Chapter 32 [Back to the academy]

"That's all I asked for. Please protect my mother from any danger"

Luis fell silent after hearing the outline of Eugene's life story tied to Yula. He understood why Eugene was willing to take the order to kill him. If he was in Eugene's position Luis would do the same.

"In addition to killing me, what else did Chief Yula ever tell you? No, what did Chief Yula do to you?"

"He used my blood as an experimental substance"

"What's the mutant monster experiment?"

Luis asked spontaneously making Eugene flinch over it.

"How do you know?"

Eugene's gaze probed, a second later he understood what Luis had meant.

"Crazy. Did that monster create chaos in the future!?"

Eugene exclaimed, still staring at Luis demanding an answer. Luis only nodded briefly confirming Eugene's words.

"It should happen in a year. Just as you passed the mutant monsters attacking the academy made the atmosphere become chaotic for a while"Luis paused his speech for a moment. He stared straight at Eugene's Rubi.

"But since I messed with Yula's plan, it's possible that it would happen sooner. It could be that the monster is messing with the academy now or it will happen in a few days"

Eugene nodded in understanding. He fell silent, contemplated the situation and tried to think about the plan that Yula might have.

"The number of monsters is many but the most powerful is only one and my blood is used for that monster. I don't know about the other monsters, but for sure the big monster hasn't reached the perfection stage yet. It will still take at least half a year to make that monster a real mutant with my blood,"

Evidently Eugene was long. He was again silent waiting for an answer from Luis who now began to formulate his plan.

The sound of rain stopped. Now they only hear the drops of water falling on the rock in the cave, accompanying their serious thinking time.

"Although she is not perfect yet but Yula will definitely use that monster when she is desperate. We have to go back to the academy now"

Luis started to stand up. Preparing to return to the academy he had already left behind for a few days. Eugene stared at Luis briefly, not sure if he was going back there.

He was afraid of Yula's gaze which he would accept later for failing to kill Luis.

Noticing the senior's uneasiness, Luis approached him. His hands stretched out, patting Eugene's shoulders briefly then smiling thinly with a confident face.

"It's okay, I'll protect you. Just trust me,"

Eugene gave a brief snort. It was unexpected that he would entrust his problem to a shitty underclassman just because he was from the future. Luis's hand slapped Eugene's shoulder. He stood up straight, displaying his face which was now smiling confidently.

"Heh, don't be so cool just because you know so little about the future"

His voice sounded mocking, but Luis knew Eugene had no ill intentions when he said that.

"I'll explain our plan now, listen carefully"

Eugene gave a short nod, he began to sharpen his sense of hearing catching the sound of Luis speaking.

They can't just go back to the academy. Yula must have done another plan and it could have put Luis' friends at the academy at risk. Therefore Luis thought of a plan, to engineer the real events and expose Yula's rot in the academy.

It won't be easy. Thinking about Yula's clever brain must be hard to trap, but Yula is nothing compared to Luis who has a lot of experience and a plan.

Luis smiled as he finished telling Eugene his plan. Luis' smile seemed contagious, as Eugene also smiled in the same way as Luis.

"You're smart, but you're desperate, too,"

"I take that as a compliment. Let's go back"

In that spacious enough dorm room, a soot-haired man fell silent in thought. Thinking about where if his best friend disappeared for four days did not appear.

Want to curse the upperclassman who had defeated his best friend but the upperclassman was also missing, along with Luis who never returned.

"Aragh!! Where the hell is Shan going!? Why is he missing!!"

Shouting in frustration, the soot-haired man violently beat the dormitory wall. Fortunately he did not use his strength, because if he did then the wall would have been destroyed.

William, Luis' best friend with long brown hair, advises Hansoo for the umpteenth time today. Hansoo unceasingly hit the wall with a frustrated face, which upset William to see him.

"But I'm upset!! Why aren't we allowed to come look for Shan and instead be told to wait!!? What if Shan gets hurt again in there!"

Because Hansoo's emotions can't control him. He was cross-legged on the bed, looking at William sitting in his study chair with an annoyed look.

"I don't believe in the head of the OASIS organization, he looks suspicious just like the upperclassman Shan defeated in sword class"

Just one day when Luis was declared missing, Yula announced it to her fellow hostel friends.

Yula conveys a sad message for Luis's disappearance due to the sudden attack of nighttime monsters. The missing victim is not just Luis. Some of his other friends also disappeared, but only Luis and Eugene did not meet even when the fourth day had passed.

The royal party was not informed of Luis' disappearance. That's because he hasn't been missing for a whole week, if it's been a whole week then the kingdom itself will be looking for him.

William lowered his face staring at the shiny wooden floor with a flat gaze. He always thinks about the many options of what happened to Luis that have kept him from coming back. Of course the option of dying in the hands of monsters he scribbled from the start. He believed Luis could defeat many monsters just from seeing his powerful strength so it was impossible for him to die by monsters.

Sighing in resignation, William could only pray to the gods to protect his friend and let him return to them. He also hopes that the potion he gives can be useful for Luis there.

The attention of the two men who were in turmoil as if it had been decided by the lover turned towards the door that opened violently, displaying the figure of the red-haired man they knew.

Suchan set his roaring breath, it was clear he was running to come there.

"Can you come in casually? We are sad here!"

The one who spoke was Hansoo. It was still emotional and now Suchan even increased his emotional level. Lucky there was no Six there. The Elf man was on a mission from his organization so he didn't come home for a while.

Suchan did not pry into Hansoo's emotional words. He had to immediately pass on the messages he received from members of the health organization to Luis' two friends.

Reflexes leaped from her bed, Hansoo looked at Suchan with a surprised look.

"Seriously!? Shan is back!!?"

William stands. It calms the hot-tempered Hansoo.

"Where is he now?"

Suchan looked at William most casually. He was grateful because his friend was there to work with.

"They said Luis was being treated in the infirmary right now. I haven't seen him yet because I ran straight here knowing the news about Luis. Let's see him together"

William and Hansoo agreed. After that they walked quickly to the health room, hoping Luis' body condition is fine at this time.
