The Lord's Concubine

The Lord's Concubine
Simple Request Aksa

"I can't cry! I have to be strong, the weaker I am, the more they will step on me" Farra said inwardly as she took a deep breath and exhaled.

Farra could still hear the words that came out of Vania's mouth to the Lord King. Enough words made Farra's heart feel claustrophobic. Slowly Farra moved away from the place and returned to her work.

Meanwhile at the residence of Aunt Nurmala.

"Smile, Aksa! Today we're moving house. The new house we will occupy later is much bigger and nicer than this house. You're happy, aren't you?" nurmala said to Aksa, who was sitting in her wheelchair.

Aksa lifted her head then looked at Nurmala who was standing beside her wheelchair. "Is Brother Farra there?"

"Huh, Aksa. Farra again, Farra again! Your sister is married and now she has to live with her husband. Why don't you understand, wonder!" nurmala.

Aksa lowered her head. He was very sad because Farra did not come to see him when his brother had promised him.

Just then Ivan and some of his men arrived to help Nurmala move his belongings to the new house he and Aksa would occupy. With her bare face, Nurmala welcomed their arrival.

While people were busy lifting Nurmala's belongings into Pick Up cars, Aksa slowly approached Ivan who was monitoring the work of his men.

"Uncle! Uncle," call Aksa while tugging at Ivan's trousers who is still unaware of the handsome boy's whereabouts.

Ivan was surprised and immediately turned to Aksa. He smiled warmly then crouched down in front of the boy's wheelchair.

"Yes, can you help me?" ivan asked as he stared fixedly at the two slices in deep black.

"Uncle, Aksa misses Farra very much. Can Uncle help Aksa meet him?" the boy looked down with teary eyes at Ivan.

Ivan was moved to hear Aksa's words. He wanted to help her find Farra who now lives with the Lord King. However, he did not dare to refute the King's order forbidding him to bring Aksa to his residence.

Ivan stroked Aksa's head while smiling wryly. "Son, I'm sorry Uncle. Uncle can't help you meet Brother Farra."

Aksa lowered his head and he sobbed back. Aksa was desperate, he did not know where else to complain. No one wants to help him.

Ivan smiled again as he grabbed Aksa's bowed face. "But ... Uncle can help you talk to him through this! How's it?" Ivan showed his phone to the boy and slowly the little smile was on Aksa's handsome face.

"Really, Uncle?" asked Aksa enthusiastically. Let him not be able to look directly at his brother, at least he can still hear his voice. That's what's on the little boy's mind.

"Yes, but not now. Later after Uncle returned to the Lord King's residence. Uncle will call your aunt's phone soon and you can talk to her directly, how?"

"Yes, Uncle! Aksa will," Aksa replied excitedly.

"Good." Ivan soon got up and resumed his duties.

After helping Nurmala move to his new home, Ivan immediately returned to the residence of the Lord King. He wants to fulfill his promise to Aksa.

In a hurry, Ivan met Farra who was still busy with various kinds of work in the magnificent house.

Farra immediately turned her head and looked at the man. "Can I help you, sir?" ask Farra.

Ivan noticed Farra's performance at the time and he felt very concerned. The girl looked so exhausted that even the sweat was still seen pouring from her temple.

"Don't call me 'Master', Miss Farra. Just call me Ivan because I am your subordinate now."

Farra smiled wryly. "I'm very sure that you already know what is the reason Lord King married me, Mr. Ivan. So, it's not appropriate that you call me Miss" Farra replied.

Ivan was silent for a moment but his eyes remained fixed on the girl standing before him. He had almost forgotten his intention to meet the girl.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot."

Ivan pulled out his cell phone from the pocket of the pants he was wearing. The man called Nurmala's mobile number and after connecting, he immediately handed the phone to Farra.

"Speak."

Farra seemed confused, but he still welcomed the flat object from Ivan's hand. Farra put the phone beside her ear and tried to listen to the voice calling her name from across the phone.

"Sister Farra, hello? Did you hear Aksa's voice?" the boy said over and over again.

"Aksa!" peeked Farra while shedding her tears.

"Sister Farra, Aksa kangen," the boy sobbed.

"Yes, Aksa. Brother misses you, too" said Farra as she wiped her tears.

Ivan was still standing at that place while watching Farra who was cool to let go of longing with her favorite sister. Even until Farra ended his call with Aksa, Ivan remained there.

"Thank you, sir." Farra handed the phone back to the man.

Ivan smiled then pushed Farra's hand slowly. "Take that phone for you. Regarding the pulse, I will refill it so you can continue to contact your sister," said Ivan.

"Really?" asked Farra stammeringly.

Ivan nodded quickly. "Yes, keep it well," Ivan replied as he patted Farra on the shoulder. Farra was so moved, even her eyes glazed over at the man.

"Thank you, sir."

"Together."

Ivan immediately went and left Farra who looked very happy because today he could let go of longing with Aksa even though he only heard his voice.
