Chapter 46. S2 (Five Years Later)

Five years have passed after a routine family event held by the Danira family. Teenage girls who always make the whole house worried, have now transformed into a beautiful and smart girl.

"Kay, you've arranged my meeting with that client from Ganedra Corporation, right?" Arkana asked as she arrived at her secretarial desk which was none other than her own cousin's sister.

"Already, sir." Kia answered without looking. He just stayed focused on the computer screen in front of him, regardless of Arkana. "Is there anything you need?" Kayra asked, as Arkana was still standing next to her desk.

Out of annoyance mixed with anxiety, Arkan pinched his sister's cheek.

"Bang, it's not good to see other employees." Kayra rounded her eyes, looking intently at the man who had stepped into her room.

Kayra turned her head to another part of the room, hoping that some of the employees who were there did not see what Arkana had just done to her.

"Basic." Kayra said annoyedly, but after the door of Arkana's room was tightly closed, the smile on her thin lips was clearly visible. After making sure the man who was always excessive when it came to him, Kay resumed her work. Preparing the schedule for Arkana, and there are many more that he needs to take care of the busyness of his boss and his cousin's brother.

Quite a long time spent by staring at the computer screen, until a few moments later, one message entered into the application on his smartphone.

"Don't forget lunch, Kay."

Kayra smiled reading the message. Men who are as good as Arkana, always took the time to send a short message like this to him when he knew if the man was no less busy with Arkana and Azka.

"Bang Ai also don't forget to eat. Greetings to Nala." Charm reply sent. Kayra put her phone back down, and prepared to stare at the monitor screen to continue her work.

This job was his dream since college. Being a secretary was his wish long ago. Though Papa Alfan has offered a top position in the company. However, Kayra still chose to be secretary of Arkana.

Not without reason. Arkana is possessive about her. However, Papa Alfan was much more possessive. For that he chose to work with Arkana rather than with his Papa.

If only Aidan had a company in Jakarta, he would plead to work with the man. Azka also, her cousin's sister chose a career abroad.

And now, he could only choose to work with possessive people, or with very possessive people.

"Let's have lunch." The man, who had entered the room a few hours ago, was now back at his desk.

"I still have a lot of work, sir." Kayra replied without looking. He was already very familiar with the voice that was inviting him to this lunch.

"okay, Bang. Okay!" Kayra was upset that Arkan's hand was about to land on her face. Either part of the face which will be pinched, so he decided to follow the will of the man in front of him.

"You can't even look at me once." Arkana.

Kayra frowned.

"Finally, you're shaking like a baby." Answer Arkana.

"Not kayak that anymore. Later if my girlfriend sees she can misunderstand." Kayra said.

"Do you have a boyfriend? Who?" Ask Arkana streak. Both of his hands were already perched at the waist, while looking at Kayra fully investigate. "Javab, Kay. I'll report Uncle here, let me know how you feel in your brackets at home." Threaten her.

Kayra breathed a heavy breath.

"I'll be a spinster if you keep going on like this." Answer her.

"No, if you meet a bad man like in the movies. You'll be kidnapped and locked up underground. Me, Azka, and Aidan will not be able to save you, Kay." Arkana.

Kayra could only shake her head at hearing the sentence that had just come out from her Aunt Brother.

"Come, have lunch, right?" Ask Kayra.

"Jawab who was your girlfriend?" Arkana still did not want to get out of the elevator, even though the iron box they were riding in had stopped on the ground floor of the company. The long legs he used to hold the elevator door open, while some employees were watching the drama being made by their superiors.

"I'm ashamed of it." Pissed Kayra. The beautiful girl wrapped in hijab, pulled the ears of her cousin's sister to stop making drama in the company.

Let him be fired, he can work again in the company of his father. Instead he continued to be a spectacle of employees because of Arkana.

"sickness, Kay. I'll fire you later." Arkana held Kayra's hand which continued to pull her ear towards the main door of the company. "Destroyed is my dignity as the head of the company because I have a secretary like you." He said again after Kayra had already removed her hand from her ear.

"It's embarrassing. How can I have a girlfriend if you guys are like this. No one's gonna want to be with me, Bang." Upset Kayra then continued to continue her steps towards Arkana's car.

"If there is a man who likes you, just come to the house. Don't be dating or what's that." Arkana.

Kayra didn't break the rant. Because all this time, whenever there are men who want to approach him, it has been stopped by the men in his life.

People say, he was so lucky because the last of a rich family also has a brother who is cool and very fond of him. However, everything is not as people see it. The fact that he had received for having a brother like his cousin's sister, was not at all pleasant.

Arkana starts driving to the restaurant where she and Kayra usually have lunch. His mouth kept on blabbering commemorating his cousin's sister, in order to be careful of being in a relationship with a boy. If necessary, do not enter into a relationship.

Kayra did not respond. Because it will only further extend the lecture from Arkana. He let the man talk everywhere. After all, he did not intend to establish love with anyone. His current life, was the life he had dreamed of long ago.For that, he had the intention to seek another life at all.
