"Bok, mbok."

Jevin raised his voice to call his housemaid, who had only been working for a few weeks to replace the previous housemaid Jevin fired for daring to let Rifda into his house without his permission.

Downstairs it looks like it's uninhabited. Jevin stands on the upper balcony looking down to find his housekeeper who does not immediately appear.

"Bok where the hell is." Jevin clucked resentfully because his housekeeper did not come out of his hiding place. Finally Jevin went down the stairs one by one to look for him.

Kreggs

"Mbok, lunch sa-"

Jevin immediately stopped his words after opening the door of the maid's room. Inside there was an old woman who was fulfilling her duty of performing dzuhur prayer.

Carefully Jevin watched every prayer movement made by the old woman. And his prayers have already reached the salutation. The old woman who was none other than the housekeeper Jevin immediately went to see his employer when he saw Jevin was very focused on paying attention to him more precisely when he was praying.

"Sorry Son Jevin, Mbok was praying, Nak Jevin would want to ask for lunch huh?, Mbok has prepared in Nak Jevin's dining room."

Jevin immediately realized himself who had been focused on staring at Mboknya who was praying. "I-iya Mbok is okay, oh yes Mbok I can ask something the same Mbok?"

Suddenly, Jevin wanted to ask his house assistant something. I don't know what Jevin wants to ask Mboknya also do not understand and can only nod. Permit Jevin to ask questions and Mboknya hope to answer questions from his young employer.

"Mbok why still pray?, Mbok is old, surely God allows Mbok not to pray anymore because of the age factor Mbok is old."

The Mbok smiled sincerely towards Jevin. The wrinkles on his face could no longer be hidden. Although his age is no longer young, but the spirit of Mbok did not fade. Actually Jevin objected to hiring women as old as Mbok to be his housemaid but from the foundation where looking for a housekeeper convinced him that Mbok could work well and Mbok himself was also willing to until in the end Jevin accepted Mbok to be his housemaid.

"Son Jevin, prayer is obligatory, if it is abandoned it will be sinful. Prayer is also the pillar of religion, if we do not pray, then we should believe. Age is not a reason to leave prayers. Even if you are not able to stand can pray in a sitting state if sitting is also not able to then can pray in a lying state and if lying down is also not able then can pray with a signal, and if the prayer with the signal is not able then the prayer can be represented alias disholatkan because the person is dead."

Jevin was surprised when he heard the Mbok's words explaining the obligation to pray even under the worst conditions to do prayer. If it is not able to walk the prayer under any circumstances it means that the person is dead and must be sholated. Actually Jevin already knows the law to leave the prayer even he still remembers the reading and prayer movement because when he was under 20 years old Jevin was diligent in establishing prayers but when he was over 20 years Jevin was no longer diligently mendirikam prayer due to environmental factors where both parents also did not establish prayer because the company was successful so that they forgot to their God.

"Sir Jevin apologized before, Mbok just reminded us, we live in the world for a while, and live in this world is not just busy chasing the world. This world is our place to worship God, one of which is praying. We can be successful in the world but we must also be successful in the hereafter, because in the hereafter we will be eternal life. So we have to have a lot of supplies to go to the afterlife."

Although Mbok has just worked at Jevin's house and only knows Jevin, Mbok already knows the bad side of his young employer, which is not performing the five prayers required by law. Jevin also realized that his Mbok knew himself who had not touched the prayer mat to hold it and sat down before his Lord.

Jevin hesitated to make a sound again but his heart seemed to be in revolt so that he let out his grievances that became the burden of his mind for many days.

"Don't God forgive me for this sin?." Jevin admitted many sins because for approximately ten years did not fulfill his obligation to establish prayer. Jevin is ashamed of Mbok who is old but still able to do prayers while he is still young is not willing to establish prayers anymore. Jevin was even more ashamed of Allah for his saving sins which may have been as big as a mountain because it had been ten years to leave prayer.

The old woman smiled as if giving encouragement to Jevin who was now moping with grief. Jevin was still not calm before Mbok answered his important question.

"Son Jevin, Allah is Forgiving to all His servants. Allah will forgive His servants who have sinned. God willing, God will forgive Jevin's son."

"Mbok seriously?, my sins are many Mbok, even-"

Mbok immediately cut off Jevin's remarks that seemed to be discussing his sin in the past. Jevin seemed to not believe so easily God would forgive him, especially the sins committed by Jevin not a little and Jevin was very aware of it.

"Son Jevin, God is merciful and Merciful, if the Son of Jevin really asks Allah for forgiveness, Allah will forgive the Son of Jevin."

"Yes Mbok, I really want to improve myself, I want to atone for my sins in the past."

Mbok smiled happily. Moved to see Jevin who seemed to really want to improve himself, really want to return to the straight path of God. The great God who guided Jevin.

"Alhamdulillah, then now Nak Jevin goes to the Mosque yes, meet Mr. Ustadz, tell Mr. Ustadz that Nak Jevin wants to repent to God. In shaa Mr. Ustadz will guide Nak Jevin to return again to the straight path."

Jevin nodded confidently, agreeing with Mbok's directive telling him to go to the Mosque. He met Mr. Ustadz who was ready to lead him to repentance, to return to God.

❤❤❤

The car driven by Jevin entered the large, clean courtyard of the Mosque. Jevin parked his car right in front of the sacred building where Muslims gathered before his Lord. Jevin hesitated to get out of his car but slowly Jevin ventured to get out of his car.

The clock shows at 13:12 p.m. That means the dzuhur prayer has been completed and the atmosphere of the mosque looks quiet. Slowly Jevin entered the mosque, Jevin saw a man sitting solemnly facing the Qibla and in front of him was the holy book of the Qur'an.

"A-assalaamu 'aikum." Jevin said his greetings with a little nervous because after a long time had never said a word of greeting.

The man turned his face back. Seeing Jevin standing in the doorway. The man immediately moved and invited Jevin to enter the mosque.

Jevin wears a long-sleeved shirt and long dark jeans in contrast to the man in front of him who looks soothing with his pride clothes, taqwa clothes, sarongs and copy. The man smiled kindly at Jevin as he extended his hand. Slowly Jevin shook the man's hand while returning a friendly smile from the man.

"Can I help you?." Asked the man to open the bullet.

"Meet Mr. ustadz, I'm Jevin."

"Oh yes Mas Jevin, introduce my name Zulkifli, can I help Mas Jevin?"

Jevin nodded slowly. To be honest, Jevin was unable to speak anymore. Even Jevin felt unworthy to be in this holy place. Jevin seemed to be polluting this holy place due to his many sins.

Suddenly, Jevin's eyeball gaze was fixed toward the God's lafadz displayed on the wall right in front of him. Unable to turn Jevin into the holy lafadz, Jevin seemed to be facing his Lord.

Jevin immediately sat down with a gaze still fixed toward the lafadz of God. Zulkifli was shocked to see Jevin's current condition. Zulkifli turned to look back where Jevin's gaze was pointing in that direction.

Now Zulkifli understood, nodding his head. Then he turned back to Jevin and sat down next to Jevin.

"What's wrong with Mas Jevin?, why does Mas Jevin look sad to see the lafadz of God?"

Both of Jevin's eyes glazed over. Unable to hold tightness in his chest after staring at the lafadz of God who did not want Jevin to turn away from the lafadz.

"Sir Ustadz, I am a sinner, I-"

"Enough Mas Jevin, don't open Mas Jevin's disgrace to me, God has covered Mas Jevin's disgrace, and Mas Jevin can't open it."

"But Mr. Ustadz, I am not a good person, I, I want to repent Mr. Ustadz, I want to love my God, I want to love God." Jevin's tears just melt away along with Jevin's last words to love his God.

Zulkifli smiled as he moved. "Allah has given guidance to Mas Jevin. Did Mas Jevin really want to repent?"

Jevin nodded confidently. "Yes Mr. Ustadz, I mean it, I want to be a servant who loves his Lord, a servant who keeps the commandments of God."

"Well then, Jevin must intend in his heart to repent to God simply because Allah is not for anything else."

Jevin placed his hands on his chest and closed his eyes to follow Zulkifli's direction. "I really want to repent to Allah solely for the sake of Allah."

Slowly Jevin opened his eyes. His condition was much calmer than before. At this time Jevin really focuses himself on repenting to God to be the best of man, as well as being the best of a servant.

"Does Mas Jevin still remember the recitation and prayer movement?"

Jevin paused for a moment, thinking about whether he still remembered the reading and prayer. Without realizing Jevin remembered his past that diligently performed prayers and the frequency of congregational prayers with Papa and Mama. But everything changes after their family is rich and Jevin knows love.

"I remember Mr. Ustadz, but some have forgotten."

"Alhamdulillah if Mas Jevin still remembers even though someone has forgotten, wait a minute I get the prayer guide book first."

Zulkifli hurried to leave Jevin to pick up a prayer guide book around the mosque, more precisely on the religious bookshelf available at the mosque.

"Here please Mas Jevin remember back to ya."

"Thank you Mr. Ustadz." Jevin received the prayer guide book and then began to open sheet by sheet to recall the reading and prayer movement that had partially melted from his memory.

Thirty minutes passed. Zulkifli still faithfully accompanied Jevin who was focusing on reading and paying attention to the prayer guide book that was in the hands of Jevin. The prayer guide book has been closed by Jevin that means Jevin has finished learning to remember it again.

"How, did Mas Jevin remember everything?"

Jevin nodded confidently. "Yes Mr. Ustadz now I have remembered it again."

Jevin followed Zulkifli's instructions for ablution first before performing the prayer. Thirty minutes ago Jevin not only studied and paid attention to reading and prayer movements but also studied and paid attention to the ordinances of ablution, and now is the time for Jevin to practice it of course with the guidance of Zulkifli.

Currently Jevin and Zulkifli are already in ablution. Jevin rolled both sleeves up to his elbows as well as the jeans he wore, raised to above the knees.

"Please start Mas Jevin." Zulkifli invited Jevin to begin ablution.

Before starting ablution, do not forget Jevin said basmalah first, then Jevin began to light his water faucet, wash his hands three times, gargle, and then start to turn on the water faucet, wash his nose and slowly put his palms together to stir a shower of water in the faucet. Once fully charged then splash into his face slowly. Fresh and cool is what felt by Jevin on the part of his face that was washed with ablution water.

Jevin has finished ablution then continued by reading prayer after ablution as he had learned in the prayer guidebook.

Details of ablution water that adorns the face of Jevin as if to cause a ray on the face of his handsome. Even Jevin looks more fresh and calm like the water that was used for ablution.

"Mas Jevin please pray repentance."

"Good Mr. Ustadz."

When they had re-entered the mosque, Zulkifli invited Jevin to immediately pray repentance.

Jevin immediately prepared himself to perform 2 rakaat prayers. Slowly Jevin also implied ihram while saying "Allahu Akbar."

Jevin was so solemn and calm in his prayers, as if he was really face to face with his Lord. Jevin felt that now he was resting before his Lord, so he should be solemn and calm.

His prayers have now reached Salam. Slowly Jevin raised both his hands. Praying and communicating to his God whom he had never done.

Jevin's tears just decayed. Jevin had no power to hold back his cries when God had given him the opportunity to sit down before Him. It felt that Jevin did not deserve to communicate to his Lord for the sins he had committed. But Jevin remembered the words of the Mbok who said that Allah is All-Forgiving. Allah will forgive the sins of His servants if His servants have truly repented.

"God, I am a sinner, it is not appropriate for me to sit down before You. Today I truly repent to You, O God. Please accept my repentance, forgive my many sins and make me Your servant who believes and fears. Aamiin yes robbal alamiin."

"Astaghfirullahal adzim, astaghfirullahal adzim, Astaghfirullahal adzim."

There was no stopping the two lips of Jevin who miserly, beristighfar to the Creator, begging for forgiveness for all sins in the past.

"Sir Ustadz." Jevin turned to look at Zulkifli who was still faithfully sitting beside him. Paying attention to himself who has finished praying repentance then ends by praying for forgiveness to Allah.

"Thank God today Mas Jevin has received a guidance given by God specifically to Mas Jevin. And in the Lord, Allah has accepted the repentance of Mas Jevin and Allah has forgiven the sins of Mas Jevin. In the Shaytah of Allah now Mas Jevin has become a servant who believes in Allah."

"Aamiin, thank you Mr. Ustadz." Without hesitation Jevin immediately embraced Zulkifli as a form of gratitude for having led him to repent, return to God.

"Together Mas Jevin, may in the future Mas Jevin istiqomah in the way of Allah."

"Aamiin's." Jevin again guaranteed Zulkifli a special prayer for him.

"Faith is sometimes up and down, if in the middle of the journey later, Mas Jevin's faith down is common, but Mas Jevin must rise soon so that the faith can go back up and stable."

Jevin nodded his head while intending in him to continue raising and adding to his faith. And if his faith is really down Jevin will remember the advice of Zulkifli to immediately raise his faith again.

Thank God, today Jevin is thankful that God has been kind to him. Give himself guidance that not all of His servants God gives. Because the guidance really belongs to God. Humans cannot intervene in terms of providing guidance. And there is only one way to get guidance from Allah, which is to earnestly take that direction until God finally breaks down and gives it. Invite the direction by straightening the intention, earnestly improving yourself to become a servant of faith. The direction is not awaited because Allah will not change the fate of his servant unless his own servant changes his fate. As Allah says in Surah Ar-Ra'd verse 11

إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ

"Surely Allah does not change the state of a people until they change what is in themselves"
