The Love Flakes of Nauvara

The Love Flakes of Nauvara
Meet Fero

Vara pensively thought about Rangga's question this afternoon which was still ringing in his ears. The kids went to bed an hour ago. Vara was standing in front of her bedroom window looking at the roaring sky that night, it seemed like it was going to rain, she thought.

When are we getting married?

The question always swirled in his head. Vara closed both eyes followed by breathing increasingly heavy. Is marrying Rangga the right solution for now, he thought. Considering her children are so happy to meet her father, it feels like Vara wants to see her children are always happy like that every day.

Deringan mobile phone diverts Vara from his daydream, just immediately he snatched the phone that was near the window table of his room. Fero's name is on there. Immediately Vara shifted the green color icon on the screen of his phone.

"Hallo, Assalamu'alaikum."

"Wa'alaikumussalam, am I interrupting your bedtime, Ra?"

"No, I just happen to not have slept Fer."

"I thought you were asleep, Ra. You usually go to bed at this hour."

"I can't sleep Fer yet, hehehe. Oh yeah, did you call Fer?"

"Look Ra, do you have time tomorrow? There's something I want to talk to you about, Ra."

"Why don't you just come to the cafe like usual, Fer?"

"What if we just talked outside Ra, can you?"

"Alright, meet in the park just plain Fer! I'll wait there at four."

"Okay Ra, I close first! It's a good dream, Ra!"

"Thank you Fer"

"Assalamu'alaikum"

"Wa'alaikumussalam Warahmatullahi Westarakatuh."

Vara put back the phone she held after her conversation with Fero ended. Tumben-tumbenan Fero invited him to meet outside, he thought.

It was raining that night, followed by thunder and lightning after. Vara closed the window curtain that she partially opened. The night wind that felt piercing his skin also made Vara's body shake with cold. Vara decided to lay down her tired body in her bed and began to close her eyes slowly hoping that as the morning greeted her he had gotten the right decision for the future of his two children.

Cafe visitors looked crowded that afternoon, Vara seemed to be troubled to help the waiter serve visitors from among students who arrived not as usual. There seems to be a massive tract from one of the town's children who is on his birthday today, a conclusion Vara caught after Vara listened to some welcome from his friends.

The atmosphere of the cafe looks crisp by the laughter of students who have finished enjoying the food they ordered. The look on Vara's face that was enjoying the scenery that he wanted to feel at that time also turned sad, if he could continue his education at that time, surely he would feel the pleasure of living the days of being a student. But that thought quickly brushed aside when he saw his two sons walking towards him, it seemed like they had just woken up from their nap.

Yura immediately stretched out her two tiny hands asking to be carried by Vara. "Mother, Yula wants to drink shusyu." Rengek Yura while leaning her face on Vara's shoulder.

Vara smiled at the behavior of her little girl who was always adorable every day. "So soon did you make it first, brother Aidan want to drink milk too dear?" Gofa Vara who knows that his son really does not like to drink milk as much as he does.

Aidan rolled his eyeballs looking at his mother who always liked to tease him. "No, mother." He panted.

Vara stroked Aidan's hair which was always a mess after sleeping. "Yes, mother just take water for Aidan." Vara softly said.

His son was very irritable in speaking, his cold face always reminded Vara of his father. It seems like Rangga's blood is indeed very swift flowing in Aidan's body, he thought. Vara chuckled to himself with that thought.

Vara went to the kitchen after sitting Yura in the chair she was in. It was fortunate that Yura did not whine asking her father to meet her that day. Vara had been giving understanding since morning to his son about Rangga who could not meet them today. Because this morning before leaving for cafe Rangga had contacted Vara if today he was very busy with a big project that will be handled.

The clock shows three o'clock. Vara who was just aware of his promise to meet with Fero today immediately rushed to get ready because the journey time to the park takes half an hour if it does not get stuck.

"Where are you going Ra?" Ask the astonished mother to see her son in a hurry.

Vara put a helmet on her head quickly. "You met Fero in the garden ma'am." Answer Vara quickly.

Mom nodded in wonder. "Well, why don't you just meet here, Ra? He usually meets you and the kids here."

Vara shrugged both of her shoulders. "Come on ma'am, maybe there's something she should talk about together without the kids. I'll know if Fero comes Yura directly to sit with him." Vara explained.

Mother nodded in understanding. "Well, Ra, be careful on the road. Janga's been home too long. Later Yura can go berserk looking for your whereabouts." Say mom while stroking Vara's shoulder.

"Vara try not to go home at night ma'am, if so Vara tipped the children yes ma'am! Now they're playing with their friends in the shop next door."

"You just calm down, Ra. Mother would take good care of them if Yura did not bring out her fangs." Mother chuckles.

Vara chuckles at her mother's words. "Mother is there, Vara left first, ma'am." Vara said after poking her mother's cheek.

"Yes, Ra. Don't speed!"

Vara nodded and passed from before mother to her favorite motorcycle.

The heat of the sun was still felt that afternoon, sometimes Vara saw the light that penetrated into the glass of his helmet. Vara propelled his bike at medium speed. Fortunately, the college boy had not come home, so he could ride a motorcycle while enjoying the scenery around the road that he passed quietly.

Arriving at the park, he saw Fero was waiting for him with a work shirt still attached to his body. Vara glanced at her watch, still less than 10 minutes from the promised time. With a quick step Vara approached Fero and sat down next to him after smiling at Fero first.

"It's been a long time Fer?" Vara's asking is not good.

Fero smiled at the unpleasant look on his face. "Not yet, I'm new too, Ra." Answer Fero.

"Didn't you work Fer?"

Fero shook his head while tidying up Vara's slightly messy hair. "Gue wasn't too busy today Ra. Before I got here, my job was done, so calm down.

Vara cleared his throat to make Fero aware of his actions.

"Eh, sorry." Fero said it was bad.

Vara simply nodded with a red hue that had already appeared on both of her smooth cheeks. "So what do you want to talk to me about with Fer?" Vara asked to shift her nervousness.

"It's about us, Ra." Said Fero which made Vara gasp at hearing it.
