CHAPTER 4 [Changer of Grooves]

Moments ago Daeva kidnapped a blind 17-year-old girl and was treated by the Linga to lure the Linga to meet Alder who had been waiting for the complete presence of all Titisan in Shinrin.

"Can I meet him too?" Ask the girl.

"Ten/That's impossible" Daeva will just answer the girl's question. However, another figure answered the question from the girl.

Daeva is no stranger to this aura. He looked ahead.

Ruri shows up there to block Daeva.

Daeva hugged the girl tightly with her left hand and Daeva's right hand began to draw a magic circle to move the girl.

He knew that he would not be able to run from Ruri and of course, Ruri would make things worse if Lingga saw him.

"Aria, tell the person who is holding you that Daeva has a special guest waiting for him in the forest" Bisik Daeva told the girl.

Ruri smiled broadly at Daeva using the form of Nao.

"Xixi, has this one Devil's Creation now withered his heart~?" Ruri asked while letting out her spoiled tone.

Daeva is very wary of this. Lingga could come and misunderstand what Daeva is doing.

Yes, that was Ruri's plan.

"Huh~ So are my words right? Ah~ whereas,..." Ruri opened the bangs in her left eye. The blue iris with red pupils was clearly visible in Daeva's eyes.

"...I'd rather you be on your own path" Ruri's voice went low than before.

Daeva tried not to be provoked by Ruri's words.

"As you know, Aosora Arthur met me first. Yeah.. You know what the answer is?" Ruri asked while narrowing her eyes and grinning.

Daeva's forehead frowned. "You're wrong" said Daeva, preparing to draw out his mana sword.

The squinting of the eyes and grin of Ruri disappeared slowly.

"Aosora Arthur is not even able to control her abilities. So, don't be big-headed" Daeva continued to Ruri.

Ruri's black wings stretched out next to her.

"Haha! I don't think you know what's called instinct. Aosora Arthur is among you. But, her instincts chose me over Titisan. Wanna bet?" Ruri asked Daeva while stretching out her six wings.

Ruri stood up and now stretched all her body. He's not satisfied if he doesn't make Daeva shake.

"Then Aosora Arthur should have made her decision. Which means, he has chosen and seen everything. I'll open my eyes to Aosora Arthur. Whatever the final decision will be, I will accept all his views" Daeva asserted as he clenched his right hand which he showed to Ruri.

Ruri chuckles. "I'm not sure you'll make it" Ruri said as she stretched her right leg and was overtaken by her head.

"Ha~Ya's. It was not difficult to cultivate confidence for Aosora Arthur. WHOA!"

"PASSH!!!!!" Ruri bent her body and Ruri's wings blew Daeva away along with her mana sword.

Daeva who shot into the air, swiftly drew two small swords on both of his thighs as his feet rested on the branches of the tree.

"PATSH!" Daeva again darted towards Ruri and Daeva drained his mana on the two daggers he was holding.

"SHOUT! THE FLAKES!" Ruri dodged every attack of Daeva. And he went from one tree to another.

"Why didn't he strike back? What's he waiting for?" Ask Inner Daeva while standing on the branch where Ruri was standing.

Ruri crouched down and turned her left side hair bangs. Ruri's eyes with blue irises and red pupils can see which capacity and which core Daeva belongs to.

In fact, it could have been Ruri destroying Daeva right now with her attack from within. However, if this happens the plot will not be exciting for Ruri.

Ruri chuckles.

"Am I the Antagonist in your eyes?" Ask Ruri to Daeva.

Daeva scoffed, "You're the one who likes to joke around" Ejek Daeva told Ruri.

Ruri raised both her hands as high as her shoulders. "That's how I am. Whatever I do, it's not all wrong. I'm just doing my job. Just like you guys" Ruri replied as she folded her hands in front of her chest.

"Tasks?" Daeva was surprised to hear that.

"Ya~ I am a noble figure. Should you be kind to me because your enemy is not Aosora Arthur~ Imagine that I am still a Great figure and Aosora is your enemy? Wanna bet? The land of Arden will surely be drought and death more rampant than when you consider me an enemy" Ruri said as she showed her palm.

Daeva did not understand Ruri's words.

"Damn it, were you once an Incarnation?" Daeva is not pleasantry.

Ruri laughed out loud. "I? Incarnate? Ah~ How low is that? Oh, hell, I never. What else is dead? Are you trying to take this Ruri for granted?" Ruri asked as she held onto her left chest and looked at Daeva.

Daeva never looked down on his enemy.

"Then who are you?" Ask Daeva.

Ruri grinned.

"Thank you. I'll give you the clue. I will always know every road you walk. Whether it's your plan or your strategy. I have a beautiful right eye more than anyone and I have every privilege you have. Including, listening to the contents of your mind" Ruri said to Daeva with a faint laugh.

"Yes, I'm older than Arden" Ruri continued after she thought for a moment.

Daeva's eyes were wide. He just found out about this for the first time. So that he thought it appropriate if Ruri was always in front of him.

"Oh yes, and also.... I don't like being attacked from behind. Attacking me from behind is like suicide" Ruri continued to commemorate Daeva.

"Why did you say all that? What's your purpose?" Ask Daeva.

Ruri chuckled again. "Guess who I am and this too to hold you introduces me to Aosora Arthur. Say, I'm not a bad person. I'm just a figure who runs my errands~"

"Curtain! Fuck what you said" Daeva didn't believe it. Hearing that, Ruri laughed once more.

Always and always focused on seeing and knocking others down" Ruri removed her wings then sat on the branch as if Daeva was not her enemy.

Daeva begins to feel the aura of Lingga entering the forest and of course, Alder will not be able to pick her up because he is with the girl. The only way for Daeva is to make Ruri leave this magic forest.

"Daeva Nerezza, we both have one thing in common where our good is lost by a mistake" Ruri said as she conjured a small magic from her bright blue palm.

"Curtain! I'm not the same as you. You are the one who slandered me" Daeva said furiously.

"I saw something about you in the future"

Daeva is shocked to hear Ruri's sudden remark and it's as if Ruri cares about her.

Ruri grinned thinly. "I can change it if you're willing to be my partner" Ruri continued.

"Huh?" Daeva did not expect this to come out of Ruri's lips and this was a surprising offer.

"You are now being tricked and taken advantage of by a kid who loves to dabble. He will only use you until the real goal is realized" Ruri said as she moved Daeva towards her subconscious with her magic as Ruri felt the aura of the approaching Linga.

BWOSH!

The wind swept Daeva's face with a bang. The grass desert is a new sight for Daeva. The overcast sky that stretched wide he was shocked by this place full of magic.

Ruri sat at a considerable distance from Daeva.

"So, I don't want a droplet used like a tool by someone else. For you are my toys" said Ruri in front of Daeva.

Kening Daeva. For the first time, he was curious about the future that Ruri was insinuating.

"What do you see?" Ask Daeva.

Ruri's grinning lips slowly lost her grin. "Are you curious? I can tell you who is going to use you like a tool and I can solve your problems with just one rain I drop from the sky. But, that way.... I'm tantamount to ruining this storyline. Even so, I don't want everything to go like a plot that has been written" Ruri said as she pulled out the book of Titisan sought by Daeva.

Daeva's eyes were wide.

"You know, it's not free~ I'll restore Alfarellza's memory as well as this. The pay you need to pay is your devotion and Aosora Arthur's return in my hands. For your true enemy is not me. I'm just directing you and you're looking at me like an enemy" Ruri said as she sat on a chair that suddenly appeared in front of her and behind Daeva.

Actually Daeva's profit is 50:50. But, Ruri was a devious figure and she had a hard time accepting it.

"Ya~ You turned it down no problem~ Actually, I don't need you guys to open this book. Cklak!" Said Ruri while opening the book.

Daeva gulped his saliva in shock and he was speechless.

"I also don't need this book because I have infinite magic and my power scale is greater than the Titians or Aosora Arthur" Ruri said while changing the location of her subconscious.

The frozen ocean is the view of Daeva today. Even so, Daeva only felt the emptiness of Ruri's subconscious.

"Ah, I can't move my body"

This was because Daeva was in Ruri's territory and Ruri released all her energy to make Daeva feel tight.

"I won't make this offer to you twice and I won't hide my identity if you've contracted a soul with me" Ruri said as she placed her chin on the backs of her hands.

"What about the other drops?" Ask Daeva.

"I will not disturb or forbid you from socializing with them on one condition. You should come when I call you and you should be honest about what I ask for" Ruri explained.

That sounded dubious in Daeva's ear.

"What if I refuse this?" Ask Daeva again.

"You are in my territory, of course you will not be able to come out if you refuse it other than defeating me" replied Ruri.

At the very least, Daeva could neither injure nor scrape Ruri with her magic. Daeva currently had the ingenious thought of devouring Ruri slowly by accepting the offer.

"I accept it, and give me one thing. I will never and will never be your toy. Including, betraying the Titans" said Daeva.

Ruri's eyes widened she was grinning wide. "Yes... That nice. After all, I have no business with the Titans other than Aosora Arthur and Alder Ren as well as the boy" Ruri replied as she made a magic circle to begin a soul binding contract with Daeva.

Daeva dripped his blood on the magic circle.

"So, for starters I will give this book to you on condition, do not give it to Alder first. Because, Aosora Arthur's body must come from me" Ruri threw the book to Daeva.

Daeva caught the book and he didn't expect it to be this easy to get. "But why should it be from you?"

"Aosora Arthur should get my magic because Aosora Arthur's magic is mostly on me. If Alder returns Aosora Arthur's body, he will be long enough to absorb the magic of those around him.

"HACCH!" Arthur sneezes using Tsuha's body which he infiltrates.

"Well... My nose is so itchy. Is this because it's not used to the icy place?" Arthur asked as he rubbed his nose.

Razel next to her closed Tsuha's eyes, which Arthur had infiltrated to sleep.

"Sleep. Tomorrow you must meet Angel" Lirih Razel in a hoarse voice.

"Haha, of course vice~" replied Arthur. He can't get out of Tsuha's body. And he sneaks out to ask Ambareesh for help.
