyes to look at Eugene who replied with a flat face signifying seriousness in his speech.

"D..two years?"

Luis said, repeating Eugene's words earlier. He never thought he would faint for that long, he thought Luis had only fainted for at least three days.

But it turned out to be two years.

'How's this? I fainted too long. How is the government? Mom and dad, do they know I was missing that long? Was I rumored to have died? Friends and Cordelia must be worried, what should I do now?'

Luis began to get agitated at what steps he had to take. Along with the burden of the thought, the sound of laughter from Eugene sounded.

"Fttt!!hahaa!! You're so funny, pftttt!! Look at that face hahaha."

Luis gawking. Unable to understand why Eugene was even laughing as he was perplexed by his current situation. Eugene who was still laughing rubbed the tip of his eyes that let out a few tears, the first time Luis saw his upperclassman laughing freely.

"I'm kidding stupid. You only fainted for three days,"

"Hhhh!?"

He exclaimed. Staring at Eugene who snorted briefly.

"You haven't fainted for two years, you've only fainted for three days and we're stuck here"

Massaging his temple for a moment Luis was grateful that he hadn't fainted for two years, but the fact that Eugene had spoken made him dizzy again.

"You have to change your sense of humor, Eugene, and why are we stuck here? Wasn't Shi Yun looking for help back then?"

Silent. No response from Eugene. The sound of water dripping from the stone supported the quiet atmosphere between the two men.

Luis' academy fresh clothes were torn on his back—the fruit he reaped from Ahool's attack last time.

Eugene's right arm was also injured, he also had blood stains and bandages there. Emergency bandages using his shirt, all medical equipment was in Shi Yun so Eugene could not use that. So at this time Eugene was not wearing his upper clothes, revealing the abdominal muscles he had.

'I envy that muscle,'

Eugene sighed before he explained what happened to Luis.

"After you've finished doing the blue fire explosion, I take you away because the winged monster is bringing more of its friends. I ran away according to what you asked, but as I ran deeper into the forest all of a sudden the fog appeared making my visibility decrease"

Eugene paused his words for a moment. He threw the wood back on the fire, letting it burn created warmth in the damp cave.

"I ran in no direction until I finally found this cave and entered. When I entered, the monsters forced themselves to enter but because of their large bodies they ended up just crashing into the door of the cave which caused the stones on top of the cave to come down closing the door.

That's why we're stuck here,"

His eyes glanced. He stared at Eugene's appearance which was not good—how not? His face is thin like not eating for days, well, it's true that in this trapped condition he must not eat anything.

"What did Brother Eugene eat during these three days?"

"I have a food supply" Eugene paused his words, then showed a shabby brown bag of empty sack leaping as if losing all its contents.

"But it's over now"

Luis said a short 'ah' then nodded in understanding. Thank goodness if the senior had something to eat, he was afraid that he would starve at this time.

Luis stared at the necklace hanger he was using. It was a potion made by William, he purposely made it a necklace hanger so that it was easy to carry.

'Luckily this isn't ruined,'

The bottle is open. Luis immediately drank it to heal the wounds and pain he was feeling right now, after he drank it all the pain was instantly gone.

"We can't get out of here" Eugene said in a stern tone. His hand greeted Luis' hand which pulled him to his feet.

"We can get out" Luis said confidently making Eugene frown.

"How?"

Again a smile was engraved on Luis' face. He pointed towards the bracelet he was wearing, then spoke proudly.

"Bracelet from my future wife can help!"

After claiming Cordelia as his future wife in front of Eugene, Luis proudly walked in the lead to the cave door that was still closed.

Luis doesn't explain his plan to get out of there to Eugene, he just says to come along and watch and Eugene obeys him in annoyance.

"Hey, what exactly do you want to do?"

Eugene asked curiously. He noticed Luis, who had been fiddling with the bead bracelet he was using, looked strange to him.

"Searching for something that can help us,"

Luis replied without bothering to look at the senior. He was focusing on his bracelet, looking for the location of the seal that he believed was there.

'Where the hell is that writing!!?'

Because it took a long time for Luis to get upset himself. Though he was sure the bracelet had a small seal inscribed between his blue beads, but somehow Luis never found the inscription even though he had sharpened his sense of sight.

Eugene stared at Luis flatly. His brain was thinking of something as his netra ruby stared at the figure of the underclassmen who had recently disturbed his mind. More in the direction of annoying.

'Does he really know?'

The memory of a few days ago came back to his mind. The memory of the contents of his conversation with the head of the organization Yula who holds his secret rope so that it makes him the 'material' of the madness of the chairman.

Yula said something that made Eugene speechless.
