Hiko watched Ruby leave from the window. Sad, sad, hurt to grant Ruby's request. How could he convince her if she loved him so much. He would not at all part from her.

He sat on Ruby's desk chair, took his camera and enjoyed one by one the photos of Ruby that were still captured on his camera. The more he noticed the woman's face and smile, his love seemed to grow bigger and more difficult to separate from her.

Tok tok tok tok

Hiko ignored the knock on the door, he didn't care who was behind the door.

Chequek!

The door opened, still not making Hiko curious about who came.

"Nr ..."

A voice she was not expecting could be heard, Nara was standing at the door.

"Go! I don't want to talk to you!" Snapped at Hiko without taking her eyes off her camera screen.

"But we have to talk! We have to finish our business." pinta Nara.

"Gue won't marry you and I won't divorce Ruby!" Hiko.

Nara's tears trickled down hearing Hiko's words. He just feels thrown away. He felt very cheap and cheap.

"I carry your child, your flesh and blood."

"Gue doesn't want it!!" Snapping Hiko, "Urus aja him alone, I'll keep him."

"If you really don't want it, I'll drop it,"

Nara's sentence made Hiko surprised and looked at her.

"Lo Crazy, Ra!!"

A loud voice from outside the room echoed on the second floor. Genta approached Nara quickly.

"He's not wrong!" Genta pointed at Nara's stomach, "The wrong one of you!" Bentak Genta on Nara and Hiko.

"Lo boy don't be a coward, asshole!!" Genta pointed at Hiko.

"What you said!!" Hiko stood ready to smash with Genta.

"You are not a coward! Responsibility! Nikahin Nara, take care of your son! This is your son, B*ngs*t!!" Shouted Genta.

"Gue doesn't take him!!"

"You don't mind him? Why do you lahalin first!!"

Hiko fell silent with her anger.

"Already, Brother. Already!" Pinta Nara's. "I don't want Hiko to marry me either. I don't want to ruin Ruby's happiness."

"How about you get married? What is the fate of this child? How is the law against this boy?"

"Why did I marry her, brother? Nothing hurts more when we see the eyes of our loved ones but is there someone else who loves him? that marriage will only torture us!"

"At a time like this, you're still selfish thinking about your feelings? Don't you think about this kid? Do you want this child to be born without clarity? don't you think about his future?" Genta Sentak.

"What does Genta really say, you should get married!"

Now Handoko is present in their midst.

"Pa!"

"SILENCE!!" Handoko's snap made all the state of silence, even the sound was able to make the stopping of the plenum of the army of ants in the cavities of the walls.

The frightened Genta took a step back to let Handoko take over the situation.

"You have no choice now!" Handoko pointed right at Hiko's face, "Your only choice is to divorce Ruby and marry this woman!"

"Pa!"

"DON'T ARGUE!!" Shouted Handoko. "You have disappointed many! Don't think about hurting them more!"

Hiko shook her head still disapproving of Handoko's will.

Handoko approached Hiko, touching her son's shoulders and looking at him pleading. "Please, stop torturing us, son."

A drop of Handoko's tears shed Hiko's tears. How badly did he hurt his parents to make his father cry and beg him?

Hiko hugged Handoko and repeatedly said her request. It also makes Genta and Nara grieve, feeling Hiko's remorse.

"Assalamu'alaikum,"

"Wa'alaikumsalam warahmatullahi wabaralatuh."

The greeting from Ruby who was very weak proved that the woman came home with a sadness and disappointment again. No one asked, Kyai Abdullah just looked at his wife to find out the state of his daughter.

Nyai Hannah follows Ruby into the room. The girl put her bag on the table then sat down to unwind on the bed.

"What's up, son?" Nyai Hannah sat next to her daughter.

"Ruby's tired, Ummi. Ruby is tired of facing the selfishness of Hiko. Ruby wants to stop!"

Nyai Hannah hugged her daughter, "What happened?"

"He insisted on not divorcing Ruby, Ummi. Does he want to bind Ruby forever and make Ruby sin every step of the way? Ruby's tired of it, Ummi."

Nyai Hannah just patted her daughter's back trying to give her composure. "Let Abi and Ummi try to persuade her, son. You just focus on preparing your needs for Japan."

"I hope Hiko will listen to Abi and Ummi."

"Yes, Son. Aamiin's."

No more tears came out, Ruby was tired of crying, she was tired of being in the crowd. That's enough for him. Whatever Hiko's decision, he will stick to his decision.

**********

A day had passed, how many tens of messages he had sent to Hiko to fulfill his wish. No one is answered, not even read. His phone calls were always ignored until his phone ended up not active. He's been trying to be stupid and ignorant. Maybe he will ask for help from his family later to sue for Hiko's divorce in court.

But it's not that easy, tomorrow morning he has to go to Japan. This made Ruby even more panicked about her status.

And finally, asar prayers, Kyai Abdullah and Nyai Hannah with Ruby went to Hiko's house. Very grateful they were able to meet Handoko and Maria there.

There is a sense of awkward Handoko and Maria when meeting Kyai Abdullah and Nyai Hannah. It should have been them who had come to Ruby's place to clarify the marriage relationship of their daughter's son. Handoko and Maria repeated their request.

"That's it, Mum. Let the past pass, we still have a future. Our past is learning to make our future better." Kyai Abdullah.

"And do not let this calamity break the rope of our friendship yes sir, Mom." Add Nyai Hannah.

"The attitude of Mr. Kyai and Ms. Nyai is what makes us feel bad." Maria said.

"Don't be like that, Mom. Let's both open a new leaf."

Handoko and Maria just nodded in disdain.

"We came here actually wanted to ask Nak Hiko something, Mr. Handoko." Kyai Abdullah.

Handoko nodded, "Hiko is currently on a job, Mr. Kyai. In Shaa Allah we already know what Pak Kyai means. We'll get him to meet Ruby soon, Kyai." Handoko looked at Ruby who had just been quietly bowed.

"Besok dawn Ruby will leave for Japan, sir. Therefore, before he leaves we want everything to be done and there is no burden between the two of them." Kyai Abdullah.

"Yes Mr. Kyai, we also have the same mind as-"

"Acasino'aikum ..."

Handoko's sentence was cut off with the arrival of Hiko and Genta.

"Wa'alaikumsalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh." Everything's legitimate.

Hiko is surprised by the presence of Ruby and her parents who she very much knows what their arrival means for.

"Son, sit down for a minute." Pinta Mary.

"Sorry Abi, Ummi. I didn't try to be disrespectful to Abi and Ummi at all, but if Abi and Ummi were here to ask me to divorce Ruby, I couldn't and I wouldn't."

"HOIKO!!" Sentak Handoko's.

"Ruby after Hiko for a minute." Pamit Ruby then follows Hiko.

"Bag!!"

Ruby pursues Hiko's steps but the man does not want to stop her steps.

"Mas! Stop being selfish! I don't have much time to serve you!" Ruby went into the room.

Hiko did not care about Ruby, she was busy taking off her jacket and shoes.

"Should I bow at your feet so that you would divorce me?" ask Ruby.

"Do as you please, you still won't get what you want." replied Hiko.

Ruby fell silent, "My plane is leaving at half-four in the morning, Mas. I waited for you until then. If you're still muddled by your decision, I'll sue you in court and I hope I won't see you again."

Hiko still doesn't care about Ruby's threats.

"I still want to have you in my prayer, Mas. Please don't disappoint me" Ruby said.

"And I still want to have you completely." Hiko Sahut.

The two stared at each other without any conversation. Until Ruby decides to leave Hiko's room back to the living room.

There Ruby immediately said goodbye to Handoko and Maria. Maria hugged Ruby tightly, her tears breaking unwillingly to let Ruby go.

"Thank you for being Mama's daughter-in-law. You noble lady, son. You will have complete happiness." Maria Say.

Ruby just nodded, she was holding back her tears, she did not want to cry anymore, did not want to.

**********

Kyai Nur's family car was driving down the road to the airport, through the cold air in the third of the night. Ruby was silent a thousand languages by staring at her chat room which did not get a reply from Hiko.

He clasped his phone tightly in frustration and wanted to get angry so his tears wanted to drip. How could this cruel Hiko be to him. Making this farewell so painful. He doesn't want everything to end like this, this will really make their friendship rope bad.

Iqbal who was driving the car stopped his vehicle in the parking lot that had been provided by the airport. Only Kyai Abdullah, Nyai Hannah, Iqbal and Azizah drove Ruby to the airport.

"Hallo, Assalamu'alaikum. Where is Abriz?"

Ruby called Abriz when she got off the car.

"OK, Mum. I'm going straight there, huh?" Ruby hung up on her phone call.

"Where's your friend, By?" ask Kyai Abdullah.

"It's at the gate, Abi." Answer Ruby.

"Yes, we go straight there. Abi's afraid you're missing the plane." Kyai Abdullah.

They hurried off to the minimum of international departure. Sometimes Ruby still stared at the screen of her phone, hoping Hiko gave a news, but what was obtained was still a disappointment.

"Ruby!!"

Ruby raised her head looking for who called her. That's Abriz, waving his hands to greet him. There's Heru, Nice and Lyla there.

The two met each other across the waiting room of the departure terminal. They greet each other. A little chat and talk about anything that makes them all familiar.

While Ruby still remains agitated staring at the screen of his phone, considering the departure terminal door has been opened and many are already queuing into the check-in room.

"It's time to go, son." Nyai Hannah.

"Come, By." Take Abriz.

"Attent, Mas. In a moment." said Ruby.

Everyone understood what Ruby was waiting for, they understood it and waited for what Ruby was waiting for.

Ten minutes

Fifteen minutes

Twenty minutes

"By .., if you're hesitant to leave, we'll just go home." Kyai Abdullah.

"He's so mean, Abi. He's so mean to me."

"You were mean to me, By!"

Ruby saw the person she had been waiting for from earlier standing a few steps behind her Abinya. He could no longer hold back his tears. Ruby ran and hugged Hiko.

The two hugged tightly not caring about the people around him.

"Why did you just come, Mom?" ruby asked between her sobs.

Hiko let go of her embrace, and rubbed Ruby's tears. "I've been waiting here since two o'clock."

Ruby hits Hiko's chest, "Evil! Why don't you come see me?"

"Because I want you to cancel your departure."

Ruby shook her head, "I'm still leaving."

"That's why I'm seeing you now." Hiko covers Ruby's cheeks, "We're going to split up?"

Ruby nodded, her tears melted.

"I'll marry Nara."

Ruby closed her eyes trying to accept Hiko's decision, her tears flowing more and more. His mouth was tightly clenched. He calmed himself down and opened his eyes and nodded in agreement to Hiko's decision.

"I want you to love your son one day, Mom. Don't hate it."

Hiko nodded.

"I love you, Mas. I love you."

Ruby tiptoed, pulled Hiko's face and kissed Hiko's lips. Not staying silent, Hiko also ****** Ruby lips. I don't care about anyone who would scorn her.

Satisfied with the kiss, they close with a tight hug. The two were equally unwilling to let each other go until a final announcement of departure to Japan echoed in the corners of the waiting room.

"I have to go, Mommy." Ruby let go of Hiko's embrace.

Hiko looked into Ruby's eyes, "I love you, By."

Ruby nodded, wiping away her tears.

Hiko kissed Ruby's forehead, held tightly to the hand of the woman she loved so much and then slowly let go. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He was silent for a moment before then opening his eyes, staring right at Ruby's eyes that were wet with tears.

"I dropped a talagh for you and from now on you are not my wife anymore."

The sentence that Ruby had been waiting for, but when the sentence was spoken as if her body was helpless. It hurts so much, so! The tears represented how hurt they both felt. Can't wipe each other, can't give each other hugs to strengthen each other, just staring at each other between tears.

"I'm sorry, By. Promise me you'll be happy."

Ruby nodded.

"If God permits, may we be met at the right time and in the right way, Matt."
