The Lord's Concubine
Fried Chicken For Aksa

With a happy heart, Farra kept the money that Ivan had given her. He continued to develop his smile while muttering inwardly.

"Sir, today we can buy the fried chicken you want. You can eat well like Aunt Mala."

Farra resumed her work, selling her cakes to buyers. Time passed and did not taste the cakes selling Farra finally ludes. Maybe because today Farra's windfall is good. Usually in hours like this, there are still many cakes left.

Farra tidied up her stall then kept it to where it was before. After finishing packing, Farra immediately left the place.

"Farra first yes, ma'am." Farra said goodbye to one of the Mothers who also complained of fate in that place.

"Yes, Son. Be careful on the road, yeah. Do not forget to pray for Mother's cakes also run out quickly," said the mothers with a warm smile.

"Yes, Mom. I hope your cake runs out soon."

After saying that, Farra immediately set foot towards Aksa's school. Arriving in front of Aksa's school, his sister was still in the classroom. They're still learning and maybe it's their last lesson.

From where Farra was standing, there was the sound of singing from the Kindergarten disciples. The song they always sing when they want to go home. Farra smiled as she peeked at Aksa's class from the school fence. Farra was not alone, many other Mothers were also waiting for their children in front of the school fence.

After the song was finished they sang, the children scrambled to greet their teachers and immediately rushed out of class. They run towards their parents, including Aksa. The handsome boy ran over to Farra with a big smile.

"Sister Farra!"

Aksa stretched out her arms then immediately embraced Farra's body.

"Sister, how's the cake? Did you all do it? Aksa can buy his fried chicken no, sister?" aksa asked with a hopeful face to Farra.

"Yes, Deck. Today we buy fried chicken for Aksa!" sahut Farra is full of enthusiasm.

"Asyikkk, fried chicken!!!" aksa shouted excitedly.

Farra covered her sister's mouth with her hand with a smile.

"Hush, don't be loud, people will hear you, you know!" farra.

"Hust! Yes, yes, brother." Aksa smiled as she put her index finger in front of her lips just like Farra did.

Just now that Farra and Aksa wanted to step on their feet, suddenly the Teacher who taught Aksa called Farra.

"Farra, can we talk to you for a second?"

Farra turned around and approached the bespectacled woman with a beautiful face even though she was no longer young.

"Look, Aksa's monthly money has not been paid for two months and the last limit of payment is the day after tomorrow. I hope Farra can pay it off, yeah. I was afraid that I would be reprimanded by the Headmaster again," said the Teacher while holding Farra's hand.

Farra was silent for a moment while thinking hard. Yes, he had forgotten that Aksa's monthly money had not been paid and Farra was again confused where to find money to pay Aksa's monthly school fees.

"Good, Mom. Farra promised, the day after tomorrow Farra would pay."

Teacher Aksa also spread his smile to Farra. "All right, that's all. Thanks for the time."

After Teacher Aksa left, Farra and Aksa set foot again. Farra's mind raged again at the thought of Aksa's monthly money which he had not paid. Farra did have a little savings, but the savings were for the entrance fee of Aksa school later.

"Sister Farra why? How sad his face looks," asked Aksa while looking at Farra's face at that time.

"Well?!" pekik Farra's. "Son't okay, Deck. Well, there it is. We can buy the food Aksa wants" said Farra, pointing to a food stall.

With enthusiasm, Aksa ran small towards the food stall. The handsome boy peeked at the fried chicken on display by the seller, in a glass cabinet. He gulped his saliva many times while staring at the food.

"Pack one yes, ma'am," Farra told the shop's mother.

"Well, wait a minute, yeah."

The woman who owned the stall immediately wrapped Farra's order and when it was finished, he immediately handed it to the girl. Farra welcomed her, handing over a piece of money to pay for the meal.

"Thank you, Mom."

"Together."

Farra handed it to Aksa and the handsome boy was very happy when he received it. "Thank you, brother!"

"Yes" said Farra with a satisfied smile because he could finally grant one of his sister's wishes so simple.

Finally they arrived at the modest house belonging to Nurmala, the house that had been the place where he and Aksa had been. In front of the terrace of the house, Nurmala was sitting relaxing while sipping a cup of tea.

Farra held tightly to her purse containing the money from selling cakes today. Usually the middle-aged woman always asked him for rations. Not even infrequently, he took all his money and left only a little for the capital to make more cake.

But it doesn't seem to be for today. The woman didn't even care about him and Aksa when she passed by. It was all because Nurmala was happy to enjoy Farra's wedding dowry money with Mr. Hendrik last time.

"You take it easy, Farra! I'm not going to take your money that's not that much because right now I have a lot of money!" nurmala said while chuckling.
