Ch.39 Efficacy of Fire Tongue Leaf

"Fang An I'm so proud of you" the Great Elder walked over to Fang An who had just stepped down from the exam site.

"Thank you elder" Fang An said as he saluted. "Where's grandpa?" Fang An had just realized he had not seen his grandfather.

"He's back, he's apologizing for not having the time to congratulate you" the Great Elder said with a smile. "Now We will return to the sect, and prepare yourself for another three-month Race" said the Great Elder.

"Chairman, can you give me some time? I'll come back if my business is done" Fang An wanted to go back to the Dragon's Goa to retrieve the Fire Tongue Leaf.

"Alright, don't let anything happen to you" the Great Elder said and left Fang An.

Fang An was currently in Goa where the Dragon lived.

"Master, is it necessary that I take the Fire Tongue Leaf?" The Dragon came out from Fang An's Clothes.

"There's no need I'll take it myself" Fang An said excitedly and jumped straight into the lava.

Inside this Lava Fang An felt a slight heat. He became more heat resistant after absorbing the Blood Essence from the Dragon.

when Fang An reached the bottom of this lava. He saw so many Leaves of the Tongue of Fire, even these leaves were larger than he could above. Fang An also saw that there was one Leaf that was the largest in the middle of the other Leaves.

'I'll start from the smallest' Fang An said in Heart. Then he immediately pulled out the smallest Fire Tongue leaf among the others and directly absorbed it.

When absorbing that leaf, Fang An felt the heat throughout his Body, yet it was still not as hot as absorbing the Dragon's Blood Essence.

After a while finally all the Fire Tongue Leaves that were there had been absorbed by Fang An. Only the biggest one remains.

Fang An approached towards the Leaf Then tried to pull it out. when Fang An touched the Leaf. He felt his hands burning. Fang An was surprised by This, How could he who was already able to move freely within the extremely hot Lava, feel burning when holding the Leaf.

Fang An fought his pain. He pulled the leaf out and absorbed it. Fang An felt his entire body like it was burning, he had never felt anything like this. Fang An concentrated on absorbing these leaves.

After spending quite a long time, Fang An finally finished absorbing the leaf. Fang An immediately rushed Up.

"You know how long I've been here?" Fang An asked the Dragon.

"It's been about 2 Months" the Dragon replied politely.

"2 months? How can I take so long just to absorb that leaf?" Fang An was surprised to hear he spent 2 months in this place.

"The "leaf is a 100,000-year-old Leaf of the Tongue of Fire. So it certainly takes a long time to absorb it" replied the Dragon. "And since you absorbed that leaf, you are already at the 50th Layer of the Qi Refinement Level" the Dragon continued.

"50? Is there such a high level?" Fang An was surprised to hear he reached the 50th Layer.

"The Level of Qi Refinement has no limits, the higher the level the purer the Qi that is in your body and your strength will be even greater" the Dragon explained to Fang An.

Fang An was indeed surprised, but he also felt happy that he had become strong.
