CHAPTER 3 [Reception]

Ambareesh stayed up all night having nightmares about his second life.

He has a promise debt to Nekoma.

That morning, Arthur disappeared from his sight. Yeah, he thought that Arthur was trying to find a new container as a test.

The Demon Eradication Members had gathered to continue the journey because they would not be safe at the border for long.

"Four men to Nekoma. Yeah, I need four people to get there. First one, Luke. I need your transfer magic. Then, Razel and Ken's sister. You two can get in there easily because of which scent you guys, last...."

"Wait... Who's Ken you mean?" Zack asked while knocking on the wooden table a few times.

Ambareesh pointed at Liebe while explaining that the name was indeed suitable for her. In essence, it's a nickname given by Ambareesh. It is easy to mispronounce names. So, he used a nickname that he liked.

That explanation is hard for Zack and Val to understand.

"Whatever. The point is I don't want to go to Nekoma" Tsuha has been careful not to be conspicuous to be appointed by Ambareesh.

Archie does not know if Tsuha does not want to come. He's just worried and Luke can't be nice to Tsuha. So, he assumed that Ambareesh's strategy of engaging Tsuha was ineffective.

"I won't take you Archie, either. Inviting you is the same as scapegoating Akaiakuma" replied Ambareesh.

Archie understands this. He himself had been conscious from the beginning. However, at the same time he was upset with Ambareesh who was acting pretentious to care for the Kingdom that he had attacked.

"Yes, I get it. Here the experts in long-range magic are only Shera and Angel. I recommend these two creatures to you" Archie can recommend them both because Arthur and Tsuha often tell me about these two people.

"Yes, then, I'll take you" Ambareesh pointed at Shera.

"A.me?" Shera was shocked once and she was immediately stunned because she had never carried out a mission this heavy as long as she was a Demon Eradication Member.

Razel nods to Shera for her acceptance to contribute to Ambareesh's strategy.

"Good, even so Tsuha still had to come along" Ambareesh grimaced widely while looking towards Tsuha.

"Huh?! Why?!" Angel interjected because Ambareesh was inconsistent with his earlier remark that he had only invited four people to attack Nekoma because of Ambareesh's promise.

"Since, Tsuha is being targeted" Ambareesh replied casually as he added another pawn to the remote attack site.

"Who's after? You just reasoned, right?! In fact, he was safe all this time" said Angel while taking the pawn from Ambareesh's hand.

Ambareesh looked into Angel's eyes which were sliced by ice blue. "Tsuha is safe because there's me. They won't dare to approach Tsuha, as long as she's around me. In addition, Tsuha is not a strong figure for now. So, Miss Angel, you should understand my words. Tsuha was a descendant of pure green Elves, she could not use teleport magic nor magic holes. He, too, was not used to speed magic to escape or to arrive on time" Ambareesh explained openly to all who were there.

Tsuha herself doesn't know about herself. However, Ambareesh was able to find out and it made Tsuha choose to join Ambareesh for her security and wait for the arrival of a fellow Master with Tsuha according to Ambareesh's promise.

All agree. Razel gives full responsibility for the safety of the other Demon Eradication Members and this cave to Zack who is assisted by Daniel.

Ambareesh again explained his strategy to the five men and explained his main goal was to free Nekoma from the snake demon that entered the area and manipulate everyone who was there. He explained repeatedly not to touch anything in Nekoma including holding on to trees and walls.

Ambareesh warns the three men who will be long-range attackers to protect each other's backs. For, Nekoma was a Kingdom Demon Cat who was skilled in ambushes from his opponent's blind spot.

They understand the plan.

They leave Ambareesh's place and leave only Razel to have a one-on-one conversation with Ambareesh.

Razel was surprised to hear the fact from Ambareesh that Liebe would be left in Nekoma waiting for the next Manager to be found.

Truth after truth, it has been revealed before Razel since the rise of Ambareesh. Ambareesh explains to Razel about Liebe who is the King of Nekoma and he who sealed Ken into the Hinoken however, Ken's soul was forcefully expelled by powerful magic before his time.

Ambareesh also explained that there is a figure who is targeting Aosora Arthur whose name has existed since his second life where Greendarea and Aosora have not been formed.

This may have sounded strange when Ambareesh told Razel.

At Razel's head, it's all like a pazzel that's starting to show its shape. He remembered everything Nox said.

"So, should Crown Prince Aosora Arthur's soul still be around here?" Razel is a sensitive person and is able to judge quickly after he knows the truth of another.

"Yes, that's right. Then, aren't you wondering why I'm taking you on this trip?" Ambareesh asked as he tapped the table with his index finger several times.

"No. I want you to go crazy over there and not hesitate to cast your magic. Nekoma is safe territory for Black Dragon Race-type magic like you" replied Ambareesh while playing the ring on the ring finger of his left hand.

At Tsuha's place, Angel comes to her to talk to Tsuha. He could not calm down because of Ambareesh's words that said that Tsuha was being targeted. However, he did not know who Ambareesh meant.

"What is this, brother?" Tsuha asked before receiving the necklace from Angel.

"I don't want you to have anything before you answer my statement back then. With this necklace, I can come to where you are even far away. Yes, as long as it's not in the forbidden forest" Angel replied as she pulled Tsuha's shoulder to bow.

Tsuha complies with Angel's words.

"Sister, are you really not tired of chasing after me who barely even cares about you?" Tsuha asked while looking at Angel's eyes.

Those emerald green eyes, so close to Angel.

"Yes! although you are a Green Elf nation that is forbidden to have deeper relations with other nations. I will still chase after you" he answered while rubbing Tsuha's hair that looks a little brown because it is reflected by light from outside.

Tsuha stood up straight and looked at the blue-eyed necklace from Angel. "Sorry, if it's like this. I really look like a jerk that makes you wait for my answer. I'm sorry brother. I am really heavy looking at you and feel like my nature is not good for you" explained Tsuha as she sat on the bamboo long chair.

Angel and Tsuha are only 3 years younger than Angel.

Angel smiled and gave a hug to Tsuha.

He stroked Tsuha's shoulders.

"Then accept my statement. Let's try it first. After all, you've protected me a lot, especially in that icy place. Yes, Tsuha.... Don't always put yourself down" Angel explained, taking off her hug and sitting next to Tsuha.

Tsuha sighed then she saw Angel.

"I'm actually embarrassed to admit it, brother. Judging from any point of view, you are still stronger than me. And, I'm not as strong as you either" Tsuha showed her biceps that were no bigger than Angel's biceps.

"BFTT! Ahahaha! You're just-there! My stomach is stiff...." Angel's eyes water because of Tsuha's jokes.

Tsuha chuckled lightly then turned her gaze away.

"Yes, let's try it first. I will try to adjust slowly. So, don't be in a hurry, brother" Tsuha accepted Angel's statement.

Angel looked at Tsuha who was not looking at her. Elf Tsuha's earlobes look flushed in Angel's eyes.

"Ha... Ugh... Really?!" Angel turns her face opposite to Tsuha's. She was so wide-eyed with her face flushed red and closed her lips.

Tsuha glanced at Angel. Yes, he had a faint smile when he saw that blushing Angel.

Tsuha bent her body and looked at Angel from under Angel's left side.

"Sister, can you act like this too, brother?" Tsuha asked as their eyes met each other.

Angel covered Tsuha's face with her right palm. "Yes, after this. You can't show your smile to anyone but me. Including Archie" Angel said as she stood up and rubbed Tsuha's hair.

"Huh? Why?"

"Because you have a prettier face than me and this scares me" she replied as she tidied Tsuha's hair.

"Huh.., Alright~. You are so chatty" muttered Tsuha as she closed her eyes feeling more tired than any other day.

"Fast up!" Angel stood in front of Tsuha. Tsuha was really surprised she immediately opened her eyes when her forehead was knocked by Angel. Angel smiled faintly at Tsuha.

"So, what should I do so that you can quickly adjust yourself without much burden?" Ask Angel to Tsuha.

Tsuha stared back at the question.

"GREP!" Tsuha hugged Angel's waist tightly. Angel's body was so warm on that drizzling morning.

At first Angel was surprised, but then Angel returned the tight hug from Tsuha.

"I don't know what to answer. This is the first time I'm like this" Tsuha said as she closed her eyes and felt the warm embrace.

At that time, Arthur went through Tsuha's room to go to Ambareesh's room. He was really surprised to see that Cuddling Tsuha and Angel.

"EWWWH, what's going on?"

Arthur has lost many incidents after he woke up from sleep due to a loud bang from Ambareesh and when he realized he had been at the bottom of the lake of hope (Forbidden Forest Center).
