That night, two hearts met and blended together.
The young 'baby face' Rey of Evertonia and the tomboy Joy of Evernesia.
Two small sand points on the beach life is vast that seems impossible to meet, separated various rocks, gravel and algae fragments. But by God's will, when the waves come rolling, the two points are blown together,
The rebellious spirit prince (whose identity is still well hidden today) and a simple commoner girl, who never expected to meet in one of the smallest holes, on the same beach rock called Evernesia.
Luckily Rey, Joy is very different from anyone she has ever known, and met in her noble life as well as her college life. The reception of the girl, who was so sincere and pure, and the chemistry that was just so intertwined when together, surprised him so much. Never before had a woman suddenly kissed her cheek, although many girls of the Kingdom of Evertonia SMU first expressed a liking to her. Joy's arm circles, small thin yet tightly warm, shamelessly hugging her slender waist on the motor, not to mention her chest which contained a tight lean on the back of her jacket. Ah, which young man doesn't get excited inside out. Difficult, indeed. Frankly, he was tempted. But that's not what Rey's main goal is. It's not that far yet! Let it all flow.
Joy felt the same way. Anxious, scuffling, of course, does not mean angry yes. He's just upset, "there's a guy like that, but still a guy!" He sometimes even felt, the tomboyish self lost feminine, although of course Rey remained masculine even though not a big man. It's so good, Rey is real and really loves it. Joy's former ex-boyfriend, whom she lived with no feelings at all, never said love. But Rey, honestly without hesitation, 'shot him' inside the cinema room.
It's just that one biggest wedge is still in Joy's mind. Rey is honest about everything. Except for the family at Evertonia. What was the name of his mother's father, where his childhood home. When Joy asks, her lover always switches the chatter material. Looks like Rey isn't ready to tell you all that.
The next week, Rey kept her promise. He came back to Joy's college, picked her up while she was still administering her graduation. They went out to eat ice cream and walk around the mall near the campus as he always did.
Till...
While Joy is still chattering while licking her ice cream, Rey's steps suddenly come to a halt. He pulled Joy's arm to the side, a little hard and startling. She led the girl to the corner "Joy, wait, sorry." Then she kissed Joy's face for a little while.
Deg. "What's up, Rey?" Jengah Joy, between joy mixed with shame. It was no ordinary kiss. Her lips are soft, but somewhat maksa. "aww. Not that I can, but.." Joy pushed Rey's chest slightly away.
"Sshh.." Rey's index finger covered Joy's lips.
"Uhh, that's.you wait here, there's 'them' uhh, yes my old friend." Rey whispered while holding Joy's hands. "Don't go anywhere, careful. Can you?" His words gently ensure.
Rey turned. His narrowed eyes sharply watched the hallway of the mall which happened to be silent. Then release Joy's hand and walk in a certain direction that is not how far.
Where two men, dressed casually as visitors in general, seem to have known Rey. "We meet again." Say hello to one of them.
Joy eavesdropped suspiciously, her tone unfriendly, memorable cynical. "This is no ordinary friend. What are they related to?"
"You guys finally found me." Rey said a little loudly. "Stay away from my life! I don't need you guys."
"We're not protecting you, Your Majesty. We warned. Without the need for violence of course, we expect you to return to Evertonia soon." Said the other man in a non-joking tone.
"What if I refuse?"
"You must be prepared for the consequences. We are not responsible for what happened after this last warning. Return, Prince. The people of Evertonia need you."
Rey smiled coldly. "May I submit to you right now." Rey secretly mastered martial arts. He mounted the horses, ready to teach the two unknown people Joy. "When necessary, here, I silenced them, before Joy knew everything about me from these two creatures. But, ah. No, I can't."
Rey exhaled, annoyed when she realized something. "This is another country. Here's the law of Evernesia that applies." Intentionality. "Go you! I'm not coming back. Leave me, forget me. Tell it to Ayahanda."
The two men who did not look friendly seemed to be getting angrier, but could do nothing about it. Their fingers are clenched. They know that even though Rey is alone, she's strong enough.
Joy was silent trying to absorb everything that was used as the talk of the three men.
"Evertonia?"
"Your Majesty?"
"Prince?"
He smelled something wrong here. Not a small thing, a very important thing!
Rey is hiding something.
He's gonna have to work hard to dismantle it all by himself, Rey, he's never gonna talk. "So after we get back from here, I'll find something from the pile of old newspapers left by papa. I'm sure there's been news of Rey."
"We're going home now? My old friends are gone. Yuk." yuk." Rey came back to Joy's place as if nothing had happened.
"Tens.. Sure did! I hope you're not in trouble." Stiff, Joy tried to smile, shooing her.
"Of course not." Rey smiled warmly again. "Nobody can disturb us. I'll protect you. Don't worry." The sweet curvature in her squinty eyes always makes Joy anxious.
"All right." Joy helplessly restrains her greget and decides to postpone all her questions. "Go home, let's have a casual chat at my house."
That night, after Rey's return from her home, Joy rushes to the warehouse. The collection of the old newspaper of the deceased papa is still there even though the paper has yellowed. The old newspaper was one by one dismantled and researched Joy, every news about Evertonia in the headlines read well.
"What ???" Suddenly the newspaper he read almost crumpled up so in disbelief.
Her guess all along, her suspicions about Rey's identity, were there, along with a photo of her new lover.
"Prince Reinhard of Evertonia Disappeared!"
"Prince!"
