❤❤❤
This week's weekend, Jevin and Kasha spend the day visiting the homes of Jevin's parents, Rozin and Rifda. This is the first time Kasha has visited her in-laws' house. Understandably her husband is busy so only now can visit the house where her husband grew up.
"Assalaamu 'alaikum."
"Wa 'alaikumus salaam."
Rozin and Rifda welcomed the arrival of his son and daughter-in-law with a happy twinkle. They embrace Kasha and Jevin. Rozin hugs Jevin, Rifda hugs Kasha.
"Mama is equally Papa healthy?." Jevin asked after hugging his parents briefly.
"Thank God we are healthy."
"Especially after your arrival, Mama became the spirit." Rifda said with a smile that emanated never faded after the arrival of the child and his daughter-in-law.
"Well, come on in, let's get Kasha inside."
Kasha nodded obediently. Then follow along when Rifda embraces him and takes him inside. Rozin also invites Jevin into their house.
"Honey, he said something to give to Mama." After sitting down, Jevin reminded Kasha who to his father-in-law's house brought a goody bag that was planned to be given to his mother-in-law.
Rifda turned her head towards Kasha who was sitting right beside her. "What did Kasha bring for Mama?, why bother anyway."
Kasha remembered and immediately gave her goody bag to Rifda. Rifda happily accepted it even Rifda impatiently wanted to open it. This was the first time he had gotten anything from his son-in-law so it was only natural that he was so enthusiastic.
"It's for Mama."
"Thank you Kasha." Rifda took Kasha into her arms. A mother's loving embrace to her child.
Kasha is very happy. The affectionate embrace of Rifda gave comfort and calmness in his heart. This is what it feels like to be embraced by a mother, even though she is not a real mother, but Kasha is already very happy. And Kasha was thankful that God sent Kasha a mother-in-law who loved her like she loved her own child.
Slowly Rifda opened the goody bag that the contents of the game suit+khimar syari in navy with a Quranic exegetical book that Jevin had read. Rifda was happy to get it.
It's not just the Rifda who gets their hands off Kasha. But Rozin also got a goody bag from Jevin which contained a suit of dress+navy color taqwa pants along with a book of exegesis of the Quran. Jevin and Kasha deliberately bought both their parents a pair of shari'a plus a book of exegesis of the Quran because they wanted to invite both parents to be servants of faith and fear Allah subhanahu wata'ala.
"Papa Mama tried dong dress, Jevin same Kasha want to see."
Rifda turned to her husband and nodded her head as if she wanted to follow Jevin's request to try on the clothes bought by Jevin and Kasha.
Rozin and Rifda went from their seats to their room to try on the clothes bought by the child and his daughter-in-law. Jevin and Kasha throw each other smiles. Not only a smile but Jevin immediately moved to the place right next to his wife, sitting while embracing Kasha while waiting for his parents to return. Kasha could only shake her head to see the husband who could not stay away from her.
Three minutes later. Simultaneously Rozin and Rifda came out of his room. Both appear to shine with the shari clothes he wore, especially Rifda who is now dressing his head with khimar syari. Very beautiful and elegant.
Jevin and Kasha are stunned to see a couple in front of him. Rozin and Rifda seemed comfortable wearing their silk clothes without the slightest complaint.
"God, Mama is beautiful." Kasha said praising the beauty of the mother-in-law who is increasing when wearing shari'a clothes.
"Yes Ma, Jevin to pangling really see Mama." Continue Jevin who does not want to lose to praise the Mama.
"It's only Mama that's praised, Papa isn't praised?." Rozin raved not to accept because he did not get praised even though Rozin had also changed into a suit of cocoa clothes given by Jevin.
"Papa must be handsome Pa, no doubt about it." Jevin praised Rozin for not babbling anymore.
The atmosphere also became cheerful with laughter that sprung up. Rifda hugged Kasha again which seems to be from now on Jevin will lose to Rifda about hugging Kasha.
❤❤❤
Kasha brought a tray of fresh mango juice to the living room where Rifda was focusing on reading the tafsir book she had just obtained from her son-in-law. Jevin and Rozin were not at home they went to the mosque to pray dzuhur congregation, while Rifda and Kasha five minutes ago had finished praying dzuhur congregation at home, and Kasha the imam prayed with the Mama-in-law.
"Mama, this is the mango juice to drink first." Kasha put a glass of mango juice on the table right in front of Rifda.
Rifda closed the book. Then look towards the mango juice and Kasha alternately. Kasha chose to sit next to her mother-in-law.
"Kasha really bothers."
"Kasha don't bother Ma, come on Ma please drink."
Rifda happily sipped the juice of mango fruit made by Kasha with little by little. Fresh taste immediately felt in his throat. This son-in-law knows if during the day like this it is good to drink fresh juice but still healthy.
"Alhamdulillah, the fresh juice of Kasha, just know this Kasha if Mama is thirsty."
Kasha smiled sweetly seeing Rifda very happy to be made juice by him. Maybe this is nothing compared to the sincerity of Rifda who is willing to accept Kasha as her son-in-law. Honestly, Kasha also prayed to Allah that she be given in-laws who love her, because according to Kasha it is useless if only her husband loves her but her in-laws do not love her. And now Kasha is thankful that God has been kind to her, giving her a prayer that Kasha has never let go of.
At that moment the atmosphere became quiet. Rifda grabbed Kasha's hand and gently stroked it, saying. "Kasha, Mama wants to say many thanks to you, you are the light to our family, your presence unites our family again. Even because you're Jevin's changed. Mama is so grateful to have a daughter-in-law as good as you are Kasha, you are a sholihah son-in-law."
Kasha shook her head slowly. Kasha felt that the words of the mother-in-law were very excessive to her. Kasha does not dislike the linking of Rifda just like it sounds excessive.
"Mama, don't thank Kasha, but thank God, Jevin changed because of Allah, not because of Kasha, Kasha just as an intermediary."
Rifda understands the soft-pitched speech of Kasha. Rifda is more grateful because Kasha is a humble woman. He is not big-headed because Rifda praises him constantly just Kasha can not say that all this because of the power of God is not because of him. That's what makes Rifda love her favorite daughter-in-law even more.
"Yes Kasha, Mama thanks Allah, Mama thanks Allah, but Mama also has to thank you, you are an intermediary from God who gives light to this family. Thank you, my son-in-law."
Kasha nodded her head while smiling sincerely. Kasha received a thank you from Rifda because Rifda had already thanked and thanked Allah as Kasha reminded him earlier.
"Assalaamu 'alaikum."
"Wa 'alaikumus salaam."
When Kasha and Rifda were throwing smiles at each other, both men came to them. The two men who are none other than Rozin and Jevin are wondering to see their two women who throw smiles at each other.
"Secret to Kasha, Jevin, and Papa can't know." Said Rifda who first opened his voice than Kasha.
Jevin sighed. He did not run out of ways to find out the chat with his wife who said secret.
"Honey, tell dong, I'm curious."
Kasha just smiled seeing Jevin seem curious. Then Kasha turned her head towards Rifda who shook her head to signal to her not to tell Jevin. As a result Jevin immediately hugged Kasha tightly from the side. Kasha was surprised instead of playing even her eyes widened staring at Jevin who was smiling satisfied with victory.
"Please let go, I don't feel good to see Mom and Dad." Bisik Kasha slowly. Because she was so embarrassed when Mama and her father-in-law saw their romantic scene.
"Who told Mas not to be told, anyway for what to be ashamed anyway Darling, Mama and Papa happy tuh see us romantic like this, yes Ma-"
Kasha immediately shut Jevin's mouth which casually spoke like that. Both of Kasha's cheeks immediately flushed reddening the embarrassment caused by the husband's ridiculous behavior that could not be guessed before.
Rifda and Rozin's laughter melts Kasha's violent mood due to a merciless hug from her husband.
"Jevin hugged her, pity her sholihah son-in-law Mama was asphyxiated."
Finally Jevin ended his hug with his wife. Then make sure that the wife is not short of breath and fine. Kasha also let out her breath that had been panting because she rebelled to escape from the arms of her husband's death.
"Oh yeah, there's something you want to talk about, especially Papa."
The atmosphere became quiet and serious. Rifda wants to talk to her family members, especially her husband, Rozin. As a child, Jevin was immediately made to wonder.
"What do you want to talk to?." Rozin asked who had been silent since.
Rifda moved from her seat. Approaching the husband who has been standing since. Rifda grabbed Rozin's hand gently. A sweet smile was engraved on her beautiful face that was inedible by age.
"Pa's."
"By saying bismillah Mama wants to close the aurat, Mama wants to hijab, Papa allows Mama right to close the aurat like Kasha, our sholihah son-in-law?"
Jevin and Kasha had already responded to Rifda's words intending to close her aura. They both said "Alhamdulillah." Simultaneously.
Rifda is very happy to see her son and daughter-in-law respond well to her good intentions who want to carry out Allah's command as a Muslim woman who closes her aura.
Now Rifda again looked at Rozin whose face was still flat as if he had not yet responded to the good intentions that Rifda had just conveyed.
Slowly Rozin developed his smile to his beloved wife. "Papa allowed Mama, with pleasure."
"Alhamdulillah." Said Rifda gratefully and followed by Jevin who was no less grateful because his Papa allowed Mama to close her aura.
"Thank you pa, you've allowed Mama to close the aurat."
"Sama-sama Ma, closing the law is an obligation so Papa should have allowed Mama."
Now a couple who have lived together for decades and even been blessed with a handsome Son Jevin embrace each other with a newness.
Not just them. Jevin and Kasha are moved and Jevin hugs Kasha tightly. Kasha was not shy anymore to hug the husband who had succeeded in spreading guidance to both parents. Now both Jevin and Kasha pray together that both their parents will be in the way of Allah. To keep the commandments of God and to avoid his prohibitions.
