Chapter 109 — Ruins of Gorgona (2)
They stepped closer to the wide black door. Chao Bence on a whim, knocking on the door. Then there was the sound of a loud knocking bang, it seemed like the door was made of iron that was quite strong.
Lian Haocun ignored Chao Bence's behavior and pushed open the door. Surprisingly, even though it was made of iron, the door was not too heavy and was quite easily opened by Lian Haocun. Lian Huanran who stood quite close to Lian Haocun, peered inside, but unfortunately he could not see anything, only darkness entered Lian Huanran's sense of sight.
Lian Huanran said in a bold pretentious tone, “Very dark.”
Long Yuan muttered ‘Hm’ approvingly, while Bai, Cheng, Chao Bence, Lian Haocun and Shui Zuo tried to observe the surroundings that only looked dark, despite the bright sunlight from outside, it doesn't help illuminate at all.
Unable to gain anything, Lian Haocun stepped in through the entrance he had just opened. Lian Huanran immediately followed Lian Haocun, as well as Long Yuan, Chao Bence, Shui Zuo, Bai and Cheng. Lian Haocun tried to use the fire element to provide a little light, unfortunately it was not useful much.
Chao Bence commented, “Even the fire element cannot dispel this darkness... This collapse is very ‘misterius’.”
Lian Haocun extinguished his fire and stepped forward, followed by Lian Huanran who felt terrified. During the journey Lian Huanran chattered constantly which made the quiet and creepy atmosphere inside the darkness, become slightly reduced. Long Yuan would also reply to Lian Huanran's chant, naturally to make Lian Huanran calmer.
The sound of stepping foot sounded as they walked forward within the darkness. Lian Huanran said, “We've been running for quite a while... How long is this hallway actually?”
Long Yuan responded, “Don't know, but this passageway should be quite long, moreover we just walk straight and don't turn at all.”
Suddenly, Lian Haocun stopped. Lian Huanran directly asked in a somewhat anxious tone, “Why Brother?”
Then his gaze shifted before Lian Haocun. The flickering flames lit up as if guiding Lian Haocun and his group to follow him. Lian Huanran was shocked by the sudden blazing fire. While Chao Bence reacted with ‘Ah’ interested. After all it had been quite a while since Chao Bence explored the ruins full of mysteries.
Chao Bence said, “There is something we need to agree on.”

The five of them along with Bai and Cheng, explored each side in the ruins of Gorgona. But unfortunately, they did not find many useful things, only skulls and some things that are not important, which are suspected to be relics of the deceased skulls that were left alone. But, of course, not only that they found, they found many magical beasts with levels one through five, which was quite strange and astonishing.
However, the ruins, which were supposedly covered for at least eight years, still had magical beasts living in them, was a very strange and awkward thing.
Chao Bence commented after seeing Lian Haocun kill the magical beast in the Gorgona Ruins for the umpteenth time, “They are really very aggressive and look insane. Is this because they've been locked up here for eight years? Uh, no..., it might take longer, so they lose their mind?”
Lian Huanran, “Could be, they are really very aggressive. Even one of the magical beasts almost managed to bite Big Brother's arm... Fortunately, Brother's reflexes are very good.”
Lian Haocun scanned his surroundings before discovering something different from the passageways and places he had already explored before. There was one medium-sized door that if Lian Haocun did not pay close attention to his surroundings, he would not be able to find it. He immediately approached the blue door with a mixture of silver that looks luxurious and elegant.
Lian Huanran soon realized her brother disappeared on the spot and immediately looked for her Brother. His eyes quickly locked onto Lian Haocun who was walking alone to a somewhat closed place. Then Lian Huanran, Long Yuan, Shui Zuo and Chao Bence immediately followed Lian Haocun and found the door that Lian Haocun had previously seen.
Long Yuan nodded in agreement and began to take a close look at the luxurious and elegant door. While Lian Haocun who stood closest to the door, tried to open it with physical strength. Surprisingly, the medium-sized door was harder to open than the entrance of the Gorgona Ruins!
Lian Haocun frowned and used more power. After trying for nearly fifteen full minutes with the additional help of Chao Bence and Shui Zuo, the blue-silver colored door finally opened. Lian Haocun and his group immediately observed the room behind the silver-blue door.
The interior of the room is the same as the hallways that they have passed before, there are torches with fire on both sides of the wall in the room. However, the most striking thing in the room is a very beautiful clear blue pool located in the middle of the room. Lian Haocun felt a bad feeling and awkwardness to see the clear blue pool. After all who would not suspect and feel strange when they found the crystal clear pond in the covered Ruins for at least eight years.
In a surprised tone, Lian Huanran said, “Why is there suddenly a pool?”
That's the question on everyone's mind in the room. Then unexpectedly, the silver-blue door that had been wide open, suddenly closed! Due to his quite loud voice, the attention of Lian Haocun and his group immediately led to a door that suddenly closed by itself. Lian Huanran felt fear when he saw this horror phenomenon.
Chao Bence intended to check, but a voice coming from the clear blue pool made Chao Bence undo his intention to check the door. A woman suddenly emerged from the pool! The woman looked quite young, her hair was silver in color, but that was not what caught the attention of Lian Haocun and her group. There is a blue gradient tail connected to the upper body of the silver-haired woman.
Chao Bence was quite surprised and thought, ‘How can there be a siren here?’
The top limb of the siren, not open, contained a shawl between his hands and a protective suit that Lian Haocun suspected of iron. Surprisingly the entire siren eyes were clear blue, there was not the slightest white color!
Shui Zuo who saw it also felt surprised. ‘Siren with Elder bloodline and lost his sanity!?’ Inner Shui Zuo and Chao Bence were together.
Before Shui Zuo could inform the information he had just obtained. Chao Bence already shouted, “Be careful! He is a siren who lost his sanity!”
Lian Haocun who would have known it, was not surprised, his eyes stared vigilantly at the siren whose body was floating in the air. Suddenly, unexpectedly the siren chanted a few tones! And various small to large-sized formations, appeared above the heads of Lian Haocun and his group!
