Armed with the blessing of his parents, do'a from the people around him, this afternoon Hiko departed to Malang using the last flight from Jogja to Malang. Hope is only one, hopefully Ruby has not answered the intention of ta'aruf man who some time ago he met it.

Before dusk greeted, Hiko had arrived at Abdurrahman Saleh Malang Airport. This time no one picked him up. Airport taxis are the choice to go to the Al Mukmin boarding school.

After Adzan Maghrib Hiko just arrived at Al Mukmin boarding school. He first went to a mosque that was not too crowded. He took a quick peek at the closed house of Kyai Abdullah.

"Son Hiko?"

Hiko stopped her steps who was about to enter the male ablution ground. He saw Kyai Abdullah with several pesantren nannies behind him about to descend the steps of the mosque. Hiko immediately approached Kyai Abdullah and kissed his hand, a longing embrace given Kyai Abdullah to the man who had been his son-in-law.

"What business is there in Malang until it's here?" asked Kyai Abdullah after letting go of her embrace. He looked back, telling the people behind him to enter the mosque first.

"I came to see Abi and Ummi." Answer Hiko.

"What's up, son?"

"I'm sorry, Abi. I haven't prayed maghrib-"

"Ooh, sorry-sorry. Go first take ablution, after praying Isya' we go to the house." Kyai Abdullah.

"Thank you, Abi."

Hiko lowered her head and walked back a few steps then left Kyai Abdullah to take ablution.

Maghrib prayer was immediately carried out, shortly thereafter the Adhan praying isya' reverberated. Kyai Abdullah called Hiko to pray nearby. He did not dare to refuse even if in fact he was very reluctant.

After praying Isya', as usual Kyai Abdullah will go first before people get out of the mosque. Not to forget Hiko was behind him, carrying his black bomber jacket and a backpack.

"Acasino'aikum ..." Kyai Abdullah said as he opened his door.

"Ma'alaikumsalam ..." The voice of the woman from within.

"Ummi, we're in the hands of this faraway guest." Said Abi.

"Yes, Abi. A moment."

Hearing Hannah's voice instantly made Hiko's heart beat faster. Is this what it is like when you tense up a man who wants to meet his future father-in-law? Even if he has never felt. Moreover, she already knew that her future father-in-law was against her relationship. His body became cold, uncomfortable and riled up.

"Son Habibie has come?" nyai asked Hannah from the inside, but when she reached the living room, another man she got there.

"Son Hiko?" Nyai Hannah was so surprised.

Hiko put her palms together in front of her mouth, "Assalamu'alaikum, Ummi." Sapa Hiko's.

"Wa'alaikumsalam, Nak Hiko." His wife Hannah replied, "How are you?" asked Nyai Hannah, friendly as always.

"Okay, Ummi."

"Where's Almeer, your son?" asked Nyai Hannah, she looked around not seeing Hiko with anyone.

"I'm alone Ummi, Almeer at home happens to be Opa and Omanya.

"It must be big now? Last time I saw you at Nara's funeral, it was a kid." Nyai Hannah said.

"Abi, let's eat. It's all set."

Hiko heard Ruby's voice from inside the room.

"Come on, Hiko, we'll have dinner first." Take Nyai Hannah.

"I'm sorry if it's a hassle."

"No, Son. No." Kyai Abdullah grabbed Hiko by the shoulder and invited her inside.

Hiko looked down and was disinclined by Abdullah's attitude towards her.

"By, take one more plate, son." Pinta Nyai Hannah when she gets to the dinner table first.

"For whom, Ummi?" raby asked, looking ahead.

"Astaqfirullahaladhim. Mas Hiko!" Surprised, he looked at his umminya.

Nyai Hannah simply smiled faintly and nodded.

"Assalamu'alaikum, By. I'm sorry I came without telling you, because I didn't know what to call you."

"Wa'alaikumsalam, Mas." Ruby replied, her face full of worry.

"Come, sit. Eat first, eat." Take Kyai Abdullah. "The plate, By."

Ruby went to the kitchen and took the dishes for Hiko and returned Again to the dining table, she was about to get Hiko Nasi and her side dishes however, she was about to pick up,

"I'll take it myself, By." Hiko.

Ruby gave her plate to Hiko and sat down next to her.

"Come on. Please take it, son." Nyai Hannah invites Hiko to take her food.

"Yes. Ummi."

Hiko took enough rice and side dishes and began to devour them.

"How is your son?" kyai Abdullah asked open the conversation.

"Alhamdullillah, good Abi." Answer Hiko.

"Why didn't he ask you?" ask Nyai Hannah.

"She's coming, Ummi. But I don't allow it, afraid later he's too tired on the road." Answer Hiko.

"How are your efforts in Jogja? Smoothly?" Kyai Abdullah asked.

"Alhamdullillah, Abi. There are customers coming."

"Are you not far from Ruby's house?"

"I myself until now do not know Ruby's house in Jogja, Abi."

"Yes?" Kyai Abdullah looked at Ruby.

Ruby nodded.

"You can tell me what it means to come here. There's no way you've come all the way here without something really important." Kyai Abdullah opens talks.

After putting the tea cup on the table, Ruby did not leave, she sat in another chair, separated from the table where Abinya and Hiko were talking.

"I came here because I had the intention to invite Abi's daughter back," He looked at Ruby for a moment and then looked down again, "Tabina Ruby Azzahra."

Kyai Abdullah silently for a moment looked at Hiko meaningfully, "Ummi ..., is it finished yet?" Ask Kyai Abdullah.

"Already, Bi."

The voice of Ummi from the kitchen, before long Nyai Hannah returned and immediately sat beside Kyai Abdullah.

"What's up, Abi?" ask Nyai Hannah.

"Son Hiko has already conveyed the meaning of his arrival here to Abi." Kyai Abdullah was silent for a moment, "She said she wanted to bring our daughter back for a referral."

Kyai Abdullah looked at Hiko, "Ummi will tell you something, son."

Nyai Hannah was not too surprised because she could already guess the purpose of Hiko's arrival at her house. He looked at Ruby whose face was already very upset and then looked back at Hiko.

"Son Hiko ..."

Hiko slightly looked up at Nyai Hannah for a moment. "Yes, Ummi."

"We as Ruby's parents appreciate your good intentions and your courage. If you ask for our blessing, we can only apologize because we cannot accept your goodwill." Nyai Hannah.

"Is it my past that makes Abi and Ummi doubt?" ask Hiko.

"In shaa Allah you must have changed for the better, son. But Ummi is so heavy about letting go of Ummi's daughter to come back with you, Ummi doesn't take revenge on you, but Ummi just wants to protect his only daughter ummi." Nyai Hannah.

"I can promise to protect and to make Ruby happy, Ummi. Moreover, we still love each other." Hiko tried to convince Nyai Hannah.

"Can't you let go of our daughter, son? As a woman who gave birth to her, Ummi was very afraid that her daughter would be hurt again." asked Nyai Hannah.

Hiko shook her head. "I'm sorry. Ummie. I want to fight Ruby. I don't want to lose him a second time."

"Son Hiko, please accept our decision." Pinta Nyai Hannah's.

"Nnnn ..." Kyai Abdullah warned his wife.

"Past, forgive Ummi." Nyai Hannah shed her tears, "Ummi still remains on the stand, Ummi."

Seeing Nyai Hannah's attitude and words made Hiko's wish tower collapse slowly. Nyai Hannah really could not accept herself.

"That's the decision, Ummi. If Abi, everything Abi decides will return to Ruby. Because he's the one who's going through it all." Said Abi.

"Abi ...," Nyai Hannah did not expect her husband to give a different answer.

Hiko looked at Ruby, the woman was bowed in tears.

Suddenly a very bright spotlight shone into the living room of Kyai Abdullah's house, before long the spotlight disappeared. A car stopped in front of Kyai Abdullah's yard, and someone got out of the car and stepped inside the terrace.

"Assalamu'alaikum Kyai ..."

That's Habibie, the reason why Ruby has been looking agitated. It is true, tonight is the time Ruby gives an answer to accept or reject Habibie's ta'aruf request.

"Wa'alaikumsalam, enter son Habibie."

Kyai Abdullah and Nyai Hannah stood up to greet her guests. Ruby and Hiko stood up as well. Habibie saluted Nyai Hannah and Ruby, then kissed Kyai Abdullah's hand.

Hiko looked at Habibie, she still clearly remembered the man's face. Habibie invited him to shake hands, he also replied kindly even though the man was his rival.

Ruby went to the kitchen, and made a glass of warm tea for Habibie. His feelings were very chaotic, the thing he had been afraid of since had happened as well.

Sayup-sayup he heard a conversation in the living room, Kyai Abdullah introduced Hiko to Habibie and explained who the man who was sitting with them.

Ruby returned to the living room with a tray and a cup of hot tea on top. He placed the cup on the table right in front of Habibie. He left, sitting in the middle room right behind the wall of the living room.

"Before I have to say it here too, Habibie boy." Kyai Abdullah continued their conversation which was interrupted due to Ruby's presence, "Sir Hiko is Ruby's ex-husband."

Habibie was a little surprised, he looked at Hiko for a moment then nodded his head.

"We know today is the time our daughter gave an answer to Habibie's good intentions, but on this day Nak Hiko also conveyed his intention to invite our daughter to refer." Kyai Abdullah.

"Ruby ..., come here, son." Call Kyai Abdullah.

Ruby returned to the living room and sat down the chair she had previously occupied.

"I can't give you an answer to your good intentions, Ruby will answer. And if you are not among the elect of our daughter, will you accept her with iichlas?" ask Kyai Abdullah.

"In shaa Allah, Abi."

"In shaa Allah, Mr. Kyai."

Kyai Abdullah looked at Ruby, "Give me your answer, son. Who will you choose."

Ruby looked at Abi and Umminya.

Nyai Hannah looked at Ruby with hope for Ruby to obey her will, while Kyai Abdullah gave her more support to choose according to her heart. His gaze then turned to the two men who were bowed waiting for his answer.

He took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "Bismil was bornohmanirrohim ..., Sorry if my choice would hurt any of you." Said Ruby, He was silent for a moment before continuing his sentence.

"Mas Hiko ...."
