Valerie calmed her heartbeat as Kenrich began to drift apart, keeping her distance and a smile satirically she gave before stepping up and starting to walk to the end of the hall, turning and disappearing.
Valerie threw herself in the wall, what happened to Ken? Why did he become such a jerk?!.
"Valerie, are you okay?" Carl's voice seemed a little panicked, running towards him in a hurry.
"I'm fine. It's just a little dizzy." Lying Valerie.
"Huh? You're lacking rest." Carl closed his mouth in doubt, he turned his head back, then looked back at Valerie.
"Pulse. What was my sister? He did something to you?" The question made Valerie realize, she immediately tidied up her clothes, her hair and the look on her face. Valerie's sure, Carl's gonna suspect something.
"No. He said welcome. It's the first meeting after 10 years." Valerie smiled blandly and looked at Carl doubtfully.
"I think he's getting worse when we last met."
Carl smiled a little. Moving her lips slowly, as if she was stringing up the word to be said.
"He's... It's getting colder, isn't it?" Valerie nodded slowly.
"My brother since he was CEO has changed like that. Maybe because of his heavy work. But you don't have to think about it, you won't see much later."
Yep! Valerie agreed with Carl's words, he was only a few months in Los Angeles, his schedule was crowded, Kenrich was an important person, he would be busy and they certainly would not be reunited. Let's just say it's his unlucky day, or his lighter, fleeting nightmare.
"Yes. Youre right. Let's go back." Valerie said directly. A little excited and trying to forget about the incident.
"Ah, yes, we should go back because the show is about to start." Carl Sahut. They walked through the hallway, back in the spacious room with a frenetic twinkle that was so luxurious, filled with important people or rather the celebs and the Billionaires.
The thought made him switch to another world, immersed in his own thoughts. He remembered that Kenrich was cold and gluttonous, but behind it, he had a soft heart, always succumbing to Carl and obeying his parents. No matter how cynical Ken is to Valerie, Ken keeps treating her when she falls on the lawn, giving some scathing remarks for Valerie to be careful. But the Ken who was now different, his heart did not feel warm, this man was really cold and dangerous.
Valerie remembered the last day they met. Valerie's eyes sparkled, it was like she was getting light walking towards her.
"Carl! Look, your brother is finally out of the cage!" Pekik Valerie's. He pointed at Ken who was walking towards them.
Seen the look of a dislike face from Ken, his eyes turned slowly with laziness.
"What are you going to play now?"
"We're going to bike. You're really gonna play?" Ask Carl enthusiastically.
"Yes. To celebrate Valerie's last day is here. You're really moving to Canada, aren't you?" Ask Ken. Valerie snorted, she stomped her feet. Ken is totally outrageous. He glanced at Carl who looked shocked.
"Valerie, is that true?" The boy looked teary. Makes Valerie pout and pat Carl's shoulder slowly.
"Yes. I'm sorry Carl. I was gonna tell her later."
"You're gonna leave me and Ken's brother?" Carl's question began to tremble. Valerie looked at Ken angrily, she did not want any sadness at the beginning of their separation. At least they spent their last time happily and happily, before he came home and said goodbye. But Ken ruined it all, that guy was really mean.
