Dinda was quite aware, that he should not be too clinging to theoretical things. That's what he often reads. The authors diligently remind, how things that appear on the outside are not necessarily the same as those that actually exist on the inside. Expressions can lie. But there are times, when a person is careful enough, he can indeed play a part in this life, but not constantly. Wearing a mask constantly is exhausting.

But Dinda was proud of her father. Johan's tall lean physique, just like his, was clearly different from Bram's physique despite being tall but rather patchy. That fatness seems to imply laziness and gluttony. But from his observations for days spent together, Bram is not a lazy person. Early in the morning he likes to jog to Senayan, then go to work. I went home late in the afternoon and slept for a while. Then dinner, watch television, then sleep again. That's his stepfather's routine. His mother was only willing to jog with Bram in the early days. Then he returned to his old habit of sleeping. Lilis is a housewife who enjoys her life lazing around.

"Well, now say Dinda!"

Actually Dinda wanted to ask a lot of questions to her father, but it turned out he was first. After thinking for a while he began to tell about his current life with a new family member. But he decided not to talk about his antipathy and prejudice about Bram. He felt the story was to be put out at another moment, a more appropriate moment. Now time is too short. He also had to be able to estimate how his father would react when he heard such a story. Surely his father's reaction will be different from that of Aunt Della.

"So you said you didn't like Om Bram. Why?"

"Ah, it's hard to say why Dad. Just antipathy."

"Is he being nice to you?"

"Oh, of course Dad. He's trying so hard to be nice to me."

The words made Johan feel anxious. "You must be careful of him, Din. You're all grown up and beautiful. Don't get too close to her. There are many cases of men liking to go after their stepdaughter. You have to keep your distance if he tries to get closer. With the distance he will realize that it is not too easy for him to do bad things. Especially you have to be extra careful when you happen to be alone at home. Do not want to be invited to drink because he can put drugs into your drink. Short don't get close."

Dinda was stunned to hear his father's long warning. It is true, the reaction of a father is different from the reaction of an aunt. He hasn't told me about his instincts. How would his father react when he told him? Of course, he agreed with his father's words. The words were exactly what he thought himself. So he answered seriously, "Yes, father. I don't want to get near him. Don't worry."

Johan was relieved. "But you have to be careful. Man is the length of his wits, Din. What's clear is I won't stay silent if he dares to bother you."

This time Dinda was again surprised by the threatening tone in her father's voice. But he was happy that someone was protecting him. Suddenly he remembered something. "Well, are you still good at kung fu?" tanyakanya.

Johan's dumbfounded. "Why are you asking me that, Din?"

"It's okay. I want to know."

"Of course it still is. I have to practice every day. Dear that science. Anyway good for keeping fit. If left behind, the science will slowly disappear. Yes, every science is generally so. When not in use or in sharpening will be forgotten. There is no difference between the science of using the mind and the use of physical calm. In short I'm still pretty nimble Dinda. Well, now tell me, you certainly don't ask without something to mean, do you?"

"That's a big daddy. I want to learn!"

Johan was shocked again. Dinda was full of surprises. In the past he often invited him to study but Dinda did not want because it was forbidden by his mother, but he did not want to ask and immediately responded enthusiastically. "Good! When do you want to start?"

"Fastly, Dad."

"When that?"

"Tomorrow?"

Johan did not think long to answer. "good. And timed? You should stay in school, dong."

"Yes, enough. More is okay. Where is the place? Definitely not in your house. Dad's house, right?"

"Does Auntie mind Dad?" dinda asked hesitantly after a moment of joy. He knew his father was not alone in the house but accompanied by a woman called Aunt Irene.

"Of course not" said Johan lightly.

"Oh, it's so nice," said Dinda with a laugh.

Johan critically showed his daughter's face. He was happy to respond to Dinda's wishes. Thus they become more often together and have a lot of time to get along with each other. The plan was beyond his grandest expectations. But he did not believe that Dinda had nothing else to do behind the desire.

"Does your mother know, Din?"

"No. Do I have to ask her permission, Dad?" ask Dinda. He did not want to tell his mother.

"It's not. He certainly wants to know why you suddenly come to my house often. And what if he forbids it?"

Dinda thought. He had not thought about that possibility. Then remembered with surprise, that at that time his mother did not know why he was late to go home. Johan looked at her and immediately guessed her thoughts. "You better call mom now so she won't worry about it."

"What am I supposed to tell him, Dad?" dinda asked while taking her hape from inside the bag.

"Let's just say you happened to meet Dad and then get eaten. He'll be glad that you remember to tell him."

Dinda nodded then looked for her mother's number in contact and started calling. Shortly after, he had a conversation with Lilis. At first Lilis sounded unhappy but did not forbid when Dinda said. "Eating up, I'm gonna go with Dad to his house first, Mom."

"What the hell do you want?"

"Just play."

"Main what?"

"Whines. Don't worry Mom. I'm not a bad boy" Dinda joked. But his mother did not welcome him with laughter. "Yes, already. Let me keep you from leaving, right?"

"I'm going with Dad, Mom. Not just anyone."

"Yes, already. It was delivered home, right?"

"Sure dong, Mom."

After hanging up the phone, Dinda paused for a moment. He knew that if his mother had not had Bram, she would have been scolded and left. Does that mean that his presence at home is no longer needed? He shook his head to dismiss the unpleasant thought. Now is not the time to feel sad.
