"It's not to be your queen..."
King Friedrich who was devastated certainly did not want any surprises, or at least did not expect much of Xiao Jie's return.
He had long realized, that his move to bring the Dragon Woman yesterday turned out to be fruitless he wanted, because Prince Rey was not interested in getting angry and made him cancel the intention. Until finally there was a 'royal marriage lies without love' which even made everything runyam.
But the arrival of May today made the Old King surprised.
What's he want? The king, always suspicious and wary of any possibility, was preparing to welcome the arrival of his ex-wife, who was said to be carrying something special.
"Goodbye, Your Majesty." May is ready for any eventuality, any rejection or acceptance her ex-husband will give. His job was to just return the ring and then convey the intention of Xiao Jie who wanted to part properly with the King.
"Oh." King Frederick was a little stunned. "You're still as beautiful as ever and even today it's amazing. As if you wanted to mock my failed marriage relationship with the Dragon Lady Xiao Jie who ran away brought something from me?"
"You mean our ring?"
King Fredrich who was still cool was amazed to see the object that was then issued by his ex-wife.
"Where did you get that thing? Don't you cooperate with Xiao Jie to steal it from my room."
"I've never even met that woman." May answered honestly.
"Hmm, yes, too. Then where do you get our mementos?"
The king who had aged yet still had a face and stature similar to Rey was speechless. He can not deny, May's appearance today is very alluring. May who when the girl was so beautiful was attractive, and until now seemed not to age. Even boldly, the once-colossal Friedrich secretly broke with tradition and dated in secret with May whom he married in secret.
It all ended after Reinhard was born.
"I admit, I used to be careless for breaking the laws of the kingdom. Marry you, a commoner, in this palace." Friedrich tries to reminisce about the past he desperately tries to forget.
"Well, if we had been married the way Rey-Joy did, outside of this country, there would have been no problem. Because it's still permissible, even though I can never be a queen."
"Yes. It was a good idea that was discovered later by our rebellious son. Now, frankly, I'm a little jealous of the happiness of their little family. Has two grandchildren. Ah, we've become a pair of grandparents. It's ironic that I'm stuck with the Dragon Girl, the thief woman." King Frederick giggled, laughing at his own unfortunate self. "Over the time we were with him, we didn't even do anything, because there was no love, let alone ties!"
"We can repeat everything from the beginning. Unite again, forget the past for the sake of happiness both of us and Reinhard family as well."
May approaches, "My king, I may not be worthy to be your queen. But we're both grandparents to two clever and funny grandchildren and parents to a very good son."
King Frederick looked at the beautiful woman he had married. "So, what do you mean by all this, May?"
"I want us to be together again. I'm still waiting for you and I still want to be with you."
