The Part 111

When William was about to go to sleep after being given medication by Freya, his phone rang and and William immediately grabbed his phone on the nightstand. William frowned in surprise when a foreign number was printed on his cellphone but he answered with a thumping feeling, hoping it was Sarah.

"Hallo.." said William.

"Hello, Sir. I'm Mia, Mr. Devano's secretary" William's getting confused getting a call from Devano's secretary.

"What's up, Mia?" ask William later.

"So begin, sir. There was a very important meeting with a client from abroad about his project Mr. Devano had planned since a year ago. I can not contact Mr. Devano and this meeting has twice I cancel, if now it must be canceled again then this project will be canceled. While Mr. Devano has spent a lot of funds for this big project "the long speech of Mia was tucked into a panic tone, because like her this project is indeed very important.

"So?" ask William later.

"Can Mr. William represent Mr. Devano? Because his client only wants to meet with Mr. Devano or the person directly represented by Mr. Devano. I beg you, Sir..."

"Vevano's friend Juan?"

"I did contact Mr. Juan earlier, but he was holding a meeting as well. Mr. Juan asked me to call you, sir"

William massaged his temple firmly, he could only sigh heavily.

"In addition to being stupid, annoying, it turns out that Devano is troublesome as well" William murmured resentfully.

"Why, Sir? I beg you, Sir. The company will lose a lot if this project is canceled" Mia's voice sounds very desperate.

"When's the meeting? I don't understand the problem with that project, Mia"

"There's still an hour and a half left, sir. I have prepared the file for the meeting, very detailed. Mr. William just learned a little, and please, sir. Tell me that Mr. William represents Mr. Devano on a direct order from Mr. Devano"

"Yes, send it to my email now" William said.

"Good, Sir. Thank you very much"

William immediately disconnects his phone and along with it Freya back into his room.

"Loh, haven't slept?" ask Freya.

"I'm going to the office, honey. Please get my shirt and suit ready"

"Will, don't work yet. You still have to rest" Freya pinta.

"Just for a second, Fe. It's important"

"But, William...."

"Come, Honey. Just a meeting after that I went straight home, okay? Or do you want to take me to Devano's office?"

"Devano's office?"

"Later to tell me, now get my clothes ready"

Freya was no longer able to reject the wishes of her husband, while William who had received an email from Mia immediately studied the project in question. And William was a little surprised because the project was very important and also needed very large funds, William never thought how could Devano ignore it.

After William was ready, he immediately went out and found his Mama who looked ready to go too.

"Where are you going, Ma?" ask William.

"You go to Devano's house, Mama is worried about her situation" Venita said.

"Think about it, Ma. Let me go there" exclaimed William.

"But you're sick again, Will"

Freya and William headed straight to Devano's office, where they were greeted by Mia and Mia brought her two into William's room.

"How long has Devano been in the office?" william asked as he landed his ass in Devano's oversized chair.

"About two weeks" Mia replied "And this is to help with the meting later, sir" she handed William another file.

And when the meeting will begin soon, William felt doubt that he could lead the way of this meeting and give satisfactory results. Because he does not know about the Devano project but from what he learned, William can understand in outline.

The meeting was started with William accompanied by Mia, and true William's guess, he could not get satisfactory results from the meeting. But at least there is a bright spot that the project will not be canceled. William also managed to convince them that next week they will meet directly with Devano.

After reaching the agreement, they ended the meeting and William could breathe a sigh of relief.

"Take a look at that stupid boy." William growled.

"Thank you very much, sir" said Mia and she seemed pleased with William's help "Since a month ago, Mr. Devano overwhelmed me, sir. But worst of all since the last two weeks, Mr. Devano has completely left the company and only me and Dominic have taken care of him as much as we can" Mia said sadly.

William and Mia return to Devano's room and Freya is already waiting there.

"I'll make sure your boss is back at work tomorrow morning" William said, which made Mia even more happy.

"When's the meeting?" ask Freya.

"Walking smoothly even though I had a little trouble" replied William "Darling, now we go to Devano's house"

"On one condition!" freya asserted quickly "No more brawl, okay?"

"Okey, anyways I don't have the energy to fight" replied William who would make Freya a little calm.

Upon arriving at Devano's house, they were immediately greeted by Bi Eni and Lolly.

"Didn't Madame Venita come?" ask Bi Eni.

"Engga, Mama needs a break. Let me talk to Devano" said William and heard that Bi Eni seemed worried, he was afraid that two young men who were still bleeding hot with heavy emotions that even added to the problem. But Bi Eni had no other choice, he only hoped William could persuade Devano and his two could decrease their respective egos.

Upon entering Devano's house, William and Freya flick their hands in front of their faces because they smell the pungent smoke.

"Do you guys want to clean the house?" ask William.

"Clean clean, sir. But Mr. Devano smokes incessantly" Lolly replied.

"Indeed he wants to die of cancer" William muttered then he and Freya went up to the second floor to Devano's room with Lolly and Bi Eni followed.

Arriving in front of the room, William immediately bangs on his door hard.

"Devano, get out, Dev.." cried William, Freya also pulled William back because William instead of her seemed to be persuading Devano instead he looked more like he wanted to fight again.

"That's not the way it is." whispered Freya, then she knocked on the door twice and called Devano "Dev, this is Freya. Open the door." cried Freya meekly. They waited but there was no sign Devano would open the door.

"Retreat.." exclaimed William who was reluctant in a meek way, then he broke down the door and instantly it made Devano immediately woke up from his sleep.

When the door opened, they were all shocked by Devano's room filled with cigarette smoke because the windows were closed tightly and the hordes were not opened, makes the room very stuffy what else with cigarette smoke that fills the room. They even had to cover their mouths and their noses wouldn't breathe in that really unhealthy cigarette smoke.

"Whether you're here, huh?" devano shouted at William...
