"So the old man is dead? It's good that my son can now ascend the throne without a hitch" A woman who is quite old looks happy.

"But the empress, the crown prince also died" said the servant who was with her there.

"Look at them I became eager to get married again" Aelfric spoke softly.

"I thought I'm the only one who thought of such a thing" Diablo also spoke.

"I'm also so anxious to report to your wife" Fang An spoke as he looked at Diablo and Aelfric with a meaningful gaze.

Diablo wanted to check out, but Fang An stopped his steps "Let me see it" Fang An said slowly and walked out of the room.

Outside the room, Fang An saw that there was a woman who was quite old along with some soldiers behind her. "You killed my son?" The woman asked in a cold tone.

Fang An instantly knew the woman before him was this Imperial Empress. "You're the one who spread the rumors of Huo Li's curse? You're the one who put the killer in Huo Li's shadow?" Fang An asked the woman before him.

The woman was surprised that Fang An knew of her foul deeds. "What are you talking about?!" The empress spoke as if she knew nothing.

"You're so funny, get out of here. Soon I will make Huo Li Emperor of this Empire, and if you want to avenge your son come with a stronger army" Fang An spoke in a cold tone Then he turned around and wanted to enter his room.

But suddenly the Empress attacked Fang An blindly. From the attacks given by the Empress, Fang An could tell that the Empress was much stronger than the Emperor. But even though the Empress's attack was strong, Fang An was still able to dodge the attack easily "I've guessed you are indeed strong, I'm sure you have an unusual background" Fang An spoke with a smile.

The Empress was surprised to see that Fang An was able to dodge all of her attacks. "I didn't expect there to be anyone as strong as you on this ground" the Empress stopped attacking and took some distance from Fang An. "You're right, I have an unusual background. I'm a member of one of the ancient families, I'm sure you won't dare to mess with me" the Empress spoke in a mocking tone.

"Unfortunately your belief is wrong, I don't care about your family" Fang An said coldly and then attacked the Empress with deadly attacks.

The empress realized her position was now being unprofitable she immediately issued a move that Fang An had never seen. After using the skill, the Empress immediately disappeared from the presence of everyone present. Fang An was still confused by what had happened. Yet Chu Lian suddenly held onto her hand. "That is a move that all members of the ancient family have, it makes itself instantly move to the Ancient region" Chu Lian said to Fang An.

"Where do you know that?" Fang An was surprised that Chu Lian knew what style the Empress used.

"Me and Hongli are members of an ancient family. All the members of the ancient family had great talent, yet I did not. So that my family agreed to dump me, my mother was against it, but they did not listen to it and my mother was thrown away with me, at that time my mother was pregnant with Hongli" Chu Lian explained her true origin. "And you've offended one of the ancient families, I'm sure they'll avenge your deeds" Chu Lian continued, looking worried for Fang An.

"As long as they don't hurt you I'll be fine" Fang An said then hugged Chu Lian.
