The Perfect Match

The Perfect Match
Beautiful Necklace

The night had come, Valerie went down the stairs so quietly. A dress filled with beads attached to her body, a night dress designed specifically for her is really fitting and perfect, adding to the impression of glamour.

His phone rang, Carl's name on his phone screen.

"Hallo, Carl."

There was quite a noise across there, the sound of people talking and some screaming people who were preparing everything behind the stage.

"Valerie, where are you? You're gonna see my look, aren't you?"

Valerie smiled gently waving her hand at Alex who was sitting on the sofa of the living room.

"I promised Carl I'd go there, not to worry, I'd leave now." Answer Valerie softly.

"Thank you, Valerie, I'm waiting for you."

"Yes Carl. Spirit." Valerie said so enthusiastically, giving encouragement to Carl. The man was indeed angelic-hearted, helping out every charity event without any reward. Sometimes Valerie is confused, why the nature of the sister looks so different. Once Valerie heard skewed gossip about Kenrich, not just a woman's problem, the man was a little cruel because if his employees made a mistake he would not hesitate to throw a severance and eject him that day. Maybe for Ken every human being doesn't have a second chance, it's completely selfish and inhumane, not thinking about how the way the person he fired fed for their little family!.

"Thank you Valerie, then I have to prepare first, I wait for your presence. Bye, Angel." Carl's words stopped all Valerie's thoughts about Kenrich. It comes back to the real world.

A little laughter Valerie gave for that comforting remark. "Bye, Carl."

Valerie put her phone back in the small bag she was carrying in her hand.

"Valerie, you're really pretty like your mother. Come here, someone wants Grandfa to give." With Valerie's spirit down the remaining two steps, walked quickly towards Alex who was taking a medium-sized wooden box on the table.

Alex smiled gently and opened the wooden box slowly. Valerie almost shut her mouth in disbelief, inside was a necklace with a beautiful bandol.

"Who is this Grandfa?" Ask Valerie. The jewelry box looks old but still sturdy.

Alex's smile never seemed to fade. "This is our family jewelry. In the past, my mother gave it to my wife at a wedding in the castle, but luckily when she left, she left this jewelry behind. Supposedly, your Mommy first accepted this, but at that time I felt no need, this necklace always reminded me of my past mistakes and the selfishness of my wife, makes me want to throw and remove this necklace. But no matter how this is a family legacy, I will give it to you. Accept it."

Valerie's hands stretched out and resisted subtly. "No Grandfa, if it's worth saving, I'm afraid to wear something this valuable."

Alex shook his head. "You are more precious to me my grandson, accept it and keep it well. Ah, you turn your body around, so I'll pair it." Valerie knew her rejection would only go to waste.

Valerie turned her back on Alex, the man began to hook and hook the ends of the two. Valerie touched the small pendant with that exquisite design. He smiled and turned around.

"Oh Grandfa, thank you, this is so beautiful."
