Valerie frowned. It felt like he wanted to ignore, yet it made him affected. “What revenge?”

Carl clutches his own hair and silences his mouth, trying to say all but fear Valerie hates him instead. As another thought flashed, he looked back at Valerie.

“Amber. That woman was my sister's lover for many years. I was alone, and Amber came up to me, a seductress, persuading me to make love to her. However, Ken came and misunderstood, I was resisting back then. My sister was really angry and hit me.” Valerie was speechless, she remembered Ken had once said about the affair.

“So..” greeting Valerie depends.

“Ken knows I love you so much, Ken only made you a tool of revenge. Even my brother asked for all my share of shares for him. He forced me to confess to not being interested about the company to everyone.” Valerie shook her head, it felt claustrophobic, but she did not easily believe in any of this before getting proof. “My brother is not a good man Val, he is evil. I don't want to see you destroyed.”
