Chapter 33 [Is This Reunion?]

"A—Shan?"

Hansoo's voice trembled as he looked at Luis sitting on the patient's bed with Cordelia next to him. Cordelia is a nurse in the infirmary, and by some chance she is the one who takes care of Luis and Eugene after more than four days of disappearance.

Neutra like Hansoo's Amethyst jewel glazed over, he ran into Luis' arms crying loudly like a child who had met his father again.

"Yahwaa!! You fooler! Stupid prince! Why did you get lost in the woods!? I thought you weren't coming back, stupid Shan!"

Luis just smiled knotty. It was moved to see Hansoo who was so worried about her that she cried like this.

Netra Blue sapphire Luis looked at William and Suchan who approached him, he smiled at the two of them who were now even participating in his tears—although Suchan looked timid when his eyes were clearly crying.

"I know you're safe,"

William said softly. He patted Luis on the shoulder, now wrapped in white bandages.

"What are you doing in that forest? Exterminate monsters to their roots?"

That mocking-sounding remark came from Suchan. He pulled up the chair there, then sat down next to Luis.

Again Luis could only chuckle. Hansoo had already let go of his embrace and now he was sitting next to Luis.

"Ah—thank you for treating me Cordelia"

Luis said, not forgetting to thank the idol. Cordelia had puffy eyes, crying loudly in Luis' arms a few minutes ago in shock at the prince's return with a wounded body.

Luis' disappearance also affected Cordelia. He was worried all day, thinking about the condition of his friend who was rumored to disappear by the head of the organization.

Cordelia believes Luis will return home safely. He had given Luis his precious bracelet, so Luis must have been protected by his precious objects.

Waiting was the only thing Cordelia could do all this time. He was always waiting, even when four days had passed him he was still waiting.

Until then on the fifth day in the afternoon, a commotion broke out at the academy gate showing a man Cordelia knew as her upperclassman.

Eugene came out of the woods. With bare chest and wounds all over his body.

"Please! Luis—dia was unconscious for three days!"

Cordelia and several health workers on duty immediately secure the unconscious Eugene and Luis. The first handling was left to Cordelia and some of her friends. Due to Cordelia's good medical skills, she can handle the wounds on Luis and Eugene's body well with her other friends.

"We will report this to the head of the OASIS organization, please take care of the two of them"

Cordelia nodded in understanding with the orders from her upperclassmen. He stays in the infirmary, waiting for Luis to wake up and Eugene to fall asleep.

His eyes began to glaze over. He was grateful to see Luis who was still breathing despite returning with wounds on his body.

"Really, thank you god"

Cordelia doesn't believe in a god, but if Luis's salvation was a miracle given by a god then she'd start believing it.

Flinched, Cordelia looked at Luis' moving hand. Marking the prince who woke up, then his two beautiful eyeballs opened slowly.

"Cordelia?"

The first word Luis said was Cordelia's name. She smiled sweetly, displaying the face that Cordelia had missed lately.

The heat began to run through the girl's body. In his embrace was Luis' body, which was now sitting on the patient's bed. Luis blinked, not expecting Cordelia to hold him while sobbing.

But on the other hand he was grateful for pretending to be unconscious and injured. So she can be cared for and embraced by Cordelia.

"So you were trapped in a cave because of the monster attack and you ended up stuck there without being able to get out after four days had passed so?"

Luis ended his daydream that drifted away reminiscing about the moment of his arms and Cordelia. Now her gaze turned to look at Suchan who repeated the explanation from Luis about the situation they were in.

Luis nodded in response. Well—what he explained was not wrong, only he cut the original incident a little and replaced it with a little lie.

"Yes, the injuries I have are also due to the monster's attack. They are strong, my brother Eugene and I haven't been able to defeat them all"

Moreover, the monster that fought Luis was an unknown monster.

"It's okay that it's important that you survive"

Suchan said sage—for the first time it sounded strange as she behaved so.

William nodded in agreement with Suchan's words. He was so grateful that Luis came home safely.

"I don't want to interrupt your reunion, but enough you know I'm a victim here too"

The one who spoke in such an annoyed tone was Eugene. He awakens from his sleep because of the disturbing voices of Luis' friends.

"Sir Eugene, thank goodness you survived too. Thank you for taking care of Shan"

William spoke politely and respectfully. He even slightly lowered his head to Eugene.

Eugene scratched the back of his non-itchy head. He felt awkward about receiving good treatment from Luis' friend, even though he had wanted to kill Luis.

"Ekhem, it's okay. It's my job as a senior to protect her"

William and Cordelia looked at Eugene with amazed gazes while Suchan and Hansoo looked suspiciously at Eugene.

"Aren't seniors good like this?"

It's Hansoo. He spoke while draping his hands together on his chest, in disbelief at Eugene's quite friendly demeanor.

"I think he's the annoying, mean senior type"

Just this time Suchan and Hansoo were in the same boat. They agreed to suspect Eugene's suspicious attitude.

Eugene clenched his hands in annoyance, wanting him to beat up the two younger siblings of his class but he abandoned his intentions because he remembered that the two were Luis's best friends.

"You guys don't be like that. Even so, but Eugene's sister is good"

Luis said briefly. Defending Eugene's story.

Suchan and Hansoo were surprised, they did not think Luis would defend him.

"If Luis has said that, then you are good"

Suchan instantly changed his gaze on Eugene. He trusts Luis a lot, so if Luis says he's good then he'll be good.

It is different with Hansoo. The Harpi was still looking at Eugene suspiciously, she felt an Awkwardness at her senior self.

Eugene ignored the probing gaze Hansoo directed at him. Too lazy to deal with his underclassman, so he chose to ignore it.

"Thank you, your name is Cordelia, right?"

Eugene smiled knots at Cordelia who had already changed her bandage. Cordelia nodded confirming, she was a bit strange when she was known by a big sister like Eugene. Moreover, Eugene was the second strongest disciple in the academy.

'If he's Cordelia means the man Luis said was his future wife's child, right?'

Eugene's gaze turned to look at Luis who was talking to his two friends. A mischievous smile was seen on Eugene's face, he wanted to prank Luis using Cordelia.

"Hey Cordelia's. Did you know when we were in cave Luis said you—"

"AAA—So Eugene has to sleep again, you're in a lot of pain right!? Sleep again, we won't disturb your sleep!"

Luis immediately put Eugene to bed, their mattress next to him so he could push Eugene backwards. Because Eugene's strength had not fully recovered, he was pushed easily by Luis.

"Luis you!—"

"Oh, sorry. Am I interrupting?"

The attention of everyone who was there was immediately drawn to the voice of a man who had just opened the door. It was Yula, she came with a smile on her face.

'Damn it'

The smile that gave Eugene goosebumps upon seeing it.
