Valerie's phone rang, making the two turn their attention to Valerie's phone. Carl's name was on the screen, making Ken cleared his throat and walked slowly to the exit, looking for someone they could ask.

"Hallo, Carl." Valerie's eyes follow Kenrich's. He was afraid that the man would leave him alone.

"Valerie. Sorry I didn't call you yesterday. I'm really busy here." Carl's voice felt so guilty.

"It's okay, Carl. I've been busy these past few days too." Valerie started walking towards the exit, as she saw Kenrich begin to disappear from view.

"Take care of your health. Remember, enough rest even if you're busy."

"Yes. You are also." Just as Valerie was about to turn Kenrich appeared making him scream softly.

"Gosh, you surprised me."

"The room is there." Valerie glanced at the passageway in question then nodded her head.

"The vallerie? Who are you with? I seem to know that voice." Carl's voice seemed to make Valerie aware that she was still receiving calls.

"Ah, I'm with Grandfa. I'll call you back later, Carl. Bye." Valerie turned off the call and put the phone back in her handbag.

They walked silently towards the room in question. Like a stranger trapped in a labyrinth.

"Carl turned out to be a standby lover." Valerie looked at Ken not like it. The man's tone was so insinuating with that handsome face smiling sinisterly.

"Why are you so sure that Carl and I are lovers?" Ask Valerie groped.

"You're always together. Even just not seeing each other for a few days already misses each other like that." Valerie snorted and glanced at Ken. They were still walking slowly along the aisle of this amazing castle.

"Are you jealous of me?" Ken raised his eyebrows as if saying 'What?'.

"You're jealous because Carl called me while his cold brother didn't get word."

"What if I ask you to be my lover? You and Carl don't have anything to do, do you?"

Valerie's heart stopped for a few seconds. The man spoke as if to say 'there's a passing mouse' so relaxed and far from serious. "Well! Don't be silly, Ken, even the news says that you already have a boyfriend." Valerie is anxious. He hoped Ken would dispute the news.

If only Kenrich had said this a few years ago, he would have gladly said YES. But at the moment, Valerie was hesitant, this was as if it wasn't serious and Valerie didn't want to demean herself anymore for this man.

"Adding one woman doesn't hurt. I'll meet all your needs." Those words just slide. Making Valerie who is already above the clouds must be thrown into the bottom of the abyss because of that fact.

"You're crazy! You made me your mistress?!"

"Don't turn down Valerie. Isn't this what you want?" Ken looked at the doubtful looking bead. Sometimes Kenrich wanted to laugh at Valerie's reply, as if she was letting out her jealousy. They seemed to be bargaining with each other without Valerie directly rejecting him.

"How's it?" Ask Ken back. He has no lover. Only Amber has ever made a lover for the first and last time to date. For her the woman is just her fatigue reliever. And how lucky Valerie would be if she accepted it.

"Yes! If it was 4 years ago, Ken. Now I refuse to be your mistress!"

The sound of clapping stopped their conversation. At the end of it, Alex looks at them with a big smile. "What are you doing? Come here kids. Play me a piece of music." Kenrich let go of his hand which was holding Valerie's arm, slightly keeping their distance and looking at Alex who was not too far away.

Valerie first walks up to Alex, leading Ken to follow her in slow but long steps.

"Sorry grandfather, we were a little lost earlier."
