In an instant, Cassie's bowl was clean. Romeo had also finished his noodles along with the woman.
Romeo takes Cassie's plate and she goes back to the kitchen. Cassie follows Romeo to see what he does.
It turns out Romeo washes the dishes they were wearing. After that, he also took out a glass from the closet.
Romeo only used instant goods in the kitchen, but that was enough to impress Cassie. This time he made Cassie hot chocolate.
"It's for you, so you don't starve anymore." He thrust one cup in his hand, at Cassie. Romeo rests his body on the counter table so he can see Cassie clearly.
"First, when Dad died, my sister and I had to be independent and cook by themselves." Romeo begins his story without an intro. "Dad died in an accident when we were 13."
"Sister?" Cassie chimed in on Romeo because Romeo was talking about his sister. He did not know Romeo had a younger brother because none of his family was present at their wedding.
"Yes, my sister likes to move around. So, I always spend my time alone."
Romeo took a long breath. Every time I talk about Dad, Mr. Smith, he's so sad. It's been 20 years since the man died, but Dad's departure is still vividly remembered in Romeo's mind.
"Prophey, Rom.."
"Thanks, Cass.." Romeo smiled bitterly.
"Rom, can I ask you something?" ask Cassie seriously.
"What dear?"
"Why do you want Dad's property? Don't you have a company, too?" "Then why are you cheating?" "Actually I could have tried to accept you if you hadn't done both."
Romeo was silent for a long time. He drank the hot chocolate to the end, then put the glass in the sink.
"Cassie Sebastian, actually I don't have any evil intentions like you said it was. I just can't explain right now." "Or, if you want to divorce me right now, I don't mind." "I will always be alone." Romeo turned.
He walked out of the kitchen. But, there were no 3 steps, Cassie ran to hug Romeo from behind.
Romeo smiled triumphantly. He's sure Cassie's gonna melt too. Romeo again put on a sad face, then turned again to face his wife.
"I'm sorry, Cass.." Romeo stroked Cassie's hair.
"Prove that you're not as bad as I thought."
"That's instant noodles, Rom. Later your son can be stupid for most micins." Cassie protested.
"My son is certainly as smart as his Daddy."
Cassie smiled. Romeo really made his life like a roller coaster. He doesn't even know what he's feeling right now. On the one hand, his hormones wanted Romeo, but on the other there was still such a great sense of suspicion in the man.
"We'll just rest. Let me carry you." Romeo carried Cassie to his room.
He placed Cassie in bed carefully, then covered the sleepy woman.
"Nite, baby.." Romeo last peeked Cassie's cheek.
"Rom, wait.." Cassie holds Romeo's arm, holding him back to leave.
"Baby we're still missing you. Can you sleep here tonight?" he said shyly.
"Okey, honey.."
Cassie slid her body to the edge, and made room for Romeo. Romeo got into bed, then immediately hugged the woman.
Romeo's actions make Cassie so comfortable. Cassie had long wanted to be noticed by Romeo like this.
"Cass, now, can I ask you something?"
"Hmmm.."
"If I was seriously ill, what would you do? Are you going to divorce me?" ask Romeo lirih.
"You don't say that." "Do you really want your wife to be a young widow with one child?"
"I need a definite answer Cass.." "Cass.."
Romeo looked at Cassie for not getting an answer. Cassie had fallen asleep with her mouth open.
"Oh, I can't take anyone seriously." Romeo resigned because he could not wake Cassie again.
