Don't Dare to Tell the Boss, Or...
"Uh, oh, I'm sorry," said Joy still in shock and fear, wanting to step inside as if she had seen nothing in the living room of the office.
"Hey hey hey, where's Joy going, wait a minute. We're not done talking!" Mr. Pew was a little rude this time, reprimanding Joy in a tone very different from before. He stood up and gripped tightly on the arm of the new girl.
"Just forget everything you just saw this morning. Don't ever tell Boss Bee" he said in Joy's ear, rough and cold.
"Please cooperate, if you still want to work here." added Ms. Mew laughed in a bad tone. "Especially if Pew's wife finds out, you're ready to give us a bad assessment so that Boss Bee immediately tells you to leave here! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"
Uh. Threats. Joy could only shiver helplessly. These seniors apparently cheated on Joy and caught her, but instead threatened her not to complain!
What am I supposed to do? Joy's been fretting all day. Boss Bee who came a little afternoon also kissed the change in attitude of Joy and her two old men, but because everything was silent, she could not act anything.
Boss Bee should know. But I don't have any proof. And my position as a new kid is very weak. Just talking quietly without any hard evidence could be considered Boss Bee as slander. All wrong!
And for the rest of the week, Joy worked with anxiety, while Pew and Mew grew bolder. When Boss Bee is meeting out of the office, they are engrossed anywhere, even in the living room while locking the front door, while Joy can only work while pretending not to look. Ih, not that I am envious, but this affair is so disgusting! And I have neither the courage nor anyone who can help me out of this situation.
And when Saturday arrives, Rey of course comes to pick up with her carefree smile, the handsome face of the baby face that always makes Joy anxious. But this time something was different. Joy is not as happy as usual.
When they had dinner at the mall, Rey who was eating chattering told a film that she watched on DVD was not listened to by Joy, who was not, who just sat dumbly staring at the food while stirring up his drink.
"Joy, halooo, didn't you hear my story? What's up?" Rey understood also at last, the quiet girl must be in trouble. "Boast Bee? You made a mistake?"
"No, i..." Joy is still trying to avoid.
"Uh, okay." Joy finally ventured to reveal the details of the horrendous morning incident to Rey. "So that's the story. Duh, shy, scared, reluctant..."
Rey pensive. "Oh, so there are also instances of such infidelity in real life. I thought it was only in the drama Khoreya's story office."
"And I feel guilty for Pew's wife, even though I don't know her in person." Joy's tone now seemed to cry. "It feels like I'm wrong that I don't dare to be honest with Boss Bee..."
"Already, cup cup, already.." Rey patted Joy on the shoulder to calm her down.
"I'll help you." promised Frog Prince Rey with a smile again.
"Huh? Don't tell me, you'll bring Yin and Yang to my guard, or you yourself come in your great robe as Prince of Evertonia to my office."
"Uhhh, ha ha ha. It won't be like that either time, Joy..." Rey chuckles.
"Joy will wait for Monday. There'll be a surprise in Rey's Bee Advertising office."
"Uh, what the hell?"
"You just wait, just sit sweet. And remember, no comment or surprise yes Monday." closed Rey while giving the sweetest smile.
