WWUUSSH!

The instant Chloe felt a small gust of wind around her, The wind and glare light disappeared. The girl opened her eyes and found herself in a strange place.

The place was full of large tubes about the size of a human being filled with water, whether he was where but certainly according to Chloe the place was like a research laboratory. Many large cables are connected to each other.

"What kind of place is this?! It's awful" Chloe muttered as she stared at the empty tubes around her.

Before long the net saw a large tube containing a human, Curiously Chloe approached the human. Taking a closer look, his outstretched hand touched the glass of the tube.

In the human body it is connected with wires that come out of nowhere. There is an oxygen tube that is connected to the human. Chloe's looking for the name of the tube, she found the name of a Code right under the tube.

"Experiment code M-26?" Chloe tilted her head in surprise staring at the code she had just read. Mumbled confused. "Is this the name of the person or the experiment?"

"Hm...Lest they kidnap humans to be guinea pigs, then turn them into robots or modified humans?! Hiii! It's so scary" Chloe shuddered in horror at the thought of it actually happening.

As Chloe wrestled with her negative thoughts, she suddenly heard a huge bang behind her. Even Chloe also felt the ground she was treading somewhat tremble as the bang appeared.

Before long the sound of alarm sounded from that place, Chloe saw a man running through her body. For a moment his net rounded in shock when he saw the man running away somewhere.

The journey takes a while, Chloe must chase Aiden through the wilderness. Although in all honesty Chloe feels overwhelmed because Aiden runs faster than her.

Until finally they came out of the forest and knew the night had changed to morning. Chloe sighed, filling up her oxygen-depleted lungs. Fortunately Aiden had stopped running and the man headed for the lake to wash his face.

The girl's move approached Aiden who was an adult, the age of the man ranged from 24-25 years according to Chloe. For a moment the girl crouched down next to the purple-blended young man. Looking at Aiden's face from the reflection of the shadow of the lake.

"I see now, it turns out that your power came from the experiments that those people did. They deserve to take you somewhere when you were a kid" Chloe said with a beard.

Aiden just silently stared at the reflection of his face in the lake, Of course Aiden could not hear Chloe's voice. Before long Aiden suddenly pulled out his claw weapon from his right hand, Staring at his weapon in silence. Chloe automatically stared at what Aiden was doing.

"I've been experimenting with these freaks for years, those who made me a guinea pig. But after their experiment was successful, they wanted to take this power away from me for their own sake," Aiden smiled sinisterly, Directing his claws at one of the trees there.

"Basic hypocrite!"

KKRRAAKK!

Instantly the tree that Aiden was targeting left a large enough claw mark on his side and soon the tree fell to hit the ground below.

Chloe gaped as Aiden's strength hit the tree to the ground, and her hair brushed away instantly.

"Geez, Aiden's 2X fold power is scarier when he's angry. She could have been a fugitive from the government if she couldn't control her power, "Chloe thought in horror as she rubbed both of her bristling arms.

Aiden turned to look at the streets of the city which was only 30 meters away from them standing, He stepped away towards the city not forgetting to remove his claws. Chloe just follows the young man, though in her heart she wonders Aiden's past relationship with him.

The city streets are so crowded with traffic, there are also many pedestrians on the sidewalk. Aiden stepped in to blend in with the other pedestrians. The moment the dark purple Netra glanced at the few shops they passed by with a flat expression.

Before his feet stopped stepping in front of a cake shop, Aiden stared at the cake shop in silence with an unfathomable glare. Chloe looked at Aiden for a moment and then looked at the cake shop instead.

"Is Aiden hungry? She kept staring at the cake shop, "Chloe thought in surprise, The girl waved her hand in front of Aiden's face. But there was no response from the man.

For a moment, Aiden's own breath was heard, after which his feet again stepped away from the area of the cake shop. Back to mingling with other pedestrians.

In a quiet and quiet park, Aiden stopped walking. He sat himself on one of the park benches. While Chloe chose to sit on the grass, playing with the small twigs she got on the ground.

His feet stepped closer to the rose bush and plucked two stalks of roses, Red and Blue roses. Aiden sat back on his stool after picking the roses, playing them in his hand.

Aiden's dark purple netra stared wistfully at the two rose stalks in his hand, Perhaps remembering his family first. Aiden was silent for a long time in the park until finally the sound of small footsteps approached Aiden.

A TAP! A TAP! A TAP!

"Uncle! Why is uncle here alone?"

Hearing the voice of the little boy nearby made Aiden turn his head with a flat expression, Staring at a girl with a black mane of long pieces and red neutrals like ruby stones, looking at a girl with a black mane, The boy also wears a maroon-red scarf. He held a small doll and a loaf of bread in his hand. His red netra gaze stared innocently at Aiden.

In contrast to Chloe, the girl gasped as the voice of the little boy swept through her hearing. The voice sounded familiar to the girl. Chloe's reflexes turned her head and found the little boy staring at Aiden. Chloe was shocked to death.

"Tu-wait first! That me?! I was a kid?! How could I have met Aiden when I was 5, I don't even remember seeing him myself" Chloe never thought of Aiden's past.

Chloe is very familiar with the little boy who approached Aiden, The boy is a picture of him as a child but Chloe does not remember ever meeting Aiden before.

"Does this mean I'm not the first time I'm in this game?! It means I've been in this world before my mission even began," Chloe thought still in her shock, She approached Aiden and little Chloe to hear their conversation more clearly.

Aiden just stared silently at little Chloe, then sighed softly. Answer with flat. "Go boy! This isn't a safe place to play for a kid like you,"

"Keep if it's not a safe place, uncle why alone here?" Tanya plain little Chloe, Hugging tightly to her doll.

"Do you know what?!" Aiden stared coldly at the little Chloe nearby. His tone is a bit high. "Don't interfere in adult affairs!"

Hearing Aiden's slightly elevated tone made little Chloe scared, The little boy's body trembled somewhat and his head lowered in fear. His hands were getting tighter hugging his puppet. Choose silence no longer.

Aiden was speechless realizing he almost snapped at the innocent little boy in front of him, The young man sighed. Swiping his nape awkwardly, Confused what to say with the little boy nearby.

For years Aiden never faced a child let alone to talk like this, So Aiden was quite confused what to behave like. For a moment he exhaled again and his hand stretched out rubbing the black mane of little Chloe.

Little Chloe looked up when Aiden's hand rubbed her mane, Slowly little Chloe's smile re-expelled cheerfully with vigor.

"Chloe Watson, and uncle's name?"

"Aiden. Where are your parents?"

"It's nice to meet Aiden's uncle" said the cheerful little Chloe who only got a nod from Aiden. "I don't know uncle either. I'm not with my parents, I think I'm straying. My parents aren't here,"

Aiden furrowed his brows, Feeling astonished that a child as small as Chloe could walk around without the supervision of her parents. Then where are the parents of this child?

Slowly Aiden turned his hand to touch Chloe's little forehead, Trying to find the boy's memory of the existence of little Chloe's parents, He closed his eyes for a moment. Before long Aiden opened his eyes again after the search process was complete, His expression was a bit surprised for a moment but he came back with a flat expression afterwards.

"This kid is from a different world, How could he stray so far?! Very far from both of his parents. He must have accidentally entered an inter-dimensional portal, "Aiden thought he was beginning to understand why little Chloe was in that place.

Aiden starts eating his part of the bread, though he's still wondering how little Chloe found an inter-dimensional portal. Her net momentarily glanced back at little Chloe beside her, Now the boy seemed engrossed in playing with his puppet.

Somehow Aiden felt comfortable with little Chloe, the little boy also kindly gave some bread for her earlier. Although they've just met, but Aiden feels calmer when she's with little Chloe.

Aiden picked up a red rose that he had just picked up, Slowly the corner of his lips lifted into a gentle smile. Then she turned her head while looking at little Chloe who was still playing with her doll.

"Chloe Watson,"

"Yes uncle?"

Little Chloe turned her head as Aiden clasped her one hand, The young man also smiled then led little Chloe's hand to hold a red rose in his hand. Although little Chloe just stared at Aiden plain because she did not understand what Aiden wanted to do. Aiden lowered himself to be on par with Chloe's height.

"Chloe Watson, when you grow up. Will you be Uncle's life partner?"

On the other hand, Chloe who had noticed the interaction between Aiden and herself as a child was immediately shocked when Aiden's voice swept through her hearing. It was unthinkable for her that Aiden would propose to her when she was a child, even though she had to wait for her to grow up, but Chloe still could not have expected it.

"Well, thank you uncle. But what is the meaning of 'living companion?" Little Chloe was still staring confusedly, Aiden just smiled a little and then rubbed the black mane belonging to little Chloe.

"When you grow up, you'll know what it means" Aiden stood up and turned his head. "Let's go with uncle, it's time for you to go home,"

"Hm...Yes," Little Chloe cheerfully followed Aiden while tightly hugging her doll and grasping the rose in her hand.

They go to go somewhere. If people see them, then maybe those people will think Aiden and little Chloe are father and son.

"Oh, it turns out that you brought in a new experimental material huh," The man laughed happily while clapping for a moment. "Good, very good,"

Aiden stared intently still alert and alert at the people around him, his aura turned gloomy. "He's not an experimenter! If you dare to touch this child, I will kill all of you!"

"Currently, you can't do anything without being ruled by the Chairman. Everybody get them both!" Said the man who automatically his subordinates directly obey the order.

Little Chloe trembled in fear as she tightly held the tip of Aiden's clothes, her red Netra glazed over. "Uncle, I'm scared,"

Aiden flinched as he felt the tight grip of little Chloe at the end of his clothes, He reflexively hugged little Chloe then cradled the child and ran away from there.

"Calm down, you'll be safe, Chloe,"

Aiden kept running while poking little Chloe, Towards a place. He turned into a narrow alley, but unfortunately it turned out to be a dead end. Aiden's really freaking out, he took little Chloe down. Then align her body with the child while holding onto both of Chloe's shoulders.

"Chloe, listen to uncle. Uncle will activate a portal so you can go home. If the portal's open, you need to get inside. Understood?!" Aiden said seriously, Staring at little Chloe's red net.

"Yes, Uncle," obediently little Chloe nodded. I almost wanted to cry because I was so scared.

Aiden was speechless he rubbed the corner of little Chloe's eye with his thumb, Slowly Aiden stuck his forehead with little Chloe's forehead. Closing your eyes for a moment.

"Uncle hope we'll meet again when you're grown up. Uncle'll pick you up later. Uncle loves you Chloe Watson, "Lirih Aiden is feeling sad about parting with little Chloe.

"I also love uncle, Thank you for helping me with Uncle Aiden," little Chloe cupped Aiden's cheeks with her two little hands, smiled sweetly and then kissed Aiden's cheeks softly.

As the long-dead feeling re-emerged within Aiden, a warm feeling spread throughout his body. His heart rate slowly uncontrollably, his cheeks flinched thinly when he got a peck on the cheek by little Chloe.

Aiden knows their age is far away, but he feels he has fallen in the charms of Chloe Watson. The little boy she had only known a few minutes ago made Aiden feel that warm feeling again. Even though they have to separate now.

The purple-browed young man clutched little Chloe's body one last time, although some of him felt unwilling to let go of Chloe. But now he has to do it because Chloe's little life is at stake.

"Uncle will be waiting for you Chloe," Lirih Aiden was sad. Drown her face on Chloe's little shoulder.

After that brief hug, Aiden stood up and began to channel his power on the wall to open the dimensional connecting portal. Before long appeared a black portal without a base from the wall, the portal rotated like the rotation of the earth.

With a faint smile Aiden pushed lightly on Chloe's small shoulder, encoding for little Chloe to immediately enter that portal. Slowly little Chloe's footsteps led her towards the portal, As little Chloe looked back to look at Aiden who was standing in silence.

Feeling sad about leaving Aiden, little Chloe ran back to the young man and hugged him back. Suddenly Aiden flinched but then he smiled as he returned little Chloe's embrace.

"Uncle Aiden, thank you very much. If Chloe comes back here as an adult, Chloe will find an uncle" said Chloe with a cheerful smile.

"Yes, Uncle's gonna be waiting for Chloe too,"

After that parting hug, little Chloe returned to the portal. He waved softly at Aiden for a moment, Aiden only replied to the wave. Finally little Chloe disappeared into the portal as the door closed. And Aiden who can only stare at little Chloe's departure.

Chloe was silent staring at the separation between herself and Aiden, until finally the beam of light appeared and made Chloe have to close her eyes. He had no idea what happened to Aiden after his childhood passing.
