The sun that was originally poking on the eastern horizon slowly moved up emitting a warm glow. Coinciding with Edgar who finished sweeping the yard, came Juna who brought a large compound filled with water.
Edgar feels himself indebted to Juna and Lisa. The brand has twice saved him. So that now he will repay their kindness in any way.
Edgar took the initiative to help Juna bring the company into the house. However, Lisa screamed in restraint.
“You don't bring that company!”
“No problem. I can drag it into the house,” Esgar insisted.
Lisa shook her head, “You don't do any strenuous physical activity! You're still in recovery post-surgery.”
Hearing that, Juna commented a smile. From Juna's glasses, Lisa and Edgar have revealed familiarity.
Not wanting Edgar to feel flattered, Lisa hurriedly added, “If something happens to you, we will also be bothered.”
“Then what should I do? You said I had to compensate you for your money using my energy.”
“You feed the chicken only. The chicken feed is behind the house.”
Edgar did not argue. He immediately stepped into the chicken coop and obeyed Lisa's orders.
While Juna will go to the market to sell sweet potatoes that were harvested yesterday by Lisa and Edgar. Not long after, came a fat lady who walked over rather hastily.
The fat woman named Ema gasps because indeed to get to Lisa's house, she has to pass through the fields of the villagers.
“When will the roads in our village be repaired? I had slipped a stone,” complained Ema on the sidelines of her who was adjusting her breath.
“Bu Ema what's wrong? We go inside first.”
“No, Lisa. I was in a hurry. I want to buy a chicken, but I have the chicken cut and cleaned. Later direct delivery to my house.”
The smile on Lisa's lips was perfect when she heard the words of Ema who wanted to buy chicken on her. He nodded his head, responding to Ema's request.
After Ema's departure, Lisa ran to the back of the house where there was Edgar was sowing feed that became the scramble for chickens.
“Edgar has good news. Somebody wants to buy chicken.”
Edgar just turned to Lisa who was now staring at her chickens one by one. Lisa's gaze examined each chicken while tapping her index finger to her chin.
Lisa was thinking hard, then she pointed at one fat hen.
“You caught that chicken! While I'll take the knife in the kitchen.”
In the next second, Lisa burst into the house without even listening to Edgar who wanted to protest.
Edgar was worried. He's amnesiac. His real name alone he did not know, let alone had the experience of catching chickens.
Edgar took a breath. Then he walked silently behind the chicken, both hands he stretched out ready to catch the chicken meant by Lisa.
Hup.
Edgar caught the empty air, because the chicken ran away. Not wanting to give up, Edgar also launched a second experiment. Unfortunately, they failed again.
Edgar was frustrated and became impatient. He ran chasing chickens that actually made other chickens crowed rowdy.
“Edgar, have you caught ay..”
Once back from home, Lisa's body pecked at the spot looking at Edgar who was overwhelmed catching one chicken. One hand clasped the knife and one hand cupped the mouth holding the laughter.
Laughter broke out of Lisa's mouth when she saw Edgar was pecked by a chicken in the buttocks and now turned around he was being chased by a chicken.
Amidst his feud with the chickens, Edgar glanced at Lisa who was laughing. The young girl laughed off as if her life was no burden at all.
And that was enough to make Edgar fixated on staring at Lisa. To the extent that he forgot if there was a chicken hanging on the top of his head and dropped dirt there.
Instantly Edgar felt his body ring strangely and his heart beat faster as Lisa approached with the rest of the laughter still on her lips.
“Capture one chicken only until it's so excited.” Lisa flicked her hands to chase away the chicken on Edgar's head.
“Clean your head first, then help me slaughter chicken!”
Edgar didn't say much. He immediately washed his hair with running water, put on shampoo to make it smell lost, then dried it using a towel.
Then, he returned to the back of the house, right next to Lisa who grasped a bag of chicken feed.
“See this! Easy way to catch chicken.”
Lisa sprinkles the feed into the ground and within seconds all the chickens crisscrossing in front of her snatch each other's food.
Lisa looked up at Edgar while commenting on the triumphant smile.
“Easy right? Now help hold her legs and wings.”
“Like this?” Edgar asked as he hesitantly grasped the chicken.
“Hold strong!”
Edgar tightened his grip. Lisa's left hand blocked the head of the chicken, while her right hand held a knife ready to slaughter the chicken's neck.
Lisa did not slaughter. The look on his face showed doubt as well as sadness.
“Why do you look so sad?” edgar asked in a slightly annoyed tone from the long wait.
“You know, he's a chicken that I've cared for since he was an egg.” Lisa stared softly at the chicken in both of their hands.
Edgar just clucked and turned the lazy eyeball, “You should be happy. After he's dead you'll get the money, right?”
Lisa's eyeballs rounded perfectly, then threw a glance at Edgar.
“Hai, even though I am a calculating girl but somehow I still have a conscience, know,” Lisa snapped indignantly.
Edgar realized there was something different about him. If yesterday he would argue back when Lisa snapped at him, now Edgar is silent again glancing at the girl in front of him.
One new thing Edgar knows about Lisa. She was a gentle-hearted woman behind her fierce attitude. Even to slaughter a chicken, he felt unbearable.

At night, the dinner menu is a little more special than yesterday. Now at the dining table served rice with fried tempe as a side dish.
Edgar, Lisa and Juna sat on a small dining table chair. They ate without anyone opening a conversation.
Each of them really enjoyed a dinner that became a filler after being drained all day.
Juna was the first to finish dinner. He sipped some water, and stood up.
“Tonight Dad has business at the village chief's house. Lisa, you take good care of yourself.”
Juna threw a glance at Edgar, slapped the man on the shoulder, and smiled.
“You too, Edgar. Enough rest.”
After Juna left, Edgar also left the dining table intending to go to the room to rest his tired body.
Lisa chose to read a book on the living room couch. Then the sound of knocking on the door, makes Lisa amazed at the guests who come in late at night.
Lisa opened the door. However, as soon as he saw the man in front of him, immediately he tried to close it again.
“What do you want, Roy? My father is not home,” exclaimed Lisa with a voice trembling with fear.
Roy singed a grin while holding back all his strength so that the door did not close. The man with thick eyebrows laughed.
“Juna is not home? Goody. Means it's just the two of us here.”
Roy exerts all his power to break down the door that finally opens wide and makes Lisa fall on the floor.
Roy knelt down, scrutinizing each curve of Lisa's body from bottom to top with a hungry look. Wanting to feel she flicked the shabby long skirt that the beautiful girl was wearing.
Lisa's body trembled. Roy prevents Lisa from waking up, and she is unable to dwell because she has been under the confinement of a man who has three wives.
“Women as beautiful as you do not deserve to wear clothes that if in my house have been made napkin.”
Roy's hand grasped the tip of the skirt, but Lisa was also equally strong to hold Roy's hand so as not to continue his actions.
“Keep your hands off my clothes!” furious Lisa.
Chees.
Lisa spat right on Roy's face which actually made Roy anger ignited, then retaliated by tearing off the skirt worn by Lisa.
Bret down!
“Aarrgghh.”
