Artl suddenly reached out his right hand and passed on a small, concentrated bottle. "Drink this. Prove the sacrifice you're gonna give me"
It was a poison from the blood of one of the mythological creatures of the Alamander race.
Ryan opened his eyes wide when he found out that the bottle contained poison.
...----------------●●●----------------...
Ryan swallowed his own saliva as he saw a dense negative aura coming out of the bottle that Artl Kyzen had opened.
Rian asked as he looked at Artl Kyzen's eyes "Did you accept me by drinking the poison?" Ryan doubted Artl Kyzen.
"I need your offering in a real form. It's not just nonsense" Artl Kyzen himself, though, barely believes what Ryan is about to give.
He's testing Ryan. Ryan realized.
"What if I die and you don't give me a bit of your magic?" Both of them don't believe it.
"Don't this include the offerings you're going to give me?" Artl asked as he held out a small bottle containing the poison.
Ryan's heart seemed to stop for a moment because Artl's speech was a bill for the promise he would give to him.
Ryan carefully took out a poison capable of killing 10 humans with just a speck of its liquid hitting the wound.
"I'll drink it. This is the speech I promised you, Sir. I hope you don't forget my request. Glegh!" Ryan swallowed the poison in one gulp.
Artl Kyzen widened his eyes. Then he grinned thinly while again sitting on his layover.
He looked at Ryan's body while tapping his index finger on his seat, matching his inner count.
"Sa.. I've drunk it, sir!" Strictly Ryan while showing in his mouth and the bottle.
However, there was not much reaction given by Artl Kyzen to him.
DEGH!
Suddenly, Ryan's heart was racing. The bottle fell on the marble floor until it broke. "CRUMBLE!" Ryan fell down because he felt tightness in his chest and his throat was hot as if he was choking tightly.
Ryan's cheeks touched the cold marble floor after four seconds he fell to his knees there.
Ryan's tears fell as he looked and extended his hand to Artl Kyzen. He did not ask for help for himself who drank the poison. Instead, ask Artl to keep his promise.
Ryan looked at the grin from Artl's face that was blurring due to his vision.
Ryan's sad memories, however, begin to slip into Artl's head trying to self-destruct Ryan from within before his death.
The torment of her as a weak Big Brother for not being endowed with mana like everyone else, made her parents start to discriminate against Ryan. His sister was always on the high end by both of his parents.
Later, Ryan, who was dumped by his biological family, makes Artl even more sorry for Ryan.
Ryan was taught swordsmanship by his single stepfather. The injury on Ryan's back that he got because of his stepfather, imprinted him into adulthood.
Artl got out of Ryan's head without ruining a single memory. He stepped down from his layover and unfolded Ryan's robe and thin clothes to look at the wound on his back.
"SADDENING"
Artl holds Ryan's head to expel the poison in Ryan's body and returns the shape of the bottle that has been broken with the time-keeping magic to its original form.
Artl closed the bottle after returning the poison. He overstepped Ryan after realizing that Ryan had only fainted for recovery after the release of the poison.
Artl smiled faintly as he climbed the stairs towards the second floor. However, Artl immediately regained his senses by smothering his mouth.
...----------------●●●----------------...
This is the fourth day Ryan passed out.
It was raining heavily all over Arden. Artl did it. He had no idea where the magic forest Ryan had mentioned.
The rain continued for three days and three nights. Artl comes down from his room and sees Ryan still not moving from there.
Artl thought, Ryan has already left his palace. He also did not expect the rewards that Ryan had promised.
"How old is he? Is he younger than me or older than me?" Artl flips Ryan's body which was initially in the face down condition using his legs.
Ryan seemed to be singing his lips like a new person could breathe with relief. "The bug infuriates" Artl steps over Ryan to go to his study.
However, Ryan awakens to Artl's voice. Ryan sat down and looked into his two hands. "HUH?! A... I'M STILL ALIVE?!" Ryan's loud voice, echoed throughout the room.
Artl's heart was shocked because the loud noise in his palace was always quiet. Artl saw Ryan paraded quite far and close to his office. He notices Ryan's behavior that ensures all of his limbs are complete including at the bottom.
Artl turned his face away, "He's a real dumb Elf" Lirih Artl who still sounded Elf Ryan's ears.
Ryan's eyes were immediately fixed on the origin of the voice. "WAIT! THE MASTER! DID YOU TURN ME ON?!"
Artl almost gawked and rounded his eyes because Ryan's speech was like a joke.
"Think yourself. In the next life, don't be a stupid Elf who talks a lot" Artl said as he continued his path.
Ryan stood up quickly following Artl. "Okay Sir! What about my request?" Ryan walked backwards in front of Artl with his bright face.
Artl folded his arms in front of his chest. "See out. If there's anything you want again, I'm in that room. So, don't bother me for two hours from now" Artl walked into the room behind Ryan standing up.
Ryan nodded then looked in all directions to look for the exit. Ryan widened his eyes because of the heavy rain that was happening before him. Ryan began to see water that pooled almost solely feet.
Distraught, Ryan immediately ran out of the palace and jumped up and down in excitement under the heavy rain. Artl saw it from behind the window of his room. "Huh? Is he a kid?" Artl closed the window curtains and he looked depressed with the empty white room. That room, it doesn't look like a workspace.
Artl punished himself.
...----------------●●●----------------...
"YINHIN!!!" Ryan ran towards Artl after Artl came out of the room and Ryan was already in good shape.
Artl's ears almost broke due to the loud sound of the call. He saw Ryan who looked cleaner than the building. "What's wrong?" Artl asked while looking at the sickening look of Ryan in front of him.
"Eum, actually, there's one more thing I want to ask for" Ryan shyly said.
"What's that?" Artl just wants Ryan to get out of his castle.
"Can you create protection magic along the magic forest? Um... That protection magic intent, was like a domain that only a select few and all Elves could enter." Ryan was quick.
Artl couldn't believe Ryan would ask for it. "Actually, are you creative or weird? I can't do it. In fact, even a classmate of the Archangel would not be able to do it" Artl left Ryan because for him the talk made no sense.
The persistent Ryan, continues to follow Artl's path. "Master, can't you try it first? Haha, in my opinion, you are a stronger figure than the Great Angel and if you can do so, surely your strength will be eternal and known by everyone. Especially the Elves and Mythological Beings. Trust me on! I can see your future!"
In fact, Artl was interested in all of Ryan's conversations. "Conscious, maybe this is an impact because I barely spoke for two years with other people" Artl tried to create a suggestion to defend his stance.
"Stop your bullshit. Apparently, you've dared to joke with me" Artl said, throwing his face away.
Ryan stood in front of Artl. "I'm not lying. You have a pretty tough future. But relax, you have a second life. Haha, maybe if in your second life, I suggest being a jolly and talkative person. Every now and then, be a careless person. You will have a worse life than you are now. Ah, wouldn't it be exciting if I also had the same chance as you? I Hope you can be your friend. I want to have a careless and talkative friend" Ryan said with a wide smile in front of Artl.
Artl looked at that face which showed a wide smile. "Better, I have no friends than to be reckless" Artl pushed Ryan's shoulder aside.
