"The girl William was chasing that night was my sister, Caitlin"

Sarah stared in disbelief at Devano. He stared right in Devano's eyes as if looking for lies or jokes there, but all he found was honesty.

"You mean?" sarah asked half a whisper. Devano took a breath and exhaled slowly, he got up from his seat. Walking towards the window and staring out there that was getting dark, the night was coming soon and the sun was slowly sinking.

"The girl that William was after was Caitlin, Sarah. I don't know how Caitlin got to the highway while William was on the subway" Devano said. Sarah stood up and approached Devano. He turned Devano's body until now facing him.

"Then how do you know the girl that Will's after is Caitlin? Did Caitlin say anything? And why did he leave Will's sister? Who did this to them? And why are you hiding all this?" sarah's back-to-back questions leave Devano clueless as to what to answer and where to tell her. While Sarah's expression in asking the question made Devano tense, Sarah seemed to hold back her anger and disappointment.

"I don't know where to tell him from" Devano said in a soft voice.

"A very reasonable reason, Dev.." exclaimed Sarah in a high voice "You've been friends with Brother William for more than three years, you know Papa and Mama are looking for the girl. And until now they didn't know the girl who made Brother William almost die...."

"It's almost still, Sarah.." sizzled Devano sharply "But my sister is dead, she hasn't woken up since that day" he continued and now he looks at Sarah with so much sadness. Sarah's heart gasped at Devano's words implying the great wound, what else Caitlin not only get violence but also abuse that ended up taking lives.

Devano returned to the edge of the bed, he sat there languidly.

"So from the beginning you knew about Kak Will's case? And when I told you, you pretended to be surprised. Though you know what Brother William is going through" Sarah said in a low voice. Devano immediately looked up and looked at Sarah. He nodded firmly and said

"I don't know, Sarah. I don't even know William is currently amnesiac" Devano replied. Once again Sarah looked at Devano's two beads to look for lies there, but no matter how deep Sarah tried to dive into Devano's gaze, she only found an honesty.

"Then why are you hiding all this at least from me, Dev?" ask Sarah again.

"I'm..." Devano sighed heavily "Did William remember Caitlin?" devano asked and Sarah shook her head "Do you know what even the girl's name looks like?" devano asked again and Sarah shook her head. Devano smiled faintly, he got out of bed and approached Sarah who was still standing still "Then what's the point of me telling her all about it, dear?" devano asked again in a very soft voice.

He stroked Sarah's cheek as if to tease her, attracting her attention. While Sarah could only remain silent and return Devano's sad gaze "Caitlin said nothing to me except one word, that of William. Before her end she lost her consciousness and until she died"

"You mean?" ask Sarah again.

"At that time, maybe Caitlin managed to escape from the subway tracks until she got to the highway. And the one word he said was William, maybe he wanted to tell me about William who was still there" Devano said heartily.

"Then why don't you look for Will's sister?" ask Sarah again.

"I've been looking for it" Devano replied calmly "But I don't find any traces, I also don't know where the attack took place and William who was with Caitlin. L'm... I just found out that William Caitlin meant my friend, William Fergueson after you told me about the incident that happened to William"

While Sarah, she tries to believe in Devano. And the reason Devano gave her all makes sense.

If Devano doesn't know who William is referring to Caitlin, it makes sense. Because Sarah and her family also don't know Sweetie Catty who William meant at the time. That's what's on Sarah's clear mind right now, she's trying to think positively and match Devano's answer to what Sarah knows.

"Why? You're mad at me, hm?" devano whispered as she stroked Sarah's cheek very gently. He looked at Sarah so softly "I beg you not to be angry, Sarah. I don't mean anything, I just don't know where else William would remember anything from" Devano said.

"I'm not angry" said Sarah who makes Devano's heart like in a water flush so cool "I'm just surprised by this fact and I don't think it turns out that the girl that makes us curious is your sister" said Sarah.

"I'm just as surprised, too, dear.." jawba Devano tried to convince "But it's over, William didn't need to remember Caitlin. Now he has a new and happy life with Freya. I don't think we need to bring up this issue again, please"

"But Papa Mama deserves to know, Dev. All this time they asked who the girl was, whether the girl left William or whether the girl was still alive or not. It became a burden for them, what else the incident made Brother William to amnesia and have trauma"

"We'll tell them, I promise" exclaimed Devano and he hugged Sarah tightly "Thank you, thank you very much, dear" whispered Devano happily.

"Is there any more of your secrets, Dev?" sarah also whispered but the tone of the question was very sharp. Devano kept so many secrets in his life and all that surprised Sarah "You have so many secrets that always surprised me, Dev. I don't want any more surprises" said Sarah who made Devano fall silent again. He let go of his embrace and looked at Sarah.

"There is no.." Devano said in a low voice.

"Correct?" sarah asked to be sure because Devano's expression and eyes were so unconvincing.

"There, dear." replied Devano again and he hugged Sarah again. While Sarah was silent without intending to return Devano's embrace. He still couldn't believe the facts he just knew.

Sensing Sarah not returning her embrace, Devano let go of her embrace and asked "Are you angry?" sally shook her head with a faint smile, "Keep why not hug me?" ask her.

Sarah immediately hugged Devano "No more lies and secrets, Dev. I've asked for this before, but you keep a pretty big secret. And I don't want any more secrets" Sarah asked.

"Sorry, honey." That's all Devano can say.
