Ch.64 Fang An's True Power

It had already been a month since the Emperor of the Northern Fire Empire died in Fang An's hands. The ministers in this empire appointed Fang An to be the temporary Emperor until Huo Li was old enough.

"Your Majesty, the Border Town is currently under attack by the blue Sky Empire. If left they will get closer to the capital" said one of the ministers there.

"How many troops are they?" Fang An asked calmly.

"More than 20,000 troops" the minister politely replied.

"I'm sure they haven't taken out all their troops yet" Fang An muttered softly. "Prepare the troops to guard the capital, I'll go to Border Town" Fang An directly left the room and headed towards Border Town.

Fang An already knew that the Blue Sky Empire was going to attack the Northern Fire Empire, as this was his plan. One month ago Fang An found Tan Yuenzhi's spy among his bodyguards. Fang An told the spy to tell Tan Yuenzhi that the Emperor and Fang An fought until both died. So Tan Yuenzhi must have thought this was a good time to attack. Fang An also had Aelfric and Chu Lian pick up the Yun and Fei families in order for them to avoid this war.

After a 4-hour journey Fang An finally arrived at the Border city. Fang An had already put Diablo in the border town since one week ago, to defend the Border town. But Fang An also told Diablo not to kill the enemy too much.

"Welcome Ruler" Diablo greeted the newly arrived Fang An.

"You've done your job well, take a break and watch me play" Fang An said with a smile.

Fang An used a mask and jumped onto the fortress of Border Town. Fang An gave off an extremely powerful murderous aura towards the enemy forces. He did it just to get their attention.

As Fang An had planned, all the enemy troops immediately looked towards him. A while later came out a grandfather who looked very strong. "Sir, did we do something that offended you? if we do that I Fei Jierui apologizes to you" said the Grandfather named Fei Jierui.

"Your name is Fei Jierui?" Fang An instantly approached towards the grandfather at an extremely high speed. "I am the grandson of your friend's son, my name is Fang An. I want you to side with me, all the members of the Fei family are currently on their way to the capital of the Northern Fire Empire" Fang An whispered to the grandfather.

The grandfather was silent for a while and he asked Fang An to follow him. He walked towards his tent. When he got inside the tent Fang An saw a Grandfather again. "The Emperor tricked us" Fei Jierui said to the Grandfather.

"What do you mean?" Grandpa looked confused.

"You're alive?" Fang Qiuran directly hugged Fang An tightly.

"I want you guys to ask this army to side with me, but if they don't want to side with me then I will annihilate them" Fang An spoke seriously.

"Alright I'll give it a try" Fei Jierui went out the tent followed by Fang An and Fang Qiuran.

Fei Jierui gave a sign for all the troops gathered before him. After a while all the troops had lined up neatly before Fei Jierui. "I know that this might surprise you, but I want you to follow me in favor of the Northern Fire Empire" Jierui spoke firmly.

All the soldiers were shocked to hear that. Most felt Fei Jierui had gone mad, but some supported Jierui. There was a commotion inside the army. "Which wants to side with General Jierui standing here, if not stay there" Suddenly Fang An spoke out loudly.

The team instantly silently heard Fang An's words. A while later about 3000 people were already standing on Fang An's side and the rest remained on the side of the Blue Sky Empire. "You guys go inside that fortress carry this badge" Fang An gave the badge that only the Northern Fire Empire Emperor had to Fang Qiuran.

All those who sided with Fang An immediately went towards the fortress of Border Town. Upon seeing them had gone far enough, Fang An let out a powerful murderous aura again. "I still give an opportunity to people who want to change their minds" Fang An said coldly to the troops before him.

After waiting for a while, still none of them moved from his place. "It seems like you guys really don't want to live" Fang An spoke softly then raised his hand upwards. "7 Thunder Sword" Fang An took out one of the high-level moves he mastered. There appeared Seven Swords made of lightning of enormous size above all those troops.

"Qiuran, isn't that the style of the 7 Thunder Sword? but why is the sword that Fang An put out ten times bigger than we can take out?" Fei Jierui knew that it was his mainstay and Qiuran. However the sword they had put out was not as big as the one Fang An had put out just now.

"Don't ask me, I'm also confused" Fang Qiuran did not take her eyes off Fang An. "I didn't expect this strong stance to be issued by someone who was still at the Foundation Development level" Fang Qiuran continued.

Fang An waved his hand down. The swords instantly shot towards the troops very quickly, there was no time to escape for them. In an instant all those troops had become scattered corpses. "Rest in peace" Fang An spoke softly and walked slowly towards Border Town.

Suddenly Fang An sensed something, he felt the power within him overflow. 'Looks like I should make a breakthrough' Fang An sat cross-legged right then and there. He doesn't care what's going on around him.
