Painful Rejection in the Past
So the commoner May and King Frederick of Evertonia secretly began a relationship that was actually declared a grave violation by the law of the colossal monarchy of Evertonia. At that time King Friedrich was still trying hard to cover their relationship status by pretending to appoint May as his personal secretary in charge of taking care of all the royal agenda. But not always their love can be covered up while the nobles began to sniff suspiciously.
So secretly in a closed religious ceremony, Friedrich married May and hid their marital status by never making announcements, press conferences or the Royal Wedding.
Unfortunately in their efforts to close the husband-wife status meeting, May successfully two-bodied and her stomach that began to crack can no longer be hidden. The public began to speculate wildly that King Frederick and his beautiful secretary Mayvelina had secretly married.
"King Frederick, nobility, without prejudice to our respect, we ask that you explain all this, why you and Miss Mayvelina have so quietly formalized the relationship, while our glorious kingdom has actually been trying hard to maintain the purity of the blood of the noble house of Evertonia for hundreds of years. We need a future king who is clearly the genealogy of his descendants so as not to break the noble history of the blue blood of the Kingdom of Evertonia."
Such was the plea made by the nobles' elders, urging King Frederick to acknowledge all and take a super-heavy decision: Abdicate voluntarily or divorce May and deport her out of Evertonia for all eternity.
In a protracted dilemma and intense pressure from the nobility and the people, King Frederick finally made his decision,
"May, after you give birth to our child later, we should immediately separate, because actually our relationship is never allowed to happen, he said, and we should be able to forget and let everything that ever happened between us become a memory."
"But... " May started to shed tears. "King, I don't want to be separated from you and from our children later, male or female. I want the three of us to stay together no matter what!" he begged the king to postpone the heartbreaking decision.
"That will never happen because everything we do is actually a mistake. You are indeed the most beautiful rose in Evertonia, but you are a Wild Rose that accidentally grew in the royal courtyard and should have been removed and thrown away immediately, because your presence broke the pure royal lineage. You can never be a queen. Our son will be with me, for my blood is on his body, and he can still be king in the future!" Friedrich firmly said in a cold tone.
Born a black-haired boy with a handsome face and a slender look like Friedrich, but brown-eyed like May. May gave him the name Reinhard which means big, brave and strong, with a familiar call Rey.
After Rey's baby was a few months old, Mey was forced to let her little son be taken and cared for by the king's father, while she was forced to move, banished to a distant land for good.
"And never dare to show up or tell who you are in front of Rey when she grows up, or you and she will bear the bitter consequences of all your deeds forever..."
Thus was Friedrich's last sentence before handing over their divorce papers into the poor hands of May.

"My son..."
